  1. Because of the home buying credit I'll probably get close to 10k back. Sure beats the 2k I had to pay last year. I need to get my home theater furniture (berkline 3 seater power recliners and two sofas). The rest will go in my savings. May screen in my back porch. I was going to get granite counter tops, but I may wait.
  2. Dunno if I'm past it, but since I work on 900 hp engines every day that kinda burns you out. I do plan on getting a 2011 mustang, but I probably won't mod it. Just a little exhaust and intake. I still want to have a project car, but I've been focusing on getting my home theater done first.
  3. C3's or D3's? We have a lot of parts we need to get rid of since we're switching to the FR9. We have a whole parts store dedicated to it.
  4. I live in the state that I want to live in. Of course I could always use a nicer place though. There are some other countries I wouldn't mind living in.
  5. If I was Bob Barker I would be pissed they bought that boat. They should have bought some retired Navy ship or something. I'm sure the Russians would sell them an old frigate or something similar. The fact that they bought that boat was more to show it off them for practicle use. Kind of like giving a family with 5 kids $30k to buy a vehicle/minivan and they come back with a mustang.
  6. Haven't been in a new Ram. Just the Toyota and Chevy.
  7. Is it a work truck? There is a night and day difference between the lower end and the higher end models. My bosses 2010 F-150 Platinum is beautiful on the inside. Much better than any other new truck I've been in recently.
  8. I prefer the subtitles rather than making everyone speak english. Much like how Das Boot is way better in german with subtitles.
  9. To get around local codes you could plant leyland cypresses on one side of the fence. These evergreens make a great natural fence and can grow 4-5 feet a year. Uncontrolled they can grow 75+ ft.
  10. I had one compromised when I had them too. Two months later someone stole $3500 out of my account... with the new card. Sucks because I had bills to pay and had no money for 2 weeks. I had to get by on my credit card. Switched to 5/3 after that.
  11. No real plans other than staying barricaded in my house surrounded by my weapons. If the powers on I'll just play video games and let everything play out for awhile before deciding on what to do.
  12. I'm guessing the base price will be 30-31k with the preium around 35k. I should be able to get a GT premium with track pack (low rear gear and brake upgrade), and hids for 32k. I'll be first in line for one in Kona blue.
  13. I love my ps3, but it has had it's share of problems. I hade to replace the blu ray laser about a year ago and the latest 3.01 firmware update makes movie playback skip every once and awhile. Hopefully the next update fixes the issue. Other than that, it has been pretty solid since owning it from launch.
  14. God dammit. A7X is one of my favorite bands.
  15. This thread sucks. Start a new thread if you want to argue about turbos and audi.
  16. I would get a certified inspector too. It will cost 350-500, but it's worth it. I bought a new house and he still found a few little things for the builder to fix.
  17. Daily limit on your debit? Fuck that, if it's debit you should be able to have access to your money any time you want. I'd change banks. I've used my debit for $2500+ puchases, but now I use my credit card and pay it off right away. That way I get the points.
  18. New Hampshire still has two races. Kentucky will get a date. Nashville doesn't have enough seats, memphis will never get a cup date, Iowa has a better chance.
  19. Danica's just scared. She wouldn't bump draft anyone. Which is the only way you're going to the front at Daytona. I can't wait to see her get humbled. The ARCA Daytona race is always a wreckfest. I wish Cup would add more road courses. They are easy on the engines.
  20. Most people have already hit on the important stuff. Before you start looking, go into the bank and get pre-approved and discuss your loan options. Have all the necessary paperwork ready upfront. It makes underwriting much quicker. You can usually push hard and close in 30 days. Most close in 45-60 days. Don't feel obligated to spend the entire pre-approval amount. If you have good credit you'll probably still get pre-approved for an amount that will still stretch your monthly income. I was approved for $240k and only spent $195k. $200k was really my comfortable ceiling. I still got a sweet house, but I also still have lots of money each month for my savings/spending. Don't be afraid to go through a few realtors until you find the one that really knows what you want. I did a lot of my own research and used my realtor to hammer down the prices and open doors.
  21. I'm poor so I only have a Tag Heuer F1 that I wear everyday. Would like to get a dressier watch sometime soon after I finish my home theater.
  22. Woohoo. I'll have to get it this weekend. 1080P projector w/ 106" screen + logitech G25 and racing seat = endless hours of fun.
  23. Most HSA's roll over. FSA typically do not.
