Trouble Maker replied to KillJoy's topic in Passing Lane
But you have a wife and kids=balls gone=driving mini van -
Here's one with all of the county's. Guess Franklin is only $51k. http://www.ers.usda.gov/Data/Unemployment/RDList2.asp?ST=OH It would be interesting to see the breakdown by suburb and city proper.

This would be a very interesting car, but I'm not seeing it on Edmunds or Ford's website. I'm seeing AWD is only available on Sport (top trim) with the 'select shift'. I'm assuming select shift is some auto with paddles and/or stick. I'm only seeing the Manual available on some FWD 4-cylinder models. Maybe I'm just not seeing something or there is a new version for the 2011 model? -

Pontiac G8 (maybe you can find leftover new for cheap still?). Cadillac CTS, or even the Wagon if you need lots of room. Along the lines of A4/A6, S4 or S6, 3 series 4 door (don't know if these fit your definition or 'reliable'). I'll try to think of some more. It's a shame they don't make the V6 4 door Accord with a manual, only the 2 door has the manual option for the V6 models. Acura TSX? -
One of the things I read said that if they get you on the phone they will say they are from a company representing a bunch of different banks. Then they ask you for your credit card number so they can access your account. Who falls for this shit?
-
I googled it and they said it was a phishing scam.
-
Now that's funny. Is the name attached to the caller ID assigned by your phone service provider? That may be the reason why.
-
Well when your joke's not based in reality like your false image of yourself being anything resembling cool then it's not funny. I was just trying to inform you, sorry for trying to teach you something. Guess you can just go around not knowing shit about shit and be happy with your unfunny jokes.

Holly shit... I remember you posting about this back when you were originally doing it. Cool to see it finally come together. GL at the GRM $2010 Challenge!

So what your saying is he knocked you out?

Do you know the difference between the median and the mean and why they use the median for this type of stat? EDIT: The mean is the average. So if three filthy rich people moved in then the mean would go up, but it would do little to effect the median. They are stating the median in that article. The median is what the 50-th percentile makes, or what the middle person out of all of the people makes. This is closer to being what an 'average' person makes when you take into consideration that the income distribution curve is not 'even'. Even would imply as many people below and above the median, technical term is a Normal Distribution Curve. http://www.visualizingeconomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2005_income_distribution.gif Normal is something like this http://www.tushar-mehta.com/excel/charts/normal_distribution/images/normal2.gif With this curve the median (middle) and the mean (average) would be the same.

No it wouldn't. A 911/C5 are GT cars. I already went over my reasoning for that. Miata or MR2 are closer to what I consider the definition of a sports car than a 911 or C5. Don't believe me that they are "GT" cars, just look up any racing class that they are currently in. I think you are hung up on a 'sports car' being the ultimate sporting car, or the most sporty car you can imagine. Two different things. I don't think you'd argue that the Bugatti Veryon is currently the ultimate car ever made. But it's not a sports car, it's a GT.

IDK, sub 3k is a good place to start just to pull a number out of the air. If I had to think about it long and hard, I would probably end up with something less than that. One really easy example that pops into my head is a Corvette versus an RX7. Corvette, GT car, RX7 sports car. The Corvette is ~3100-3200lbs (and can only do this at it's size due to a very good chassis and fibreglass body), the RX7 is ~2700lbs. EDIT: Thinking about it some more, the RX7 may be pushing it. That all depends on how puritan you want to be with what is or isn't a sports car. Of course that implies the definition is completely subjective. I'll still call anyone an idiot if they they call a 3400lb car with 27" tall tires that's 188inches long, 74 inches wide and 56 inches tall a sports car. For some references C5 Corvette: 3200lbs 179in x 73in x 48in 3rd Gen RX7: 2800lbs 167in x 67in x 48in Original Miata: 2200lbs 155in x 66in x 48in

Anything that heavy is a GT car, not a proper sports car, end of story. Again proving my point that cars have gotten too heavy, and in most cases too big. It's a really sad state of affairs. They are sporty cars, all very high performance sporty cars. None of them fit the definition of a sports car. Just because it's fast doesn't mean it's a sports car.
-
I read 3401 on edmunds. Opps, looks like I was still looking at 2010.. this is based off of the 2011 Mustang. Ford made the car 150lbs heavier, doh. That just proves my overall statment that the car is too heavy to begin with. It's a little more reasonable that the knocked 450lbs off of the body and added half of that back in other go fast parts. The weight being taken off of the body should help lower the CG too.
-
I'm not saying it won't be a bad ass car, just a little like masturbation. I really don't know how they only shaved 50lbs off of the car with all carbon fiber body panels and ultra light rims. Even if they did add larger brakes, full suspension and go fast parts. And my overall comment was simply to say that cars have gotten too heavy. 3300lbs is not a sports car, let alone how much the competitors weigh. Saying it's only 3300lbs and that's great because it's really fast and the competition weighs much more is like saying your 200lb girlfriend can give the best head ever and she's skinny compared to her 250lb girlfriends.

Yeah, I saw that on gizmodo.com and posted it in the chatbox yesterday. The pictures in the comments on gizmodo are hilarious http://gizmodo.com/5462539/hubble-detects-mysterious-spaceship+shaped-object-traveling-at-11000mph Space cat says 'Stay cool dadyo, I have everything under control' http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/comment/4/2010/02/4a65a8c3545747ddc88cb38a5358a2ae/original.jpg

I can also trade for an XBox 360 wireless n adapter.

And it still weighs 3355lbs. Cars have goten too big, heavy and bloated. Ahhahaha, that's only 46lbs less than the stock weight. EDIT: Oh shit, I was comparing to the 2010 mustang and just remembered that's a minor model change, new engine etc (right?). I'm guessing this is based off of a 2009 or previous mustang. Those weight 3356lbs stock. So they took a whole 1lb off of the car doing this. How did the manage to fuck it up that much? Ricer car, it performs exactly the same as it would have with the same upgrades (suspension, wheels, brakes, engine) and the stock body. I really hope that's some kind of mistake in the story and they accidentally put down stock weight instead of the new weight. So they supposedly dropped 450lbs with the body but added it all back with performance parts... what did they do, add a second engine?
-
Then why did you make a post on CL looking for a jerk off buddy?
-
That's like saying someone who's 6'7" 250lbs is not that much bigger than someone who's 5'9" 190lbs. FYI, those are about the same BMI... I know it's a bullshit calc, but it gives a general image. But a 190lb do is still a big dog.

Forza 2 & Marvel Ultimate Alliance combo Guitar Hero Aerosmith Guitar Hero 2 Guitar Hero 3 2 Guitars Going to relegate the XBox 360 to media extender duties up stairs soon so I want to get rid of these games. I know I won't get very much for them so I would prefer to trade for some Wii games since that's going to be the gaming console in our living room now. I've not played this stuff that much so all in good condition. I would prefer some Guitar Hero/Rock Band stuff. If you've got the new Mario and you're bored with it, that will work for part of it too. Let me know what you have and lets make a deal!

2011 model and you've only been driving it a month.

So, how long have you been driving it?

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time."
