  1. Correct. Mine was straight from FICO...
  2. Good info here. 833 credit score checking in...

    HF Compressors

I must have had bad luck with mine, I bought one years ago and it didn't even last a year. Went to fire it up one winter day and it crapped out. I never bothered to figure out why, just bought a nicer pancake-type one from Home Depot and it's been great.

    F-ing Tinder

Come on, every married guy knows you don't use Tinder in your hometown. That's road trips only...
  6. Most sites I've seen have backed off the 1-3 inches and are now down to about an inch. That will make the commute home on Thursday much easier, so I'm OK with it...
  7. Roads were slick up near Powell where I live, but nothing crazy. Since a lot of people are off today, the drive in was actually pretty fast. Mostly wet roads once I got south of the Zoo. I can't complain about that...
  8. I'm not seeing much on this storm anymore. Weather.com and Accuweather are only saying an inch or two now...
  9. What are you doing in Rochester? I was born there, lived there for 22 years...
  10. This morning was worse than yesterday. My drive from Powell to downtown took over 50 minutes...
  11. Shit, this is me too. I don't spend shit on cars anymore, meanwhile I'm buying up as much as I can in the stock market while everyone's freaking out and selling...
  12. This is the best winter since the one we had a few years ago where we got a grand total of 11 inches of snow for the season. I'm hoping we get less than that...
  13. Do you need someone to do an update for any of the sites, a web developer, etc.?
  14. I'm glad I haven't had any of the G8 issues that were mentioned earlier. I've put 30K+ on my car in 2.5 years with zero issues or rattles. My original intent was to drive it daily, in the winter as well, but the first winter I had it, it really got beat up. Rock chips, two curbed wheels, etc. So when I had the chance to buy a cheap winter beater last year, I did that and put the G8 away. Of course this means I have 3 summer cars now, but I don't care. I just care too much about the condition of my G8 to beat it up over winter again. But if you don't mind doing that, it's a great car that hauls 4 people with ease, has a giant trunk, and gets over 20 MPG as long as you don't hammer it all the time...

    NFL Thread

My problem with the Steelers - Bengals game, and this is coming from a Packers fan who has no stake in either team, was the fact that they threw a second flag in the end. I mean, what exactly does Jones do that warrants a second personal foul flag, which basically changes the outcome of the game? As soon as the ref makes the conscious thought that he's going to throw a 15 yard flag, he's now interfered with the outcome of the game and given it to the Steelers with an easy field goal. From what I saw, Jones never touched anyone, he was just running his mouth. And then you've got the Steelers coach out on the field, which is also against the rules, antagonizing the Bengals players. That right there also should have been called and so then you've got canceling calls and the Steelers are trying for a very long game winning field goal instead of the chip shot. Unless Jones was out there trying to kill someone, I believe as a ref, you don't make that call right there with seconds remaining. I have no issues with the previous call, that's just a dumb head hunting move.
  16. I didn't see it on here (unless I missed it), but the Toyota Yaris could be a good find. Near 40 MPG with the manual tranny and great Toyota reliability. My winter beater Cavalier just died on me, so I've been looking around for one to replace it...

    The Force Awakens

It was all right. Go read these 40 plot holes and then these 20 more plot holes if you really want to nerd out. A few of them I picked up on, but whatever. For pure entertainment, it was really well done. Just don't think too hard on it if you're a Star Wars Nerd...
  18. I believe this has been sold. It was also on CraigsList and they responded to me there about it being sold.

    Gas Prices

What?! That makes no fucking sense. So you're saying that if 87 was $1.50, 92 is $3.00?!
  20. Not my kind of car, but this is the first thing I thought of. Need pics of you doing this with it...
  21. I agree with this. I had a 2000 Navigator years ago and it crapped out on a drive back from vacation. Fortunately, it was within the last 2 hours of an 8 hour drive. Was expensive to fix...
  22. My Q is not smaller than an Expedition, but it might be smaller than the "L" Expedition. However, I can't fold all of the seats down like that. I looked at a newer Expedition, but after I saw the rust on the rear hatch area, I walked away. It didn't have that many miles on it and shouldn't have been rusting like that, so I'm assuming either a Ford defect or it had been hit. I'd look at a Sequoia as well, like someone said. Toyota's reliability is great, of course. I'd never owned an import (other than my first car, a hand me down Toyota Celica when I was 17), and really enjoy driving my Q. Some don't like the looks of it, but at nearly 10 years old, I think it still looks good. I'd say just get out there and drive a few things and see what you like...

    winter storage

That's a sweet deal, I'm assuming outside? They've raise the price on mine twice, but since I've been there so long, I'm able to keep my price. I keep my winter beater in there during the nice months, and one of the Mustangs in there for the winter. I'd love to build another garage, but that's just not gonna happen for a while...
