Your farts must smell consistently awesome! He said $2.50/dz earlier in the thread IIRC.

Multi use trails and equal access is a big deal in places where there are more people who do stuff outside (out west). IMHO multi-use trails don't work. Believe it or not, the horse people have a lot of the power, money and say in the situation. There should be equal access to the land for all, but a bike shouldn't be on a hiking trial and a horse shouldn't be a on a biking trail and a bike shouldn't be power sport trail, ad nauseum. The only one that kind of works is hikers and bikers. I have no problem with the hikers/runners being on the MTB trails, but I whole heartedly believe that bikes shouldn't be on hiking only trails. I never said you shouldn't be allowed in that forest, that is a whole different discussion. If you want to have a trail in that forest, do the leg work, get the permits and build it. Don't go onto the MTB, hiking or horse trials and destroy all of the hard work that people put into those for those specific purposes. It's only selfish of you to want to do whatever you want (ride your power sport on a non-power sport trail). I don't think you have an inkling of an idea how much work it takes to build and maintain a trail.

I sure as fuck hope not, and I'm pretty sure the answer is no. Make your own trails, go to trails that are for power sports made by power sports riders. Those trails look so nice because mountain bikes are low impact, relatively speaking. Those trails were probably made by mountain bikers by hand (well the second one looks like an old service road, but the first one looks like it turns to single track pretty quickly).

Dooo it. Don't drop thousand(s) of dollars on your first bike. You can get a really nice hard tail (front suspension) bike for 500-700 that will be great for at least a few years. Bike tech changes so quickly everything will have changed by then anyways.

I wasn't that impressed with what I've heard from them since the Absolution album, loved that CD.

Brian: Get some sour cream and onion chips with some dip, man, some beef jerky, some peanut butter. Get some Häagen-Dazs ice cream bars, a whole lot, make sure chocolate, gotta have chocolate, man. Some popcorn, red popcorn, graham crackers, graham crackers with marshmallows, the little marshmallows and little chocolate bars and we can make s'mores, man. Also, celery, grape jelly, Cap'n Crunch with the little Crunch berries, pizzas. We need two big pizzas, man, everything on 'em, with water, whole lotta water, and Funyons. Kenny: That's it? Thurgood Jenkins: Yeah, get me a box of condoms, and, what was that thing we used to eat back in the day? What was it... oh yeah, pussy. Kenny: You got it.

Don't have any easily acessible pics, so here is the 'stock' picture from Giant, it's an 06 Yukon. http://www2.giant-bicycles.com/_upload_us/bikes/models/zooms/2006/Yukon_blue%20copy.jpg Only notable thing I've done is gone 1x8 with a bash guard in the front. I go to Alum pretty often and to other places around the state occasionally. I am definitely down for some rides this summer!

Because it's a 98 neon and I bet they didn't bother to do anything to the engine. So it would pretty much look like this http://www.shitsenders.com/images/site/elephant-splash.jpg

Shit, I saw this post and I know it's 21+ after some time, but completely forgot. Sorry guys.

Just like I said last time, sorry it's not a time I'm looking to rent. It's a very nice place and a great deal. Off topic, Kyle, we will be in DC for a vacation at the beginning of April. Going to the eastern short in MD for a few days, then to DC to visit the so's brother and do the DC thing. It would be good to catch dinner or something.

Is sprockets wearing usually a 'problem' in motor bikes? In (pedal) bikes they will start to wear a 'ramp' after a lot of miles, but I would think relatively speaking a motor bike sprocket is stronger than a pedal bike sprocket for safety reasons. Probably also relatively speaking a pedal bike has more of a percentage of 'high' power more of the time than a motor bike that's driven on the street. They try to make those things (sprockets in pedal bikes) as light as possible, but not fail, it's a knives edge game. I've never been to mid-ohio for bike races before. I love going up for car club racing, a lot more laid back than big race weekends. Let us know when you are going to be up there, it would be fun to come watch.

Someboy give me a good reason why I shouldn't buy the MOTOROLA DROID
Trouble Maker replied to CRAWDAD's topic in Dumpster
This. Another reason I personally wouldn't get the Droid is because it's a big phone. It dwarfs every other phone that I know of. I don't want to have anything in my pocket or have to talk on anything that's bigger than it needs to be. Hard keyboards take up a lot of space. I also hate Motorola phones and would never suggest someone to buy one. -
That was a beer from new belgium brewing company.

I say startup. Mostly because it sounds like your implying the local company doesn't treat people very well. IMHO, you have to have a good balance of three things to be happy with a job, reasonable pay, good work environment, and doing what you can/like. This has to be good balance for not only the worker but company too. If you get paid too little or too much, either you or the company will be unhappy at some point. There is probably some minimum point for a 'good' work environment that needs to be there for you to be happy. And you need to be challenged to a certain degree by the job, but not be under qualified for it. There needs to be a good mix of these three. It sounds like the local job doesn't meet at least the pay you think you are worth, and you are expecting to be worked like a dog (not being paid enough for your work amount and unhappy with the work environment). That, to me, sounds like a recipe for not being with that company for very long, or maybe in this economy being there for much longer than you'd like. Think of it like a balance scale, but with three places for weights, things have to be level or you won't be completely happy with a job. Of course one can argue there is never such a thing as completely happy, but it sounds like things will be really out of whack with the local company. And yes, there are other factors to consider, but I think these are the three main components that either make or break whether most people are happy with a job. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f124/DocManJay/balance-scale-redone.jpg

A little historical perspective: The Great Blizzard of 1978
Trouble Maker replied to Doc1647545523's topic in Dumpster
Here's for hoping it happens again. I'd hike up the drifts and ski down. -
Shit... I can go that fast. Watching it right now, good stuff.

You gling to melt your way out of your house when you're snowed in?

That's really sad they are recalling the most awesome vehicle ever made, only because it's too awesome.
