  2. Does Jeg's have docks to tie our boats up at? It's pouring here.
  3. If it was Geoff posting, I'd be dead sure that her last name was .jpg
  4. I prefer the actual show car from Dodge over that artist's concept. A Charger off of that platform makes a lot of sense, IMO. Overall, the new LH cars seem to be doing well. I see the 300 everywhere.
  5. 1. Suspension design more modern than the Queen of England's carraige 2. No room for children 3. Styling inspired by something other than a concrete block 4. Ability to survive collisions at racetracks 5. A turbocharger larger than my head

  7. Man, don't diss lawnmower racing like that. graemlins/nonono.gif

    owned pic

Ha. I know where that pic was taken. That's the intersection of Newport Coast and Vista Ridge in Newport Beach. Nice area. I used to live about 3-4 miles from there. tongue.gif

I think I bought a hot dog from this guy at the State Fair one year: http://www.youatemybreakfast.com/images/japan/bosozoku/DSC00171.JPG
  10. Yeah, Geoff wins. At least until Eli sees this thread. But he has a problem with Utah. http://www.world66.com/myworld66/visitedStates/statemap?visited=ALAZARCACOCTDCDEFLGAHIIDILINIAKSKYLAMDMAMIMNMSMOMTNENVNJNMNYNCOHOKORPARISCSDTNTXUTVAWAWVWIWY create your own personalized map of the USA or write about it on the open travel guide
  11. I wasn't there, but I heard the story so many times that I feel like I was. tongue.gif

    was up???

    I used to own a Mazda B2600 4x4. Worst.truck.evar.
  13. The thing is going to be hungry. Leave a big pile of steaks out somewhere and wait up on a roof with a traquilizer gun. Game over.
  14. Those are really excellent. Great spot for sure.
  15. It's a huge improvement. The stock EVO looks like it was designed by a 16 year old during study hall.
  16. Nah, this board isn't moderated the way it used to be.
  17. 6.8 million hits. Ebay must have put that auction on a server by itself. Woah.
  18. Do you guys understand what free speech is and is not? Let's try an exercise: Yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater where there is no fire. NOT freedom of speech. Logging onto Columbus Racing and spouting off your opinion that Bush is a moron and that the Iraq war is an international crime. YES, freedom of speech. Logging onto Columbus Racing and advocating the violent death of a senior elected government official, particularly a President or Presidential candidate. NOT freedom of speech. Yelling at someone in traffic that you intend to kill them because they cut you off. NOT freedom of speech. Yelling at someone in traffic that they are an idiot and shouldn't have a license. Rude, but technically freedom of speech. Now, here is a good one for all of you -- freedom of speech DOES NOT APPLY to students in high school. There have been numerous court cases on this issue, including in the Supreme Court. You can't wear a shirt to school with obscene messages, cigarette advertising, racist messages, etc. So I would take a wild guess that depicting the President being killed would also NOT be allowed in school. </rant>
  19. Return style systems that flow large volumes at a fixed voltage also have a nasty tendency to heat the fuel during extended drives. That of course changes the density of the fuel and can throw your tune off. I think that once the aftermarket is there in abundance, returnless systems are going to turn out to be simpler to upgrade.
  20. I had something similar happen once, and went out with a .357 revolver. That was a mistake. I should have grabbed the 12 gauge instead. Turned out to be some drunk kids being morons. They ran like hell, though. NEVER shoot without knowing for certain that your life is threatened, btw. Typically, just the sound of a shotgun being pumped will be enough to scare off your average slime.
  21. Ah, yes. Newsflash tags are reserved for Conservative or Republican politicians with contradictions. We can give Kerry a pass because he has "good intentions". tongue.gif The man has lousy taste in cars and bikes, btw. I think that it's more scandalous that he sold his Ducati to buy a Harley because of political reasons. That's really slimy to sell off a fine bike like that for a rolling oil leak just because you think you will get more votes. Boooo. Whatever happened to that guy who ran for President and showed up everywhere in his Viper? I can't remember his name, but he owned some kind of wheel company.
  22. Basically because they kept breaking well under the HP levels that L10 claimed, and when SP and PHR tore into them, discovered that the upgrades that were supposed to be there had not been done. Boostlogic has since developed a build for the Toyota four speed auto that's survived 9's and 10's in 800hp cars.
  23. Wow, MKIII guys trust Level 10? The MKIV crowd ran away from those clowns somewhere around the time that SP and Powerhouse sued them. If your venue is street car-type drag racing, and the auto you're talking about is a GM 400, powerglide, or 200R4, then sure, autos are great (real NHRA domestic pro classes don't use autos, btw). Any other venue and I'd rather skip the power loss, weight, cooling issues and frailty of an auto.
  24. Correct. Back in 1960, only one party did the manipulating (in Illinois). Wanna know who lost by not cheating? Richard M. Nixon. Now there is some irony.
