Some of you need to look at your witholdings after reading some of these responses. Why would you want to get such a large refund? Like Jones said "Larger checks to avoid giving the government interest free money". My refund will be little to nothing because I plan accordingly... :nod:

Me too. I didn't want to spring for Center Ice this year, so between the two Versus games, Blue Jackets games, and the three games NHL Network shows each week, I've got enough hockey to watch... :nod:

Savings I'm not so concerned with. I've got three months of salary saved up, I max out my 401K (and watch it disappear ), so really this is money I have to play with, and I don't often do that.

I've got some extra cash to blow, and I was curious to see what everyone thought I should do with it. Here are my options: 1. PS3 with a few games - I usually game with my PC, but they are starting to phase out some of my favorite games on the PC, and only offer them on a console. Like Madden, Force Unleashed, etc. I hear too may horror stories about the XBox360 and I have a few friends with PS3's that want me to get one. 2. Rims / Springs for the Cobra - I want some nice chrome rims and to lower the Cobra a bit. 3. Engine swap for the '86 GT - I've been kicking around the idea for a few years now about doing a Mountaineer 5.0 swap on my 1986 Mustang GT. I figured I'd better get one soon, before the "low mileage" ones are gone in a few years. The years for that motor were 95 - 01, so they are slowly going away from the junkyards. Swap in another cam, some headers, and it will be much more stout than the current near stock '86 engine I've got in it now. Thoughts?

I think I was in love once. She was Brazilian, or Chinese, or something weird. I met her in the bathroom of a K-Mart and we made out for hours. Then we parted ways, never to see each other again...

Man this sucks. I knew Brian from the early days of CR. He and I shared a love for '86 GT's. He was really happy when I bought mine. I had bought parts off of him as well. Great guy to talk to, a good Mustang pal. Very sad today...

Don't worry. They last about 2-4 weeks then head back to their safe couches...
