  1. How about this Kyle, don't worry about it. Just slap a huge single on there, add a shit load of fuel, and call it a day.
  2. What exactly do you mean pouring out into the atmosphere? Where is the air comming from? I hope you're not talking about from the top of the BOV, because that is supposed to be routed back into the intake.
  3. The inline pump doesn't have to "overcome" the fpr. Under load the fuel pressure regulator is already reducing the flow of fuel back into the fuel tank which increases fuel pressure. The flow of the pump is constantly at it's peak output unless 1)voltage to the pump is insufficient (hence the reason DSM owners re-wire their fuel pumps) or 2) fuel pressure is too great for the pump to overcome. The stock pump doesn't have to "overcome" the flow of the fuel pressure regulator, and neither does an inline pump. An inline pump merely maintains the flow of fuel at fuel pressures where the intank pump cannot by itself. It does not increase the flow capacity of the system beyond what the intank pump can handle. An inline pump cannot create volume. It cannot flow more volume than what it being supplied to it from the intank pump. To be honest, I didn't read your calculations because it wouldn't do me any good as it's probably over my head. However I do not need to know them in order to realize that you cannot produce something out of nothing. If the inlet of a inline pump is recieving 255lph of fuel it cannot flow more than 255lph of fuel at the outlet. Therefore it cannot increase the overall flow of the system, it can only MAINTAIN flow at pressure! There is a huge difference! No mathematical equations will change that! FMU's suck and so do inline pumps. tongue.gif PS This is Ricky, douche bag forgot to logout.
  4. How about you just replace the injector o-rings and fix the problem the right way?
  5. Recently it came time to order the parts to fix my car. So, I went to IPS Motorsports and ordered an HKS metal headgasket, ARP head bolts and a turbo timer harness. I ordered the parts on Feb 2nd, a Monday. Well, to my suprise I get a call at work from Ricky telling me my parts were in that following Wednesday on the 4th. Naturally I was extremely inpressed with the promptness and accuracy of my order. I will be ordering all my parts from IPS. graemlins/thumb.gif
  6. Maybe you should try checking the ATF. It being low would cause shifting problems.
  7. www.ipsmotorsports.net They're very close to OSU.
  8. If you do a search on Honda-Tech.com you can find a place that you can download the service manual from in PDF format.

    What tires?

If you want some damn good tires, get some BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW's.
  10. 7M-GTE > 1JZ-GTE without a doubt. Like Joel said, the extra 500rpm isn't worth dumping the .5 liter. Plus, I'd take the single turbo setup of the 7M over the twin setup on the 1JZ any day. And if everything checks out on that MKIII your friend had better buy it, or he'll be kicking himself in the ass later on for not jumping that deal.
  11. Hhhhmmm....spun crank bearing....don't know where I've heard of that before. Yes, that's one thing that's can be an issue, but it's not all that common. But the HG is another story. I've been there and done both of them with 2 different MKIII's. But all in all, they're great cars and I love them. You can put down alot of power with them as long as it's done right, and not done cheap. My suggestion is get an 87-89 turbo and put the 90-92 tail lights on it. Then when you want to start modding, go with a K&N, 3" DP and a 3" exhaust, then get about 6 washers and shim the wastegate to run around 12psi of boost. Any more mods than that and you're going to need a Lexus AFM, S-AFC, 550cc injectors and a turbo upgrade.
  12. Get a Nissan one. OEM parts like that for imports are better than the aftermarket ones.
  13. PM bigbabyjesus and talk to him about it.
  14. I've never wired one before, but I know where you can buy one for a decent price. Bigbabyjesus' little brother has one that he's more than willing to sell.
  15. Since the suspension is completely stock, why does she need a camber kit? If the car is having camber issues just take it to a dealer and have them adjust it.
  16. You could have a torn diaphram in one of your wastegates. And also, your one of the springs in one of them might need replaced.
  17. You should try taking them back and getting the right ones for your car.

    PC Help

Buy a TDK burner and try again. Not only do they come with the latest version of Nero, but they all have the buffer under run protection. But if you're not going to buy a new burner, then slow down the write speed.
  19. If you still have the instuctions for it, I'm sure you could take it to an Alpine alarm dealer and get them to program it for you. Also, you could try to e-mail Alpine's tech support about it.
  20. I say go with Faulken Azenis, they're super sticky and if you do get caught in the rain they are pretty good in the wet. And if you don't mind spending the money then definately go with the BFG G Force T/A KDs.
  21. It's illegal for them to pull you over for anything less than endagering others here in Ohio. What you saw was more than likely an undercover cop. We used to have them meet up in our parking lot at my one of my old jobs all the time to plan busts. There would be like 3 or 4 of them driving Crown Vics, Tarus', and Explorers.
