  1. My buddy sold his 88 CRX Si in 07. Suspension clunks like nothing else, 1/4 of the body was missing in rust. 210k+ miles. The car was so drafty it had black duct tape on it to make it liveable. Heater controls were all f'ed up. No radio. Listed it on CL for $800, sold the same day with tons of people calling. Sold for asking price; he should have asked for more.
  2. If you can do the work yourself and afford the down time, selling that exhaust and putting on a stocker, selling the auto, and selling the Mag wheels for some Z06's, should easily net you enough money to do a 6-speed swap. Then you have 14k into a 6-speed C5.
  3. Good luck. Any car that runs and moves under its own power will pretty much sell for at least $500. And that $500 car will have issues.

    Uverse

WOW offers 15Mbps down / 2Mbps up. Uverse seems pretty neat, and we almost went with it since WOW isn't available in our condo, but it is pricey and I've had a lot of customer feedback with it having issues.
  5. Ssshhhh, it's an uber secret problem, that can only be solved through PM. And I have 2 rear projection HD TV's...one a CRT, one is an LCD.
  6. The cheap Pioneer/Premier decks only give you partial control. The GOOD decks give you full control. Cheap head units are cheap for a reason. Mine lets me do pretty much anything I can straight from the iPod, from Playlists, selecting by song/artist/album/random, Top 25 favorites, etc...you name it. I've been very happy with it. This is what I have I bought it in the first 1-2 weeks it was released, and have been very pleased with it.
  7. I spent a weekend in Manhatten a few months ago. My wife was in NY on business, and we decided to make a weekend of it. FUCKING EXPENSIVE. My god, to live there, you'd have to make at least 4x what you do here to have an equal standard of living. It smells, too many freaking people, and many of the things I like doing just aren't feasable (unless you live a good distance outside the city, then the commute to/from work is insane). My wife could transfer there, but our discussions have pretty much ended in that we would go there if she got a BIG promotion over what she has now (and she has an awesome job), to the point that we couldn't pass up the $$. There is big money to be made in NYC. There is also a good chance of going broke. No thanks.
  8. WTF is with this "if you put slicks on the Mustang." If you paid a good shop to put a full exhaust on the Z06, big ass cam, tune it, and slicks...you'd still be at less money than the KR. And make a shit-ton more power. I mean, the Z06 only looks better, handles better, higher top speed, brakes beter, quicker in any acceleration test, costs less, AND gets better gas mileage. I guess the Ford has a back seat. You can make a claim that it is cheaper to get an extra 200-300HP out of the KR, but is it after the price difference? That, and the cost of making the KR do what the Z06 can do is far higher/hard to accomplish. Besides, the Z06 has the nicer interior, FAR more features (Nav, HUD, pocket key, autodimming mirrors, dual climate control, etc.). I don't get why anyone would buy the KR.
  9. SW has been in magazine after magazine; everyone used to know him for his Supras. He had/has a pretty bad-ass 2nd Gen Firebird too.
  10. http://www.canadamods.ca/store/index.php $85 shipped to your door. Even includes the tri-wing screw drivers (only thing you will need is a small Phillips, and a razor blade to pry off a couple of the stickers that hide a few screws). The first time I did it, I simply had the Wii in front of my PC, and did it along with their how-to video. Very simple to do. I can't image paying the guy above $50 for the chip and another $40 to have your Wii all hacked up, when you can buy one of these setups, simply plug it in, and if you ever wanted to remove it, simply unplug it. Any idiot can install one of these, and would take less time than driving over to drop your Wii off to have it done. Soldering may work...but why? The days of soldering Wii's is LONG gone. The Wii clip + your choice of mod chip is the only way to go. Edit: And before the "OMG, his is telling us how to copy games crowd" starts posting, the mod chip has a use a lot of people use it for exclusively - The Home Brew Channel. Allows you to modify your Mii's, play old-school NES/SNES games, llet's you use your Wii as a DVD player, etc.
  11. I bet that Fusion stuff is total crap. My Premier deck has full iPod control. My iPod stays in the glovebox, and the head unit controls it. Works very well. I doubt you would fine my unit used for that price, but I know Pioneer offers units that are a lower model that will run the iPod as well.
  12. Ehhh, those never look good. How the hell did your OEM ones crack? My 02 has 117k on the clock now, and hasn't been garaged, with no moisture in either.
  13. I can't imagine me ever suggesting for someone to go to a Toyota dealership.
  14. Waste of time backing up your games; just got to the Pirate Bay or any other decent torrent site and download them. Then you just burn the .iso. Usually takes 1-2 days for the game to download, depending on seeders, but every single game has worked so far without issues. Downloading Call of Duty now; hope I get a Wii Zapper for X-mas!
  15. Why the fuck are you messing with some lame ass rotary? Ditch your "I love getting fucked in the ass" body kit, then ditch your queer weed whacker motor.
  16. Just buy LT1_Edit or Tunercats and have someone tune it for you.
  17. It's X-mas, I'm out in the cold spending a pile of money on other people for shit they probably don't need. I'm dealing with line after line, tons of people, and crowded parking. Why would I give a shit about someone saying "Hey, how's it going" when you know THEY don't give a shit about how my day is going?
  18. Who cares who shows you the car. Go on the lot, look at it, and buy it if you want it. They are desperate for your business now anyway, so play hard ball.
  19. Already have a D2CPRO9 V3; from my research, the best chip for the later model Wii's. But none of that wiring/soldering crap; already pre-soldered in a Wii Clip - simple plug and play. $85 shipped with both tri-wing screw drivers from a reputable supplier, tested and firmware updated prior to being shipped. Once you do it once, will take about 10 minutes to do it on another one.
  20. Give me a break; this guy is somehow cross shopping a C5 to a LT1 Camaro??!! Equal miles/1997/condition, and the C5 will easily be 2+ times as expensive.
  21. I bought the $8 alarm clock for my brother. The one that is supposed to shock you. I'm a nice brother.
