  1. How much are you willing to spend. I'd like to upgrade my system, but won't let my board go for a steal. - Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe - 4GB RAM - Large copper chipset cooler w/ fan (factory ASUS ones are garbage on this board) - Athlon 64 X2 4800+, dual core 2.4GHz, can overclock to 2.8GHz on air
  2. This shit just happened to my grandma. Except where she lives, it happened under the STREET and she was still responsible for it. Some rule the mayor changed a few years ago stating the property owners are responsible further than their property. 5k for someone on a fixed income is pretty harsh.
  3. XM sucks. I have spent time with XM (and have had Sirius for years), and it is amazing XM stayed in business. I am actually sad about the channel merger, as they decided to use XM's 80's channel, which isn't nearly as good as the Big 80's was. I did like the Squizz, but some of their lineup integrated into Octane, so now Octane is easily better than the Squizz ever was. Sorry, Sirius is way better, was before the merger, and still is after the merger.
  4. Once we sell the condo and get into a bigger house, I will have one. Among some other bar toys.
  5. Of course you do...you also have a big rice wing on the back. It is hideous.
  6. The perfect STI starts off with NOT having the rice wing hanging off the back.
  7. The tall decorative stand w/ the wine glass holder is nothing but hard stuff. The cabinet is all hard stuff, as is most of the stuff on the counter (we have crazy amount of counter space, which is why it will never be switched over to granite...too much $$). Big cooler is for whites/blushes. Small countertop deal is for reds. Small wine rack is mostly reds.
  8. Sadly, I have no true bar pics, as we still need to sell our condo and buy a house I can have a real bar in. But we still have some fun drinking toys in the condo: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=1140 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=1139 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=1138 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=1143 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=1142 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=1141
  9. The gov't shouldn't have gave GM a penny. Instead, they should have just gotten rid of the UAW. Made all UAW contracts null and void. Few strokes of a pen are far cheaper than 13 billion, and would actually be a HUGE factor in fixing the issue. GM then pays the workers a reasonable wage, and if they don't like it, then leave. Other failing companies are doing wage cuts.....
  10. They are GETTING RID OF the low-quality stream, that was free. If you want the better quality stream, you have to pay for it. I never used the online deal, so it makes no difference to me. I don't have the Best of XM package, because frankly, if that's the "best" of XM, I can't imagine how XM even stayed in business. O&A, Oprah, Golf, Public Radio...and somehow people chose XM over Sirius??!!
  11. I heard about this on Howard Stern today. I could only hope I would react the same way in this situation.
  12. Good luck. I followed the instructions given, have never been a smoker, didn't drink out of a straw, and got dry socket in both bottom sockets. Horrible experience.
  13. I must add that I've never flipped mine, or felt that it was top heavy/scary around hard corners. Mind you I am 6'3", 210lbs, so I have enough mass to move around on it. I also grew up riding a Yamaha 3-wheeler (early 80's 200cc shaft driven deal w/ the auto-clutch tranny). And avoid 01 Raptors.
  14. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/album.php?albumid=172 I love my Raptor. Just wish I got to ride it more. 04 660R LE. You can come over and check it out if you haven't been on one before; I only live a few minutes from you and Howard.

I don't often laugh out loud literally when reading stuff on the board...but this statement did it. Props. Seriously, it's a fucking pizza delivery boy, you should kind of expect that. It's not exactly a career field, ya know.
  16. And don't have to load a bunch of other crap, and deal with converting the ISO's, etc. Just burn and play without issues, that's it. Mod chips are cake to install and not that expensive.
  17. Works like shit. Mod chip is the way to go.
  18. Been around forever, but it has severe limitations, and is a true PITA to use. And you are stuck using an SD card for everything. Far better off with a mod chip.
  19. Odd, we bought our Wii from Best Buy (and it was a new stock of them) last November, and there isn't any Epoxy on mine. I am using a D2Pro9 chip...works great.
  20. Awesome. Someone needs to smack that broad.
