  1. Along the same lines, I really liked The First; mini-series on Hulu which is a purely fictional story of the first people to go to Mars. They must be similar, there were more than 100 ads for First Man while we were watching The First.
  2. https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/car-technology/a22725154/why-some-mclaren-sennas-have-two-tailpipes-and-others-have-three/ We know the real reason they can't sell the three tip exhaust in the US.
  3. I've bought a couple of bottles online, but only pricier stuff that you also can't find or is very hard to find in the idiotic state controlled liquor stores here. Rum selection in most stores here is pretty abysmal. I don't even know how that could be realistically controlled or enforced. Best case it would be controlled by the (online) store you are purchasing from. The store would have to know the exactly list that Ohio stores 'can' get, and make sure they don't send you those, but can send you anything else. The store is not in Ohio, so what in the hell is Ohio going to do? And, how would they even know to enforce against the purchaser or seller? I trust what you are saying is true, it just seems dumb and pointless. Probably it has some teeth for commercial purpose e.g. a restaurant or bar. I bought a bottle of Pyrat Cask 1623 online a few years ago. I saw one at Weilands maybe six months after that, so I'm guessing it was 'available' in Ohio... but not actually since that's the only bottle I've ever seen in a store in Ohio. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  4. I meet all of my friends on this website called ColumbusRacing.com :fa:
  5. Seems in line with what I got back, but it's helpful to have confirmation. Thanks!
  6. I think whole sale. My lease car buyouts are based off of a formula which uses 'black book', whatever that is.
  7. I'm not sure what it's called; black book, dealer network pricing, what you are seeing them go for (if you do this for a living). Could anyone give me a solid average number for 2018 Civic Si (2 door)? 8400 miles if it matters.
  8. Exact same thing I went though. It seems like in this thread they are just trying to bleed as many customers away as possible, and greatly succeeding at it.
  9. How it actually went down. Me "Why am I paying more for less speed?" Them "Give us even more money and we'll give you that speed" Me "Go pound sand" I'm at 30mbps for $60/month The new tier is 100mbps. New customer is $30/$40/$50 at 0-12mths/13-24mths/24+mths. I asked them to give me 100mbps at $50/month. No price cut, I never asked for or wanted a price cut. I just want the new speed tier at the full normal price. They wouldn't do it. They would do 100mbps for $80 or $85/month. Or keep me at 30 for $40, or give me 60 for $45. I'm just confused and pissed at this point. I don't really understand why I've ever had to call in to get my speed increased when I'm paying the same price or higher as their new faster speed tiers. If I'd never called in, I'd be at 5mbps or whatever my original speed was.
  10. Good luck with that. Those mother fuckers did everything they could to try to lose my business when I called a few weeks ago to try to get bumped up.
  11. We've got (probably the same or similar) TCL as our main TV, it's been great, especially for the price.
  12. I'm glad I can subsidize your business with my higher property taxes.
  13. Can't wait to see what it looks like when finished!
  14. Isn't the panel/technology on a LCD/LED the same, it's the the backlight soucre that is different?
  15. Can you get real Excell on a Chrombook, or only the web based google docs stuff? I guess I've only ever used google docs, and it just seems more... cumbersome, time consuming to do basically anything. Not really a CPU issue, just a complexity of what I'm trying to do issue.
  16. This has to be due to pre-reno valuation right?
  17. We use these at work, for when we need a 'lift' at the spot and can't go back to the shop. They are awesome. Depending on what car you are lifting, you might need the extensions. https://www.quickjack.com/quickjack-measuring-guide.html https://www.quickjack.com/accessories/slx-frame-extension-kit-pair.html The hydraulics will eventually leak, usually at the quick connects... maybe it's a feature?
  18. We replaced our home laptop with a Chromebook and have never looked back. If I had to do some of the things in spreadsheets I do at work with a Chromebook, it would take about 2 hours before I found an open hatch to the roof, found the highest point in our building above pavement, and chucked the thing as high and far as I could. I guess it would be OK for basic spreadsheet work. So, it really depends on what you are using it for.
  19. What's the point of a low mileage car if it's rusted to hell or been in 3 accidents?
  20. I can't see this type of issue being worth it on a car in this price range. Just pay a little more, save up a bit more, or just wait longer, and get a clean car? It can't be any more than a few grand more right?
  21. Do you even potato bro? http://www.swapalease.com/lease/details/2018-Audi-RS-3.aspx?salid=1238285
  22. I didn't actually start one. Someone please be less lazy with the joke than me and do it.
