Ha! Yes, I left that wide open. I think for once the local forecasters got the storm yesterday wrong. They were calling for 1-2 inches up in Delaware, I probably got 3-4. The good thing was that the snow seemed to melt pretty quick on the roads, as they were just wet for my drive home...

For our 10th wedding anniversary, my wife and I rented a beach house on the North Shore of Oahu. It was really cool. Lots of waves in Hawaii. However, we went in June so it wasn't too rough. Not like the winter time. Forrest Gump 9's description above is about spot on for each island. I wasn't into Honolulu / Waikiki. Just too touristy / shopping. North Shore was much quieter and more "authentic". About the coolest thing we did was the shark cage snorkel out of Haleiwa on the North Shore. So awesome and you are guaranteed to see sharks. They start coming as soon as they hear the boat. Totally safe too. If I had to nitpick, I think Hawaii is great, but not from a "cost effective" standpoint. You're much better off going to an island in the Caribbean if you want a beach vacation. You're not going across a bunch of time zones, losing vacation time due to travel, and it's far cheaper. If you're into snorkeling / diving, it just doesn't compare. The reefs around a lot of Hawaii are pretty beat up. But I still think Hawaii is a vacation you need to do at least once...

Looks like our first decent "storm" is moving in on Sunday. I'm seeing reports of an average of 3" - 4" of snow by Monday morning. So I'm guessing we'll see about 1" - 2"...

To keep working at the same company I've been at for over 9 years now, I relocated to downtown over 3 years ago. I started the commute from Powell / Delaware in July and was surprised how well traffic moved on either 315 or 71. I could get to work in just over 30 minutes. But as soon as school started back up (OSU / Columbus State / Whatever), that added a good 10 minutes to my commute time. Shit just stopped. It blew, I was so disappointed. Since then I've gotten more creative in my commutes, using Waze and other paths (270 on the west side to 70, even Riverside all the way down to 670) and it's hit or miss. This year was no different. 30-32 minute commute times over the summer, but that week school started, back to 40+ minutes. Any day I get to work in under 40 minutes is a good day. I live really close to Riverside and once they get the 161 area totally done (specifically the road that goes under the bridge so I can avoid the traffic circle), I'm going to start trying that route again.

Bullshit, I don't drive three of my cars over winter. Fuck salt and snow. All of the V8 cars sit and I drive the beater... :nod:

Should be full squad, they don't have any other games that day, where as the split squad would show two games, one in each town. Since they would have already had cuts by Sunday, there should be more full time NHL'ers in this game.
