  1. I like pleasure spiked with pain and music is my aeroplane... Next challenge is take a pic of your bike parked at your local and/or favorite pizza joint.
  2. Nah.. I'm gonna snag the airplane pic in a little bit. Stand by for marching orders.
  3. Don't ride one. You could fit so many dead cats in this baby.

    Ride Saturday 10-10

Damn. Hope hs isn't too shaken and heals quickly. That sucks.
  5. The thought crossed my mind, but the BMW is flat out fast and the Wing is my middle-age crisis bike. I could have bought so many Chipotle burritos with that money.
  6. High school buddy had a maroon one, 5-speed. We tore up the streets with that mother. Good times. Also, I just got a reality check. I just realized I graduated a quarter of a century ago.

    Ride Saturday 10-10

What happened, or does he not remember yet?
  8. Excellent. Wishing many miles ahead of you.
  9. I think the seat is perfect. Not just "good enough", but it is all day long comfortable..especially on 2-lane roads. The shape is ideal and the padding is the right amount of firm. So glad, too. I just dropped almost $1000 on farkles.

    You can ride the GSA.

  12. If this helps, I am 5'9" w/ 29" inseam. My knees have more than enough room to the fairing and the bars could be an inch or so further back for my reach.
  13. I know. I remember the comment. I plan on paying some random 17 year old kid at the dealership to do it. That way I can be broke and dead. Lol
  14. This one was in a crate until a week ago.
  15. I wanted the touring package and did not know I did until Monday. The Voyager served its purpose. It allowed me to buy into 2-up touring and see if it stuck. It is something we both enjoy and we have a great time on the road together. I just knew I was quickly outgrowing my love affair with touring cruisers. The ride on Jim's bike was enough to know the Voyager was something I couldn't tour with for another season. I was buying a Wing before next season, so I just saved myself 5 months of scouring the internet for the deal of the century.
  16. I knew on Monday I was buying one. I did 330 miles of 2-up at a moderately quick pace and it just glides. It is fast, but not too fast to outrun its own ability to corner. The front end does a nice job of keeping it under control. I am impressed by the way it can be hustled with such little effort...especially 2-up. It would be cool to see you on the road. Let's make that happen.
  17. We swapped bikes for a short bit on Monday. Before we took off he asked if I was prepared to spend $20k on a bike. I wasn't, but that ended up being irrelevant, because I spent the next 3 days searching for one. He and I zoomed to Nielsen Motorsports in Lake Villa, Illinois Friday night. We spooned all night, had Starbucks for breakfast and zoomed to the dealership Saturday when they opened. It was ready to roll, except for the system update Jim was prepared to install for me, but they jumped on it with the quickness. I got my tutorial from the salesman and some more pertinent pointers from Jim. Rode it 445 miles home yesterday and put another couple hundred on it today. It just keeps getting better. If you are in the market for a sport touring mount, then go look at one of these. Ride one before you write it off. This bike is incredibly nimble and can be pushed hard all day with little fatigue. It takes everything I can throw at it and just eats miles at speed with ease. The brakes are awesome. Six-piston front calipers and 320mm dual discs stop this thing in its tracks. The new front end is the shining star of the bike, but the flat-6 and delicious exhaust note are nice touch. Also, Honda is offering .9%/60 month financing on leftover 2018 models for the rest of this month. That made the decision a little easier for me.
  18. I have ridden with both and this is impossible.
  19. ~80k miles. Fresh Michelin Commander 2 tires. Fork flush last summer. Ivan's ECU reflash performed by previous owner. Front suspension fork brace installed by previous owner. Brand new Mustang Touring saddle included (still have OEM saddles) and I have a few different windscreens to go with it. I have liners for each hardbag. New Yuasa installed last fall. I have a small collection of goodies, like stock grips, another rectifier and shock pump. Bike requires nothing but a new owner. Ready to roll.
  20. I remember the DTC getting dropped like a hot rock because I refused to play tour guide for them.
  21. You would think, but sadly the number is far fewer than 8.
  22. This entire thread makes me wish I was a homosexual living in a Pence-Utopian nightmare so someone would gimme, gimme shock treatments.
  23. How many martinis does it take before IP karaokes "Ice, Ice Baby"?
