  1. I'm sure someone will chime in with a group, but if you don't find one, just email one of the groups. They want as many people as they can get because for something like ever 50 people they get in their group, they get a free pass. You can stop into or call The Ski Smith, I know they have a group. Looks like a lot of other places might do the same thing. http://www.skimadriver.com/offsitesales.php
  2. We are trying to figure out a place to go for a (long) weekend winter trip. Of course Snow Shoe is at the top of the list for proximity for a good place. I've never been there either and would really like to see if it can live up to the 'hype' for an east coast hill. I have off from work during those days, and won't be going out west like last year with that time, so it's definitely a possibility. Info on the hill? What Rosi's do you ride? PS. I'm not a big guy by any means. 5'9" ~170lbs Those are 158's, and they'd never need to be any longer.
  3. Will do Mitch. We will definitely be getting together for some local trips to Mad River. The other hills are definitely a possibility, but I've always preferred MRM for around here. It doesn't hurt that I ski for free there now (although I can probably/maybe ski for free at the other places too). Some weekend trips are definitely in the plans too. I'm mainly trying to drum up some excitement for it getting cold with this for the people that do any winter sports, because I am very excited about it. I just got those skis on the right a few weeks ago. I demoed them last year and they are the most incredible carving skis I've ever ridden. I'm very excited to get them on the hill and up the game a few levels. Think (fake) snow! :woowoo: P.S. Andrew, any (down)hill that is steep enough to give me a reasonable chance, I'd make you crash that thing on.
  4. ...the ones on the right. You pick the (ski) place, setup. http://img70.imageshack.us/img70/3967/dscf08962dl5.jpg
  5. I looked a while ago and they are VERY expensive. As in none of us would fathom buying, even an old, worn out one unless we hit the lotery.
  6. PPS, your all getting schooled tonight. Eh.
  7. Just an FYI. I called up there today. They are definitely still doing the special. It's from 8 until they close. They are supposed to close at 12, but they said they usually stay open a little after that. I'm sure that depends on the managers mood and how many people are there. At any rate, just going to finish up dinner, head to Joe's, then head up there. We'll be there around 8. See you hosers there.
  8. Joe's trying to find out how big your penor is before he tries to court you.
  9. Going to do another Game Works night. I wanted to, but haven't been able to come to one because of a class I was in on Thursday. That class is over so figured I'd organize one of those. It's from 8 until whenever for $10, unlimited play. Can't beat that for an evening of fun. I'll be up there around 8. Post up if you can make it out. :woowoo:
  10. Sold, thanks Joe. Feedback sent. Mods can lock this up.
  11. Ok, that makes more sense. I thought you meant the whole car.
  12. Sold, thanks trowa! Feed back sent. Someone buy the rest of my stuff. Mods can lock this up.
  13. When I was a sophomore in college and added my physics major, a guy who was a senior physics major (along with math and Spanish, iirc) was doing that for his senior project in math and physics. Except for he used a ton of different shapes, including a violin; he modeled them using equations and proved it out using the physical models. Pretty cool stuff.
  14. Uhh, ok, my point wouldn't be valid with a stock head unit, just an aftermarket one.
  15. I'd suggest just getting some cheapish aftermarket speakers and running wires for the power for the speakers. Just use the amp in the head unit. In the end it might be a little more work, but probably less complicated and less money. I've never dealt specifically with those cars, but it's usually best to just bypass them.
  16. Yup, about 3 or 4 years ago. It sat in the car for a bit, then I took it out. It's just been sitting in one of those big tuper ware storage things. Opps, thanks nurkvinny. Can you change the tittle for me to say Pioneer? Not that it really matters for $5.
  17. Just getting around to selling a bunch of stuff I'll never use, so here it goes. My Cell # is 614-403-0035, name is Jesse. Call me at any point for any questions on these or to set up a meeting to buy something. You can also come here if that's convenient. I live in Dublin near Tuttle. Simple rules for buying my stuff. No one gets dibs on shit, I see money in my hand you get the item, but I won't sell anything out from underneath of anyone either. I'll deliver within a reasonable distance or meet you somewhere. Everything is OBO, make a reasonable offer and I'll tell you whether I'll take it or not. We can do package deals on combinations of anything I'm selling right now. These were a great set of skis for me, but I outgrew them ability wise. I bought a set of twin tips last year and kept these around for a backup in case I broke my twin tips. Bought a set of carving skis a few weeks ago, so I have absolutely no use for these anymore. Like the title says, they are Dynastar Renegade 4X4's in 178cm. $200obo. They come with Look XR 8.0 bindings, pretty generic but work great with these skis. DIN settings from 3-10. The bindings are demo bindings which means they are adjustable for boot length, and you won't need to get the skis re-drilled if your boot size is different than mine (would be an additional cost for you). I think I used these for ~3 years. The skis are in decent shape, a few nicks on the top. A few nicks on the bottom, nothing that can't be filled in with wax. There is one small core shot (you can see a small part of the wood core) near the center outside edge of one of the skis. Nothing anyone is going to notice while skiing them. The edges still feel fine. I can clean the edges up and give a quick wax job, but at that point I'm not negotiable on price. I will not take them time to do a full tune or the risk of setting the bindings for someone. I can suggest a few great shops who will do a great tune and set the bindings for you, or point you in the right direction for information on how to set the bindings. YOU MUST HAVE THE BINDINGS PROPERLY SET FOR YOUR BOOT SIZE, HEIGHT, WEIGHT AND ABILITY OR YOU WILL HURT YOURSELF. Don't say I didn't warn you. I highly suggest spending the ~$50 for a full tune and binding set/release check. I tune my own stuff and I still take my skis in at the beginning of every season to have this done, definitely worth the money. Here's a picture. I can get more close up pictures of the different nicks if anyone wants, but I can assure you none of them are that bad and I don't feel like taking/uploading any more pictures right now. Picture

Info I found on net says 8", actual speaker measures ~6", w/Suround ~7", with frame ~8". I know they do weird stuff when measuring speakers sometimes. 70WRMS I think I bought these for ~$100 new a while ago, retail for $175 now. Want $30. Work fine, sound decent. A few nicks from age. The surounds on one of the mids has a small tear in it. http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/659/yamahaspeakers9xt.jpg http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/2279/yamahaspeakerslabel0dw.jpg

Don’t have the face or know any specs. Give me $5 for it and it’s yours. Figured maybe someone could find a face for cheap somewhere. It came in my talon and it was a great little entry level CD player, no frills. But I lost the face somewhere. Model DEH-230. It was part of the Premier line if anyone cares. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/8695/yahamaheadunit7dn.jpg http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/1096/yahamaheadunitlabel0sk.jpg Anyone can have this if they buy any of my other more expensive items, or some sort of package deals. PM me to work a deal.
  20. Also, I'll take $225 OBO for thes and the other amp (4*90WRMS) that I'm selling. Free head unit with this item, or both of these if it's still available. No face plate.
  21. Also, I'll take $225 OBO for this amp, and the other sub and mono amp.
