  1. Awesome. This definitely belongs in that thread about people "stuck" outside the building because the door didn't automatically open... ..."Is funny because people are gullible"... http://tvmedia.ign.com/tv/image/article/987/987014/fouad-fg-pic1_160_1243454678.jpg
  2. This, fo' sho'. Second, maybe Fast Racing out on the East Side. I'm not sure how much specifically LSX stuff either of them build but they both seem to do a pretty diverse mix and have a good rep.
  3. Overuse of that gif makes Earl sad... http://i.ytimg.com/vi/FrtBYLIKGGY/0.jpg
  4. Not really. I'm not a fan of wheat beers at all, or most fruit beers for that matter, and I kinda liked this stuff. It's not a wheat beer though, just a fruity lager.
  5. Judging by the color and part number prefix, they're probably the Pro-Kit variety.
  6. The socket trick usually works fine, but if not you can probably borrow a ball joint/UJoint press from a parts store. They're particularly nice to have if the caps are rusted or just being stubborn.
  7. All of this (except the hate )... with the addition of the fact that what has always been the major upside of owning a car that everyone has is that parts will be plentiful and cheap in no time. If you care about exclusivity - never buy a Mustang. If you don't give a shit about that I see no reason not to buy if you have the means and like the car for your personal needs/taste. EDIT: Not to mention that this guy has probably driven WAAAY more new cars than I and is not already a Mustang fan. I have seen a lot of that lately. It's a game changer for sure.
  8. This would certainly be the cheaper/easier route.
  9. True story. I'd seriously consider one if I was in the position to afford a new car. This coming from a notorious Mustang squirrel is probably no surprise, but seems like a very solid foundation - probably the best ever. They are a bit heavy if I had to criticize anything but it makes a fair amount of power and they seem to respond well to mods. Go drive one. I haven't yet, but I've seen at least 2 people that I never would have expected to own a Mustang buy them recently. All it took was a test drive and they were hooked. Pros: Good suspension design (not cutting edge, but modern-ish) Good power/modability Nicest "pony car" interior I've seen yet Still has that Mustang sound... Great brakes, with 14" Brembos available right from the factory Cons: Weight Price (not ridiculous, but the added "niceness" certainly isn't free) EDIT: also, bear in mind that if you ante up for the Brembos you'll probably want some all-seasons on another set of rims for winter and they won't be cheap in 19". The stock tires on the upgrade wheel are not really a good choice for winter.
  10. +1 Seriously though, I was really impressed with the interior. If you have the cash to option it out with the Brembos it would make for a pretty bad ass DD/weekend racer starter kit. A guy I work with just bought one and he loves it so far (only about 2 weeks in).
  11. I actually started out with the good stuff (Dogfishhead 90 Minute IPA). The Hurricane seemed like a good idea at the time... Not so much now.

  13. Seems too retarded to even be real. For the sake of humanity I hope someone hijacked her account and is just effing with her.
  14. ORLY? http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSk3nTO4qiFaHAFF0VXz7KLSF0Lz7zNgDVA8SmWoPl1UqWa8Zk&t=1&usg=__cGnEFZiSQtRWun_YWN2dx4LUYRs=
  15. Yeah. I also think the Captivate is a nice compromise in size. It's super thin and big enough to watch vids without being huge. The Evo sized phones are a tad big (L x W) for my liking. Edit: That being said, I still don't regret purchasing the IP4 at all.
  16. A guy I work with has the Captivate. I remember he found that he couldn't "side-load"(?) apps and a few silly things were blocked but it was pretty minor. I'm not really an Android guy. I think Kickass could probably better explain.
  17. I agree. The Fascinate is basically the same phone (Galaxy S). If I wasn't already coming from an iPhone I would have seriously considered the Samsung. I actually looked at the Aria a bit also but decided I'd remain an iPhone loyalist for now.
  18. Samsung Captivate is nice. Probably one of my favorite Android phones. The HTC Aria looks decent also, but it's not quite as nice (cheaper though). If you like the iPhone platform, it's only $100 more for an iphone 4... I like it and I'm definitely not an Apple fanboi. I'm not a fan of iTunes really and the lack of simple OTA updates, but it's not a bad platform.
  19. This. I had a 8G 3G also with a ton of apps and it was only about half full. I don't listen to alot of music on the go, so I only had a hundred songs or so and no videos saved. My IP4 is a 16G and is only about a quarter full, even with a few HD movies and several hi-res photos saved on it. Again I don't have a ton of music on there either, but if I added all of my MP3s it would still be about half full. Depends on your specific storage needs.
  20. I dunno. There's not really any detailed info on how it went down to get a feel for their mindset. You're probably right though. It's probably best as a witness to just call the police and steer clear, but sometimes that's not quick enough for the victim. I guess you have to decide on the spot if it's worth the legal risk of getting involved.
  21. Seems to be good stuff. If you go that route - Follow the directions. I used the sampler pack on the bottom inside seam of my Jeep doors. The directions are very specific on how to prep the surface, but I'm lazy and just cleaned it and smeared the coating on. It still did a decent job in the last ~year I have had it on there but some of the worst spots are starting to spread a bit. I know another guy who used it for the same thing, but prepped it per the instructions, and his is holding up fine.
  22. Edelbrock 9680. $48.00 at JEGS. I actually had an extra unused set laying around at one time, but I must have lost them in my last move or sold them and forgot.
  23. My guess is that they are not ready for market yet and thus haven't come up with a final price, or they are so bad at creating web content that it hasn't occurred to them. The first paragraph made my brain leak out of my ear hole. All caps, and suspiciously repetitive. "Head on - apply directly to the forehead, Head on - apply directly to the forehead,"
  24. I think there's room for both. I enjoy both car related content and "the Lulz" and I think most users probably do. "Columbus Racing - Come for the content, stay for the Lulz" What's the Romper Room for anyway if it isn't for playing around?
