Yep, he said it was actually spinning worse after the 60' then when he was launching since he was coming out so easy. He actually got his last 60-ft down to a 1.6 but then the car spun like crazy and he got out of it. Now that he has a few passes in the car I think tomorrow it will go quite a bit quicker. Jeff

I am not positive but I want to say 111-112 maybe?
-
Yes it is. I think Trails is too so we will be at one or the other as long as the weather is good
-
Yes he does. It was funny that the announcer at Kilkare mentioned it (And the cost of the cars) at least a couple of times. We are going to continue modding both cars this year and keep them until next March when he comes back from Iraq again Jeff

Tommy ran a little slower than normal in his TBSS (Low 13s) and even though I saw a few of his passes not sure what Steve's best was in the EVO (High 12s maybe?). Cavin ran a 12.x in the E55 and I think that was pretty much everybody. Jeff
-
The black C6Z I posted pics of ran 10.2 @ 136 with massive belt slippage his first pass in the car. He forgot to turn the traction control off so his GT500 "Super Snake" only went 12.5 @ 118 on its only pass. We hope to improve upon both numbers on Saturday. Hua took quite a bit of video so hopefully we can toss up some vids / pics soon Jeff

Dyno Results for APS Twin Turbo 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP
Turbotrio replied to DTM Brian's topic in Passing Lane
So you can get a GXP with an Auto? I thought they were all 6-speeds but I haven't looked into the "GXP" package much other than the LS3. Jeff -
Dyno Results for APS Twin Turbo 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP

All that hype for 530rwhp?? J/K Good gains for a bolt-on kit over stock for sure. I guess I just assumed Intense would have done the same set-up as the Auto-car to see the difference in drivetrain loss through the 6-speed. How much boost did the Auto car run in comparison? Jeff -
Since the Auto G8 GT did 723rwhp with the same kit I would guess the 6-speed should easily do high 700s at the wheels -- assuming its run at the same boost level. Jeff

Still stock bottom end? Intense build / APS TT Kit I assume? Jeff

Car looked / sounded great as usual Nice numbers and can't wait to see how she does this year. You coming out to Kilkare with us tomorrow? Jeff

Camaro #345 should be shipped to Maxton this week!
Turbotrio replied to LPFSTheFett's topic in Passing Lane
I could be wrong but I think they built/shipped the V6 cars first ?? I dunno, I thought I read that somewhere but don't quote me on it. Jeff -
I think its best thus far is in the mid/high 800's rwhp (855 I think) but that is on a "Stay alive at 200mph" tune lol. Gotta love blowers -- the engine actually moves more air than Mark & Jason's twin-turbo set-ups and yet makes 200+ less rwhp The car sounds so obnoxiously good I can't wait to post the dyno vids! Jeff
-
I would love to take some of it if it was ever here long enough to get all prettied up. I'll take some pics/vids of it when you come down to dyno Jeff

The turbo killed the engine last year and I decided not to bother with putting another stock crank back in it and have it happen again. Parked it all of last season waiting on the billet cranks to get done so the engine had a chance of staying alive. Now, as far as the previous 10 years go with my old twin set-up that is a different story lol Jeff

My VR4 -- Just one (GT4280R) of course as opposed to two of the tiny 9b's. Jeff

Here is mine now Vs the stocker: http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/GT42vs9b-2.jpg

I just did! I appreciate that. We typically can beat any internet pricing on just about everything so have them give us a call. Stop down anytime -- there is always something cool to look at Jeff

I won't be working on it (Or it will never run lol) but it will be out this year for a change I spent all last year waiting on our custom 3.4L Billet Crankshafts to finish up so now the engine is done and just needs dropped back in. We filled up our second 4000 Sq Ft building with cars in less than a week so I doubt it will happen any-time soon but it will be up and running at some point this summer. The 240 is still here but I think Eric (Z06) is going to put a 5.3L in it and Turbo it. We do so much LSx stuff now that it just didn't make much since to run a 2JZ 240sx as a "Shop" car IMO. We have had a built 2JZ block and CNC-ported Head and built TH400 ready for almost 2 years now so if anybody is looking for parts just let me know! We are going to do a "Shop car" if we ever get a spare 10 minutes to do any work to one this year but it will most likely be a G8 GT or C6 or something LSx-based. Jeff

We advertise on Corvette Forum but it is mostly "Word of Mouth" I guess. Mark & Jason's cars certainly have helped quite a bit in making us known nationally for sure. Apparently, having built/tuned the fastest Z06's in the world gives us a certain amount of credibility for those that have never heard of us before. Parts sales to the C5/C6 guys have picked up 1000% which is nice since we can ship to customers all over the world. It is crazy how many owners there are all over Europe and Dubai and UAE that mod the hell out of their cars. I will admit that some of the Corvettes coming all the way across the country to get work done when there are so many big/reputable shops around is a bit surprising but we are not complaining Jeff

What do you do when the bad-ass black C6Z is on its way back to Texas tomorrow and you kind of miss having it around? Get another one in from out of state for a blower kit and start all over again http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/PhilC6Zresize.jpg With all these cars coming in from out of state I need to get to some vette shows/meets around here and see where all the local cars are hiding lol. I almost never see them just driving around but there has to be quite a few in/around Columbus... Jeff

That is him. I got in touch with him yesterday so thanks for those that sent info via PM Jeff
-
All I know about him is that he used to work up at Byers (Chrysler maybe?) and got fired from up there and no clue where he went from there. If anybody knows him or knows how to contact him or where he might be working now I would greatly appreciate it. He drives a REALLY loud black Z28 Camaro that we did a Heads/Cam install on end of last year. Thanks! Jeff

I remember standing there wondering how close it would be with Mario "Off spray" and the race from a roll but then it wasn't lol. Fun night and the TB vid was worth the race for sure Jeff EDIT: That actually might have been the same night that Kenny gave me a ride in the newly-his T-type. It was just as fast as when it beat me on Charter with Nick driving it
