This body style was only manufactured from about 1979 to 1983, and just coming across one that's in decent condition is pretty difficult.. even so, finding what they consider a, "2-door sedan" like mine is even harder. I bought the car from Cali which was really my only chance of finding one without rust. Well, I made a little progess.. collected a couple parts along the way. I pretty much completely disassembled the entire motor checking just about everything. I din't find any problems with the motor itself, everything checked out fine.. cylinder walls, piston rings, main and rod bearings, head and etc all looked to be in the condition I expected of a ~20k mile engine. I'm just getting this thing completely cleaned up before I reassemble and drop it in my car because I'm anal about cleanliness. Also I have to make some provisions to head requiring me to dremel a passage in the head and blocking off the existing ports so that the water will properly flow since I'm converting the waterlines from FWD(in and out the back of the head) to RWD(in and out the front of the block). I'm calling fake, why? because the lighting on the top of the shark isn't also reflected on either body suits, their hair, any instruments that would indicate that type of lighting above them.

Coming from a person with lack of knowledge about human science, hasn't it already been confirmed by DNA that we evolved from Chimps and the like? Thought so. I believe Creationism is just a frickin story anyone with a bright imagination could've written in a book. Evolution on the other hand is quite factual.

Definately don't take it as pointing my finger at you directly. Not what I was trying to do by quoting you.. BUT, your comment did strike that nerve.

My post had nothing to do with that dude throwing that puppy of the cliff.. I don't even care that he did that. What I quoted was in reference of people essentially saying we should feel bad for the soldiers when they volunteered themselves to be put in their current position. I'm not denying the mental conditions apparent by heat and fatigue, it's going to happen.

Did a quick search on the boards and didn't really come up with what I was really looking for. I don't need any resurfacing or anything, just simply cleaned. I'm hoping someone can help me out, maybe toss the bitches in a parts cleaner bin or something, or maybe even recommend how I can get the block and head surface clean again without having to meticulously scrape it all off with a plastic edge. I thought a power washer and some light chemicals might do it, but I thought I would ask what other suggetsions people would make, possibly how much I might be looking at if I got it hot-tanked or something.. let me know.
