  1. I'd be deathly scared to drive a FWD car with a welded diff.
  2. mixed city driving is better for break in rather than constant rpm highway driving..
  3. What amazes me is that people will still vote for him.
  4. In defense of the 4AG, there are a couple out there making 350hp NA. I dont think a 3800 is making that bone stock. Sam, if you find an oiginal untouched TE2x chassis like that in decent condition they're dirt cheap.. 800-1500 dollars from an elderly. But ive seen them as high as 3-5k in mint condition. Check out Toyota3tc.com and see if there are any for sale right now.
  5. DHL actually sourced the coilovers and delivered them to the recipient.. finally, lol.
  6. Semi-flat black.. I don't want them to be glossy with powercoating, even if I can get them in a matte color. They're extremely cheap($400 shipped) and will be beaten on once I get to the track.
  7. Oh look at these.. they look pretty nice! http://a597.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/14/l_8d1be8755cdb8efea263bca1ae44e30c.jpg ...they lasted about 5 minutes http://a983.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/53/l_d6631b560689888148b8411a25d55cb6.jpg the teaser: http://a829.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/15/l_513c39a701bc5c306c85189a2912c824.jpg
  8. As title states, As long as there is 50% or more tread left I'll buy them, I don't care if they're feathered, cupped etc...I have cash in hand so please let me know ASAP! I'll come pick up the tires. PM me or call the cell 614.598.0529
  9. I better or I'll be going fucking postal..
  10. I wasn't shipping them, to myself lol.. I sent my coilovers out for a trade + cash for someones stock suspension.
  11. I went to Devry maybe a year or so ago, as well as my brother. I dated a couple bitches from NA, but went to Lincoln.
  12. Actually, it was for my infiniti.. Not that you could tell what car they were for by looking at them but they were probably 1 of 3 in the US right now.
  13. Well, I'm still waiting to hear back from a, "Tracking specialist" about locating the package. I don't need a tracking specialist to know where it's at. Obviously tracking shows it arrived in Jacksonville, where it had to be scanned BY HAND, to be put into the system. Now, where it went from the time it got there to now, I have no idea. Maybe someone swiped the package after finding out what is in it?
  14. lol, I REALLY wished I emailed this to them.. but it's just a rant.
  15. Dear DHL, I have trusted you and your services, through thick and thin, to get my packages to their respective destinations. Your prices are great compared to your competitors FedEX and UPS, you include tracking for free which is a blessing on its own, and you even insure my oddly shaped and sized packages without the bat of an eye lash. Now let me ask you why, in God's name, why would you lose the one package that counts most? I carefully packaged my coilovers with a declared value of $1,500 in a box that took days to find the right size. I even went as far as wrapping them in bubble wrap, packing peanuts and newspaper; you just had to fuck up and lose the 32x18x12, 98lb package. I'm sorry, but I'm affraid it's over between us. I'm glad I knew to never trust you and insured my package anyways. henceforth, I will be filing a loss claims form to get my FUCKING money back, while I will still have NOTHING to put on my car to get it back on the road, thanks DHL! You're an epic failure, Andrew Farkas
  16. Considering you're doing so much street driving, I'd go with the Tokico... especially since you're only going with the H&R springs. Bilsteins are the shit, and by the shit, I mean just about as good as it gets when it comes to dampeners. I would consider the Bilsteins with a much more aggressive setup, especially if you saw more track time but the Tokicos will suit your purpose just fine and you'll be happy you bought them. I have had great experience with the Tokicos and progressive springs on my old corolla, great combination.

    Cheap pizza

DING DONG. Ahh my pizza! here's your quarter, keep the change buddy. THANKS!
  18. Well, It's been a while because of my time, or lack thereof. I have been dealing with a stupid company called EuroImports, whom claim they sold me 20v 4AGE ARP head studs, but they didn't fit my head at all.. after much bitching back and forth I finally sent them back and demanded a refund. This went on for a good month, so really I haven't had much accomplished other than cleaning all of my parts and reassembling the entire bottom end with fresh OE Toyota parts. I picked up new rings, gaskets, valveseals, etc for the motor and went ahead and painted the valvecovers. I'm pretty set on the gold/black color scheme. Right now I'm actually at a fork in the road. I had hoped to get the car running before end of this year and the more I look at what I have infront of me, the less likely it's going to happen. The entire uncut TE72 dash/engine/chassis harness that I had lined up for this car was unfortunately lost by UPS, so now this has delayed me quite a bit since sourcing another will be a BITCH. Giving up the idea of getting it running by end of this year, I figure I'll take it easy, make sure I do everything the way I want, without cutting corners. I figure if I won't be driving it, why not show it? I'm picking up 16x8 XXR 513's and bombing them completely semi-gloss black, as well as touching up all the window trim and painting the hood black as well. Also I plan on sourcing an RX7 oil cooler and mounting it externally on the front bumper just how the retro track cars would have in the same era. Basically I want to get the car in a presentable form so I can atleast show it at HIN the 31st. http://www.motorsportsr.com/catalog/2008wheelpictures/513/513BK8H582.jpg http://a783.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/116/l_62bdf42be0f830e880c23c8f1b99d47e.jpg http://a108.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/72/l_1738eefe32377d4f0d8d452d1482e4c3.jpg http://a931.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/93/l_ed3bbf91e760e188ef252aaf0fbec2ba.jpg http://a348.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/65/l_c92a381acb3fccf500aa4e896830b343.jpg http://a267.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/73/l_5cd02c0580927c6e748b7e29a4bda85a.jpg
  19. Why wasn't the front door locked?
  20. its really not that hard. Deflate the tire, break the bead on both sides with your foot by laying the wheel on its side and stomp that ish. Use a pry bar and work the tire off over the lip of the wheel... That's really all that's to it. Ive taken tires off and installed tires this way fairly quickly when I didn't have a machine.
  21. You would, queer LOL
  22. I always owe gahanna when it comes tax time
