  1. Berto lives in Indiana south of Indianapolis so it would probably do us no good anyways.
  2. is right. You know what their names are. I'm giving it 50/50 that these guys really 'feel' their music. Especially after having been singing about this stupid shit for 20 years? The people that actually listen to this music on the other hand are never going to be productive members of society. I tried to go to a show at the basement, but it was sold out. There was an ICP concert at the LC and I was worried for humanity walking around all of those people.
  3. Only 1, and I heard he went to manage a Bob Evans. This is Jesse, friends with Ben and all of that group. You know me. Glad to see you on here, nice car!
  4. We've used this place once so far and were not disappointed. Went to a new place at Spring & High called Bario's. Ate some good Tapas and had a bottle of wine. Basically you spend $5 and get a $10 gift certificate or $10 and get a $20 gift certificate. The amount is preset and depends on the place. More expensive places usually do the $10/$20 and less expensive places usually do the $5/$10. All local places, so supporting small business and the local economy. The people who run the site find local restaurants and go eat there to check them out before they make a deal with them. Maybe the best part is every time you buy one, they donate $1 of your payment the the Mid Ohio Food Bank! They have a limited number of gift certificates for each place and they can sell out. They are sold out of the last one right now and the next one will be up on Monday at Noon. The certificates are sometimes limited (i.e. can't go on Friday or Saturday during dinner rush) and expire after a month or so. The terms are clearly stated when you buy them, so there should be no surprises. Really cool way to go try new local places, save a few bucks and support the food bank. That's a win-win-win in my book. http://www.fudha.com/signup/3747 Full disclouser, if you click on that link, sign up and buy a gift certificate, I get a few bucks in my 'account' to purchase the gift certificates.. If you don't want to do that you can go directly to http://www.Fudha.com
  5. Hmmmm, not quite what I meant by local, lol. But unimaginative people and old people need their food/salt, so you do still offer something to society. Wait... is this the Matt that used to work at Leaping Lizards?
  6. +Eleventy. Nice meeting you Gabe and Ben. We'll have to do another soon. I'll be there today at 10 with some others friends I ride with if anyone is interested.
  7. Probably around 45k/yr. Don't quote me on that though as I don't really know, just a guess. You probably have too much experience. They like to get fresh out of undergrad usually. Do you have a degree? So far they've required engineering degrees. Mechanical versus electrical probably isn't a big deal. Everyone in my direct group is an ME and we probably do more ME type of work, but I'm an EE. This job posting is more EE/programing. PM me if you have more questions and we can chat if you are at all interested.
  8. Welcome, +rep. Good intro. Do you mind divulging what restaurant you manage? We (me and the misses) are foodies and usually eat out a few times a week, but we much prefer non-chain/locally owned places.
  9. Throw some in the bank for saving for a down payment on a house, put some into investments. Then take a few grand and buy a toy/some toys. Basically spend some, then take the rest and save half/invest half. This is after paying any existing debts, i.e. car, etc.
  10. Phil, that sounds like a better opportunity anyways. But that also means having to move to the greater Detroit area. If I were interested in that part, I'd look into them.
  11. Hung over... but alive... I'll be at the trail head by 10:30.
  12. Shoot me a PM and I will get you in contact with HR if you seem legit. It's open now, well after tomorrow.
  13. With where that hit you're lucky you didn't fuck up your eye or socket!
  14. So was the other party not admitting fault/saying your sister was at fault? Sucky situation. I say file it with your insurance company for them to fight it. And pick up the accident report, being whatever steps are necessary to correct any discrepancies on the report (this could cause insurance issues?) and file a complaint on the officer. I agree with you that you guys shouldn't pull the race card unless it was blatant, impossible to prove unless he said something. If he does this often and it's race related, it will show up in his complaint records and probably be pretty obvious.
  15. OMFG 1980's 'digital' gauges are so awesome. Why don't they still make those in new cars.
  16. Calling Howard to have him will his Supra to me.
  17. Butter-fly band aids are your friend.
  18. Who the fuck gives that two bit paper the time of day anyways? Oh, the Dispatch printed a 'shitty' story again. You're surprised? EDIT: Avenger beat me to it.
  19. Do what you gota do, you need to get that bike together before you can ride. Just let me know when is good and I will make my way down there sometime. Maybe drag some of these fuckers down there.
  20. I never assume, unless I know it's been dry. I always check combomtb.com It very well may be wet. Everyone who might go should check that website on Friday night and we can make a decision then. Supposed to rain more mostly tomorrow. If I can't go on Saturday I will try to go on Sunday morning. In case anyone else wants to go then. That'll give it one more nice sunny day to try and dry out. Let's keep Saturday for now and reassess on Friday night.
  21. I didn't ride or run much last year, I'm pretty out of shape right now... so no. I'm thinking about doing a bike packing trip from Cincy past London though so I will need to get to that point if I want to do that. I more meant from a mechanical aptitude side of things, you must not have meet me before. IMHO if you can't figure out how to do 90% of the work on your own bike, you should never touch a car.
  22. Lol, we must have never meet before have we? I've been working on bikes since I was in HS. Not that I'm that good, but I know how to change a tire...
  23. We don't wear spandex here, start your own thread. Might put some 'skinny tires' on sometime, if I do I will join. Thinking about doing a long ride later in the summer so I could use some paved trail miles for constant RPM training.
  24. Maybe 4/17 in the AMish? We can chat when it gets closer. Edit: Not Amish... sometime in the AM.
