Replace the plugs.
Had the same issue when I put my crate motor in my boat. Plugs came with it, gapped correctly, looked good, but were for some reason bad. I rebuilt the carb, cleaned the whole fuel system, rebuilt the fuel pump, went through the ignition system...all the while, 4 cheap plugs fixed it all.
I used to be a fan of AMD, but Intel is really where it is at.
You are building something that is a bit dated too. All the new stuff runs DDR3. Unless you are building something that needs to be small, you will likely be unhappy with a Micro ATX motherboard.
Toyota has been talking about the Supra for years. Instead, they build boring cars, some pretty decent trucks/SUV's, and leave anything worthwhile to Lexus. The last "sports" car Toyota sold here was the MR2 Spyder, a sad replacement to the MKI and MKII MR2's.
07 Camry 3.5: http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/reviews/rt2530b.shtml
60-0 126 feet.
05 A4 (though really 06 from pics/descriptions): http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/reviews/rt2434.shtml
60-0 125 feet
Show me direct comparisons from equal sources. And there is more than just 60-0. Brake fade, feel, stops from higher speeds, etc all play part in breaking.
HP/Liter is lame. It doesn't consider the packaging of the engine. For instance, a 32V 4.6L Ford motor is physically larger than a 7L LS7. I don't care if a motor is 20L, power output + fuel usage + packaging are the truely important factors.
I like this, but I would but the importance as follows:
5 - this is by far the most important...more than all the others combined
6 - we need to own our own country
4 - though this could really be combined with #5
1 - does anyone think we will see a penny of that money?
2 - nice idea, but not nearly as important as the above
3 - another nice idea, but I would delete #2 and #3 in a second to get #5.
You are now quoting 0-60 numbers. That's good for a nice high school argument. I'm surfing on my phone so I'm not going through the hassle of find real world numbers...not that I care about the peformqnce of either car. In 08 when my wife was looking for her car we drove about every sedan in that price point you can name...the Camry didn't even fit in the top 10. Bland, FWD, the interior is not as nice. Not a bad car, but not a top choice...likely more reliable though.
Why you keep bringing up my truck I have no clue. When you show me that Camry doing any of the functions I bought my truck for (towing and hauling, which I do often) then we will talk. I sure hope your Camry has a nicer interior than my Formula...roll bars and harnesses aren't all that fancy or comfortable.
I never refered to any of our vehicles as bad-ass...I just said the Camry is not.
How the fuck did I back peddle? The Camry is going to be faster than my 3 ton truck...there is a shocker. My wife drives what is either the slowest, or at least 2nd slowest B7 made. My Formula doesn't run, and I wouldn't waste the gas on a Camry of it did.
So yes, right now I have nothing that would straight line on pavement running to outrun your Camry.
When did mine run 14.5 stock? I never ran mine bone stock. I did watch Tommy run his 96 stock do a 13.9 in the heat. Mine ran low 11's before pulling her apart. My wife's Audi isn't run ing 15 flat with a tail wind. Maybe 16 but that's about it.
The Camry isn't bad ass, please understand that.
Wife has a B7 2.0t Quattrocento
Formula is still in pieces. Not that your Camry had a shot when the Formula was stock 10+ years ago. I will reassemble her some day.
My wife's Audi is a turd stock...good enough for her though. With a reprogram and down pipe it would be a different story, but she won't let me do performance mods to it. I guarantee it handles and stops better than the Camry, and the interior is nicer...different price point and type of car though (Camry is a little more roomy with a little more cushy of a ride).
Avalanche...come on, it's a near 6000lb truck. I bet the Avalanche can out tow the Camry...way too Apples to Oranges.
But the Camry is no bad-ass, just face it. Nice, conservative daily drive = exactly what it was designed and sold to be.
Only thing sucky about the 3 series is the interior...just not up to the standards of the competition IMO. But they drive and handle nice.
Ben, there is nothing bad ass about a Camry, lol. Nice daily, NOT bad ass.
I can't donate again until the end of next month since Mexico is on a 1 year ban, and I went there last year.
Too bad too, as I have O Negative, and that is always in demand.
It took me under 15 minutes in that shit hole of a lake to destroy my prop to the point I could barely go over idle.
First and last time I will ever go there. We did sneak into the Moose lodge and drank some cheap beer there.
Look at the history books. GM has been doing mid-engine Vette prototypes since the 70's. Even did a Rotary prototype (GM was smart enough not to go with a Rotary). This will never happen.
