Trouble Maker replied to Stallion Motorsports1647545491's topic in Dumpster
You interning at HRA-O right now? Just wondering. -
"I'M SICK AND TIRED AH THESE MUTHA FUCKIN SNAKES ON THIS MUTHA FUCKIN PLANE!" There, you guys just saw the movie.
-
Exactly. You might make more power with 'real' DP's, but for that much money on a maybe... retarded. And yeah, some of those guys have way too much money.

What they said. Who buys downpipes for these cars?

Looking for a company that can make tooling...
Trouble Maker replied to Mallard's topic in Passing Lane
Phil, My uncle that owns a company in Florida doing custom stainless steel fabrication will be up here tomorrow and Wednesday on his way up to Michigan. He's originally from there (Michigan) and has a lot of contacts in the business in that area. I'll ask him if he knows anyone. I'm pretty sure they get their parts x-rayed somewhere up there. Is this part what I think it is, just for reference? Kind of interesting you are going that route. My company does aluminum casting, but I think we get our molds from somewhere else. I'll find out tomorrow. Hit me up on AIM or I'll chat at you if I see you on. I have some questions about the process you are talking about in case anyone I talk to ask. Not familiar with what 'soft casting' is or what would normally be involved with casting the number of parts you are talking about doing. Do you guys manufacture your own parts where you work? Just wondering? -
I hate you. One of my best friends lives up in Toledo and I'm usually up there every few months. I'll have to check it out one of these times I'm up there. I need a ride in a stage 3+ car to inspire me to go get a job where I make enough money to have $5-10k to drop on my car to do that.

That's the grossest, most impressive thing I've seen in a while.

Sometimes in the heat of the moment it's ok to go ass to mouth.

That was only on boost?!?
-
I bet that was empowering. I'm going to go into Burger King tomorrow and smack my boss in the face with a dildo as I'm quitting. Thank you for inspiring me. Fuck the flame broiled whopper, I'm free bitches!!!

Rewind three years, you have a choice. One will take you down a road to now that will pay you $5mil a year, the other one will make you have a $5mil bail. I think I'll choose the first one.

Be careful with what repairs you threaten to take them to the escrow acount route over (or even sending them a bill). We were going through this when we first moved in and contemplating that. There was a bunch of little shit that needed fixed in our apt. but they were taking a long timet to fix it. One thing that they told us they would fix but then didn't was a pretty big cigarette burn on a counter, very visible right next to the stove. Please keep in mind during this that we live in an apt. across from the Best Buy at Tuttle and pay $915/month. Everything that Ben (Satan on here) was reading said it had to be something that could possible effect your health or living conditions, such as a heater. Anything else and they don't 'have' to legally fix it. I would say minor amounts of mold might be borderline, but just tell them you are allergic (I actually am and could get medical records to prove so). But if you threaten them they will probably act. Especially since most people who work in rental offices are dumb as a rock from my expierence. Basiclly I feeling like punching the woman in the face that told us they would fix that cigarette burn (she was a fucking cunt too), but we don't have a legal leg to stand on to make them fix it.

DJ, how is the second way not legal? I seem to recall Verizon getting sued by the Bluetooth 'conglomerate' for calling their phones Bluetooth capable when they don't have full Bluetooth capability. So instead of making their phones full Bluetooth capable for their customers they just call them 'partially Bluetooth capable' or something like that now. Also, why do you need an older phone? Do they just not know how to unlock the newer phones yet?

My uncle always uses Sherwin Williams too but never had anything but great things to say about Behr paints. He's a contractor also.

Post on trader on Audiworld. Really clean car, wish I had that much time to take care of mine. Let me know if you are interested in swapping ECU's or Center gauges to go back to stock+money. Not sure if I'd want the MTM or not as I'd really like to go flip chip or do a GIAC so I can tune some global parameters later, so I'd have to do some more research. I would really like to get a boost gauge at some point. Although I understand if you just want to sell it as is. Ken, you should be looking at this car. At any rate, good luck selling the car. I'm assuming you found a stage 3 car?

Something is horribly wrong with my brother

Ski goggles, wtf mate? He's getting so much shit next time I see him. You stole my picture ass hat. -
I'm going to punch you in your man boob as hard as I can next time I see you.
-
"We can rebuild it. We have the technology." Bad, I think I might be able to help out with the traction control a little.
-
Lolz... only if you're a sheep.
-
Then you meet him in person and try to figure out what the fuck happened. Ewww.

There's nothing wrong with people coming on here only to sell stuff. Especially if it's car stuff that someone might want. I know a few people that do that or mostly that here. But they are nice and smart about it. They sell real items at reasonable prices and always include pictures and make very informative post about what they are selling. If someone has a question they are more than happy to reasonable answer it. Exactly the opposite of what this guy has done.

running tips...general exercise?
Trouble Maker replied to Stallion Motorsports1647545491's topic in Dumpster
Exactly what large RX7 said. Pacing your self and trying to control your breathing can be the two hardest things that can lead to (relatively) drastically increased distances. I was having a hard time spring of last year when i started running again because i'd burn myself out early. Mark out some distances if you can and get a good pace for yourself and try to force yourself to keep that pace with a watch. For instance you feel you can run X:XX/mile. Mark out 1/4 mile or half mile increments with landmarks. Or just roughly figure out how apart some good landmarks are and figure out what your time should be for that pace at that marker. You'll probably find out that you are almost sprinting relative to your pace at first and going much slower towards the end. You'll wear yourself out too early and this will kill the distances you can run. I felt like I had to slow myself down a lot for that first X distance until you get into your grove (your hear rate goes up, start breaking more labored and rhythmic). It's much easier to pace once you've warmed up but you don't want that to happen too quickly. That helped me a lot on improving my distances at first. Past that another I can say is don't be discouraged by the seemingly short distance right now. If you run regularly you should gain a lot of endurance within the first month or two. Your muscles will become more efficient and not need as much oxygen so you won't get acid build up and fatigued (sore) as quickly. Another thing, maybe you’re just not made to be a long distance runner. That’s fine. If you are doing cardio for some time on a regular basis and keeping your hear rate up for a significant amount of time that’s fine. So what if you run 10 minute miles and you can only run two miles after a few months. Do that every other day and you’ll be a lot healthier than most people. On an unrelated note, large_rx7, you work at HRA right? Which group? I work for Nissin Brake now at our R&D center. Just wondering. -
All of the RS4's for that gen were wagons (calling them an avant only makes them sound a bit cooler). Looked like the S4 wagon but different front (and rear I think) bumper cover and the fenders were flared out quite a bit. Bigger turbos, lots of engine differences, lots more fuel, very different tranny, quite a few interior goodies including very nice heated and cooled leather Recaros. 380hp stock and god knows what with upgrades, I'd give half a nut for one. Someone makes a wide body kit for the sedans and there a few handfulls running around in the states, but it's almost (if not all) completely aftermarket stuff. $$$$ I saw this video on Audi World a few years ago and the rumor was the RS4 driver was the son of some Russian oil tycoon. Go figure, most spoiled and richest of the rich spoiled kids on the face of this earth.

I'd guess if you really want to get money out of them, your best bet would be to research how much they are worth and put them on EBay. I'd also be willing to bet there are more than a few sights dedicated to comic books that have a forum with a for sale section, a trader web page, or something to that effect.

Uhh, did any of you morons really think that it might have been real?
