motor pulled from VR4MEs car in cleveland. Very reputable guy on the 3s board (sells turbos and numerous other things to members).

 

Chassis has 150k miles.

Car sat for about a year at the previous owners farm down in lancaster. He drove it 1 time and the engine spun a rod bearing. StealthMonkey showed me this car, and was actually listed for sale on CR a while back.

 

I bought the newly installed engine from one of the most respectable owners and parts sellers on the 3si.org board.

 

What it has:

The car has been cleaned up, engine bay cleaned, has lots of new gaskets all around. New battery. New stock clutch. Has 3" ATR downpipe and gutted precats, and no main cat. Also included will be the S-AFC (gen1) installed. The stock turbos are fine, they dont blow smoke. For being stock, the car is actually impressively quick. The tires still have plenty of tread left, and the brakes look brand new still. 1G DSM bov also installed, as the stock bov leaked horrible.

 

 

What it needs:

It needs a front bumper. It was smushed in (have no idea how). The fender needs replaced, but I have a white fender to replace it, no worries. It does NOT come with a radio. Could use new windshield whipers smile.gif

 

Either I get rid of this thing now, or Im going to spend a boat load on it when IPO releases their TD05 header and o2 kit

 

Money goes to a class I need to take, that only has 4 openings left for the YEAR. Send me to school.

700lb leg press is not much. I just pressed that 2 nights ago, and was the first time Ive lifted legs in the longest time. 7x.

 

When people are leg pressing over 2000lbs these days, the chump weight we do of 700lbs to 1000lbs seems like childs play.

The fact that your speedo MAY be off isnt going to get out of a ticket.

 

The arguement you DO HAVE... if you strongly believe that you did NOT go over 70mph, you can request to see the radar guns calibration papers. As the radar gun may be off and not your speedo. If he fails to produce the authentic papers, then you'll be off.

 

The fact the the trooper wrote down incorrect vehicle information may be in your favor as well.

 

I would certainly count on the officer showing up.
