  1. Ehhh, emissions legal, emissions shemegal. Too much money for too little power IMO. With what they were doing, a basically stock shortblock, bigger/better heads/intake/cam and an EFI setup would have resulted in bigger power w/ no effect on emissions. Hell, throwing in a stock LS1 crate motor would have resulted in the same power for less $$. Hell, for what their motor budget was, they probably could have went with an LS6 or LS2 crate motor!
  2. Overpriced junk IMO. You can get better sounding stuff for less money. Shop around.
  3. I think I raced that car last year. Fairly large exhaust tips, pretty loud exhaust, dark rims. He took off before I did, I caught up (off the bottle of course) without too much trouble, then the douche bad slammed on the brakes. Luckily my car stops fairly well.
  4. I think all the OSU fans wanted to play ND, so we got EXACTLY the bowl game we wanted. Explain how this is a bad thing. Please. Michigan boys still pussy hurt they got beat.....again.
  5. Damn; I was at my g/f's house drinking all night that night, so no driving in the stuff. I'm sure the Moostang woulda done fine with it's bald rear tires, being Z-rated all aroudn n' stuff. Made it through last winter, probably will this one too.
  6. Where are you coming up with 78k???? Fully loaded with every single option, including the most expensive paint option, w/ destination, is 72k and some change. And that's a TON of options not available on the Moostang.
  7. I was reading these comments before watching the video, expecting a close race. I wonder what mods were done to the Slowbra. Obviously not nearly enough!
  8. 98-02 is when they changed the nose/hood/front fenders/taillights/headlights. Also stuffed an LS1 under the hood for the V8 cars, and the weaker Tremec T56. 97 was the interior change which was w/ the old body style (not much different; digital odometer, light up knobs on the HVAC controls, and different center console).
  9. With as many hits that George Foreman has taken to the head, the on/off switch may have been a bit complicated for him. He was okay with plugging it in to make it warm, and unplugging it to make it cold. Variable temp is a good idea for one though.

Old, true, and belongs in the pics forum....moving.
  11. It sounded worse from the description. Lesson learned for you, don't swerve off the road to prevent hitting an animal. I might swerve into another lane if there isn't any traffic, but that's as far as I will go....and that includes deer. Besides, it's gun season right now, so Bambi might be long gone anyway. I saw 3 of the little f'ers in the woods driving to work this morning from my g/f's house in BFE. I stopped in time that even if they did decide to cross the road I wouldn't have hit them.
  12. Looking at the picture in the article, "she" might be a bit of a stretch. "It" would be more accurate, or "shemale." Yuck.
  13. Basically a gutted stock CRX in terms of power and weight. Nothing exciting.
  14. I can do the Formula's oil change without jacking it up, just sucks getting an oil pan squeezed under there. Pretty simply. The Moostang isn't so bad, expect the stupid oil pan has 2 drain plugs and the car is lowered. The Jimmy isn't too hard, except you need a screwdriver to open the access door to the remote oil filter. Of course, that's just regular ol' American cars for ya.
  15. They don't even look like K-cars. It is pretty much a re-badged Mitsu Starion (wasn't sold in the US). Not really anything to do with Chrysler at all, other than some badging. Niffty car, tempermental motors.
  16. Yeah, .12 is pretty damn low. There are other personal units that go a lot higher than that though.
  17. My roomate downloaded a bunch of her videos. She doesn't look as chunky in most of the ones he downloaded. Good song: Sponge - Molly (Sixteen Candles). That whole CD is good. And I'll be moving this video to the Pics and Videos forum and adding a NWS icon.
  18. That's not a house. That's too big to be a mansion even. I'll accept either castle or city!
  19. I think if you paint it all black (including the trim ring to the HID light, and behind were red overspray shows up that you don't have covered) it will look a lot better. A piece of Lexan over everything might make it look better as well. I think HID's would be nice to have on my car, but the work, and more importantly, the cost of doing so isn't worth it at all to me.
  20. I gotta go drive 1.5hrs+ right now (the + is for snow time/traffic). I'm less than thrilled. Then gotta drive back.
  21. No hints yet. Actually, we usually don't know until the public finds out. But there are a few cable technologies out there that are being kicked around that should be pretty sweet. Just have to wait and see what they are willing to spend $$ on.
  22. I bet $20 that Anthony won't be able to dyno over 850 RWHP on properly functioning, non-converter flashing it up, accurate reading, Dynojet chassis dyno any time in 2006. I'll will make one bet with one person, and it can't be Anthony, as that's no fun. I will not be dynoing 850 RWHP either.
  23. I've got one of those in the garage too. Only it still needs assembled, and isn't a Ford.
