  1. This is the smartest thing Jones has said. Ever.
  2. Shit, I thought that was bigfoot...
  3. If you know the video this line is from, that makes this even funnier...
  4. While I too love to criticize everyone's pointless, self centered status updates, the reason I keep Facebook around is mostly to keep my non-local relatives updated on my kids. Grandma is in California, Grandpa in Michigan, and Uncle in Colorado. Facebook makes it easy for that stuff...
  5. Um, I do this with internet and a Facebook account...
  6. Not sure if it's the repeat of what I was watching the other day, but I was at the gym watching it and some chick was on, and at the bottom, they flashed that she had the "#1 Rated Snatch". I laughed pretty good...
  7. That's a good point, but if you're "older", you know it's time. Count me in for the "I'm having it done soon as well" crowd...
  8. Can't believe it took this long. I'll admit, I do text in my car occasionally, but at stoplights only.
  9. I bet you're a good bit better than most of those guys in D if you played high school...
  10. This was proved to be incorrect...
  11. I only run if I'm being chased...
  12. For those who don't know, the Friday morning 6:00 AM skates are a pretty high level, usually between A and C. So if you're starting out or lower level C/ D, I suggest you attend another one, etc...
  13. If you're there tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM, I'll be the short guy in the New York Rangers jersey...
  14. That's about what I paid, the $400 for two years. I'd have to look it up to be sure though. Urban Active is nice. I went to Lifetime in Dublin with my brother 2 weeks ago, he's a member in Denver and it's super nice. While Urban Active was a big step up from the YMCA in Powell, where I used to go, Lifetime is an even bigger step up from Urban Active. The rock wall, bigger gyms, and the pools, etc.. Not to mention I saw more eye candy there. But, he pays like $50 - $60 a month for a single and that wasn't worth the extra money for me.
  15. This right here. I did the same thing with Urban Active and paid $16 a month, for two years up front. If you know you are going to use your membership for two years, this is the best option...
  16. Mine were visible above that. My upper ones were...
  17. Nice! What's funny is that when I was overweight (I'm down 80+ pounds), I was still playing ice hockey. It wasn't doing much for keeping my weight down. My body was just "used to it". For me, it didn't start until I changed what I ate and hit the gym with regularity and really pushed myself. A total "life style change." Then the pounds came off. As I like to say now, "I go to the gym to stay in shape for hockey, not the other way around..."
  18. First off, congrats on the weight loss. Depending on age, the average is around 20%, give or take. And BMI is crock of shit if you're any kind of athlete, weight lifter, or the like. I'm not saying you're there now, but BMI is more or less setup for people that do nothing at all. According to BMI, at 5'8" and 180 pounds, I'm overweight. Yet last time I had a body fat % done, I was the 12% range...
  19. Call me crazy, but I like my privacy (hence where I live) and I'd be happier than hell if some neighbor built a fence like that so I didn't have to look in someone else's yard...
  20. Nothing against you or your current condition, but as you know, I was a fatty. Dropping nearly 90 pounds and keeping it off changes all of that...
