I'm a bit irked about buying my guitar.. I paid almost $250 dollars for my Greg Bennett Design Samik Redwood guitar about a year or two ago, I went to Music Go Round to see what it's potential worth still was, and they offered me $48 dollars for it.. I just laughed and left. I can't exactly play guitar myself, but I love the look of this guitar and would love to eventually learn to play on it once I have more time set aside.

Normally when you get a whirring sound when your clutch is engaged it's the throw-out bearing, however it could be something else.. hard to say without hearing it and inspecting first hand Carl. Good luck with getting your car running again though, I'm sure you're excited to drive it again since the weather is looking up.

lol, I'm just joshin' with you Jones.. you have been pretty laid back recently, but it would be kinda fun to take a stab at your new Audi.. I've had my eye on those since they came out, sharp lookin' car. SpaceGhost on the other hand always has something to say about everything... in a negative way. And the thing is, it's not just towards me.. but everyone. So much negativity and animosity, who made him a moderator anyways?

I should have my car together hopefully in the next month or two.. depends on how much time I have to get it done.

If you're putting a cage in the car, I would say you should avoid driving it on public streets for that very reason.. it's dangerous without a helmet

This is to the people a little skeptical about my swap.. MR2 has the 6spd box, but my car is MUCH lighter than the MR2. Also I'm assuming the ZX6-R is a 600cc bike? I don't know much about bikes, so eh.

Well, here's food for thought. Anything making over.. hmm say maybe 250 horsepower I'll have to spend even MORE money to replace the transmission and rear end to support that power, which to me seems like more time and money than I care to really spend to justify the end means. Not to mention, as ben stated, there is a balance you have to keep in a car.. I'm going for the entire fun factor of the car. You drive the absolute piss out of it, you don't have to worry about blowing it up, beat the shit out of it at an event and drive it home with no worries, not even a sweat. How about this, since you seem so skeptical.. I might be willing to let you either come for a ride or take it for a spin, possibly at an autocross or something, I'm sure you'd be suprised.

I don't have to replace anything, which is actually the great part. Just need a new bellhousing since my existing one is for a 3TC and drop this bad boy in once I change the waterpump.. everything bolts up like a stock 4AG would. BTW, that's two people that say it's not worth it because of the, "power." The car weighs, god, maybe 1700lbs with me in it. With a 4.77 ring gear it will be plenty quick, just not fast by any means. It's flat out going to be a REALLY fun car to drive, simple as that.

So, I was able to get $1500 out of my blown engine which seemingly had a bad turbo with a couple odds and ends that I have no use for anymore and picked up a couple new items. SOOOOO, I have a riddle for everyone: What motor did Toyota make from '91-'93.5 with VVTi, 5 valves per cylinder, put out nearly 170 horsepower and revved to 8500 stock with Individual Throttle Bodies, BUT never imported to the states? How about the 20v 4AG from a 1993 Trueno in japan running a Blacktop ECU and a MAP sensor harness? It's official. I picked up this motor for about $613 shipped to my door and found a .3mm head gasket to bump up the stock compression closer to the blacktops 11.1:1 from the silvertops stock 10.5:1. I sourced a Blacktop ECU and a silvertop harness which will be repinned to work with the MAP sensors and ECU.
