Ok, so my wife is super family oriented, like Brady Bunch shit, and they are great but the issue we run into is this time of year...she doesn't make nearly as much as I do...she stresses out on buying her brothers/wives and parents gifts. We have been together for 11yrs and married for 2yrs.... Its the same thing every year, I'm last on the list(she doesn't make a lot of $$)...I know her Brothers dont care if they get a gift, especially their Sugar Mama wives dont care...is that messed up or am I being selfish? I would gladly tell my fam to take a hike for gifts if I was poor so I could buy my wife things... Am I being irrational?

What Lauren needs to say, but can't without being a troll, is that they are ALL garbage teams this year. The BCS is a mess, teams moving all over the place, it seems most are either overrated or just young and un-experienced. I mean W. Michigan? Hell I think I saw Troy somewhere...it makes watching games much more exciting, but this is not a season for dominant powerhouse teams of yore. So many teams this year have just fallen apart into a shell of their former selves: Ducks, Sparty, Irish, Cardinals, etc. Alabama per Tide standard is just ok this year, previous years would mop the floor with this team. OSU is better than expected this year, but we still don't always fire on all cylinders and just like 'Bama, we'd get curb stomped by some previous classes. Do I truly believe the Big Ten or SEC has the best conference this year, maybe, but its not because of talent....the competition is just not there.

Meh, is Black Friday even a thing anymore? I mean unless you are middle aged woman. Electronics are so stinkin' cheap anymore and the stuff they peddle on BF is usually just stripped down less optioned version of the mainstream models. Maybe an SSD from Newegg...or something...don't really do much shopping on BF or CM.

The wife and I are looking to buy a house that my parents own, it's a very good deal with a lot of equity being transferred. The snag we are running into is that they are trying to push an appraisal thru in the next week or so, however, our lender is telling us that we need to correct any paint issues...which there are quite a few on the exterior of the house. We have wood trim that is just weathered away and needs attention, but its a 2-story house and not really accessible areas. I think its way more of a job we can handle and in such short time I doubt we can find a cheap crew to fix it...I really don't have the extra money to throw at it, especially near the Holidays and buying a new house. Does anyone know if that is actually something they will deny an FHA loan for? I was under the assumption it was for older homes with Lead based paints(ours is 1987)?

All Seasons for Ohio. To me its not worth having an extra set of tires or wheels/tires for our Winters. If we lived up North and got lake effect or something, then yea, I'd prolly have a set. Unless I come across some amazing deal I just run AS's. Just remember snow is not always bad to drive in, especially that puffy stuff....it's when its hard packed and ice that causes the major issues.
