  1. He's so full of shit that it's getting in behind his eyes and bluring his vision brown. An optomoligist can't fix that!
  2. Boone's Farms or MD 20/20? Ahahhahaa... http://www.bumwine.com/
  3. If the motor is in that, something is fucked with your suspension/setup. Tucked in the back and looks stock, if not raised in the front. Either that or dead hookers in the trunk...
  4. Me and Ben (Casper) lived in The Orchard and loved it. Really nice places. http://www.livetheorchard.com/ Was something like $1050/mth for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath place with attached garage. The people there were awesome too. Only reason I moved out of there was I couldn't afford a place there on my own. Just remembered another perk. The Orchard has a huge room with bar and pool table and theater room (separate rooms), that you can reserve for free for parties, games, movie nights etc. My sister used to live at Central Park and they had a 'room' with windows all over it and a wet bar in the middle of a courtyard you could reserve, for free also. If you live at any of their places you can reserve any place at any of their apartments also (i.e. if you live at The Farms you can reserve the party room at the Orchard). Most places that are nice enough to have rooms like that charge you for them (I've seen anywhere from $75-$150/night).
  5. I read that as "...the car lurched sometimes. Because I knew there was a problem I purposefully didn't go past idel so I wouldn't go fast and damage something". Not "The car wouldn't go faster than idel."
  6. No wonder you noticed it, that's stickers the size of my computer screen...
  7. Just put the Supra engine in it. To the original topic, if I were going to do one I'd do the GTM or the Coupe. The MKIII or 33 just don't do it for me.
  8. Well I've never done one, or been involved in doing one. I just know that in the past they made it look like that. Maybe they've changed it.
  9. I'm going to say up front, I'm no expert in this area, this is just my general understanding. From what I understand about financing anything (be it a car or hookers & blow), if you could get financing for something like this, you probably don't need it (you have enough money to just buy it). Getting financing for something that's probably worth or will sell for less than what you have into is hard to impossible. Getting financing for luxury items is harder (i.e. getting financing for an ATV versus a car). That being said, my understanding is that you can buy whole kits, or you can by these things somewhat piece-meal as you build it. So you can buy this part or bunch of parts, build that portion of the car, buy another set of parts and build that part. Kind of like financing it. If you have the ability to finance something like this, you may be able to get a built one. But you still run into it being an expensive luxury item. To get financing on the kit I think would be nearly impossible.
  10. I'm also using the stock seat post and should probably change to something with longer channels for the rails. Pretty sure I remember this seat having chromly rails.
  11. I think I may have bent my hanger or derailleur, had to adjust it quite a bit at the shifter part of the way through the day. Need to check that when I get a chance. I did definitely bend my brake lever and one of my seat rails. I've not broken that much on my bike in the few years I've ridden, but this is the second seat I've broken by bending the seat rail. Any bomb proof seats that you know of? I might just try to take the rail off, heat it up and bend it back, but I'm not sure if I trust that or not.
  12. Or just blow his house up, or throw fake blood all over him.
  13. There are SO many benifits to TBW (throttel by wire). We couldn't do anything but a half assed TCS without it. ... waiting for more idiotic comments about how electronic nannies like TCS make cars worse to drive and how they can drive better with them off. On a serious note to follow up Jone's post, cars with ESC/ESP/VSA are much more safe than cars without it. If you want to talk about this more we can, just going to state it for now. There's a reason from a cost/benifit analysis on saved lives of cars with ESC compared to without ESC that NHTSA went forward with requiring all cars to have ESC. All of you techno hating car drivers better buy your non-ESC equiped cars now before than all must have it in 2012. There's NO proof or suggestion from that article (it's the only one I've read) about what they think is happening or than they are going to do a more deep investigation. We'll see what comes of that and if it's truly a logic issue or not.

  15. Sorry to hear about the car. Me and Josh (3.1 Cutlass) were headed up to Ray's and he saw your car on the trailer coming back. We decided it was most likely your rear end. Sorry to hear that it's down, but glad to hear it wasn't your engine. You put a 2nd gen (s14?) diff in there yet? Still probably not enough with the TQ your car makes, just wondering. There's some diff from the 2nd gen's that has a torsen type (IIRC) diff that's supposed to be very strong, I'm sure that's what Carl's thinking too. Hopefully one of the RX7 guru's will chime in with the details. EDIT: Carl beat me to it.
  16. Well, I just thought it was the dumbest one. PETA talks about owning animals like they are slaves, so if anything they would want to bomb the dog owners house that got his slave animal killed. I just got to reading this thread because I was out of town this weekend.
  17. Thanks for showing me the ropes up there Josh. More of you guys need to come next time, it'd be ever more fun with more people.
  18. Leaving in a few. See you a little before 12. I'll be in a black sunfire.
