  1. Well what do you know, my comprehensive deductible is zero. Time to talk to the insurance guy tomorrow. It's All State btw. Thanks for the info.
  2. I don't know how much more blatantly sarcastic I can get over the internet than to imply that a mid to late 90's CAMARO came with 6 piston brakes. Hell, I don’t know 100% for sure, but I think that not even any (production) Corvette except for the new Z06 can claim that.
  3. I was thinking about it... it's only $199 plus a possible $23 for trim for a whole new front windshield as compared to $60 to fix... but I think I'll just get it fixed and add a zero dudctible for windshield repair/replacment on my insurance incase it happens again. It's all the way on the passangers side pretty close to the bottom and as far to the outside as it can get without being to the edge of the windshield (~1/2"). It's almost as far out of the view of the driver as possible.
  4. PM me Drew's #, I don't have it. Safelite said $60 to fix, is that reasonable compared to anywhere else? I have them scheduled for Saturday to come to my place, but I can obviously change/cancel that.
  5. Get ahold of ECS tuning, they are up in Akron. If they have them, ground shiping is a day at most. I've ordered stuff at 5pm before and gotten it at noon the next day. I ordered a set of 710N's off of them, so I know they have them. Those are the BPV's off of the 225hp Audi TT, very reliable. I'm not sure what the 1" BPV you are refering to is though. http://www.ecstuning.com
  6. So I was driving home on Tuesday night and it was dark, heard a huge crack. It sounded like something exploded inside of my car. Looked around that side of the car when I got home, but saw nothing. Glanced over this morning on the way to work and there is a nice, solid crack in my windshield. It’s about 4 inches long, starts about half an inch from the edge of the window, and is about 6 inches off of the bottom of the window on the passenger’s side. The initial impact appears to be at the end of the crack closest to the edge of the windshield. I’ve heard people say this can be ‘fixed’ so it won’t continue to crack? That the insurance company will even cover without a deductible (~$200 now) so they don’t have to cover a whole windshield (at least $500 for them later)? If this last one is true, will it still show up on my insurance as a claim? I’ve never had this happen before so I’m not sure what can and can’t be done with it. TIA.
  7. No, you're a dumbass because you didn't get my sarcasm. Oh god, i need to go search on google again so I can try to make him look dumb. Kekekekkekee.
  8. Werd, I'm locking myself in my apartment. I'm going to be a very crank person from November 25th to sometime in early January.
  9. 8billion times better, I hate UBB with a passion from having to deal with it on this board for the last however many years.
  10. Damn that sarcasm not coming across on the internet when people are too slow to get it. I've never heard anyone (until you) call any number of piston engine any number of pot engine. I have heard plenty of people call whatever brake a X pot brake, whether that be a bike or car. I've never owned a bike either, so that's not where I got it from. You're about as slow as the guy in your story you were so pissed at.
  11. Man, they put 6 pot brakes in those cars, that's pretty bad ass. I need to look into them a little more.
  12. No, he should leave it as is for the time being and just throw a bigger turbo on it.
  13. IIRC they have a .591 lift from the factory... it defintely could sound like that from the factory.
  14. Rookies, used to love Sky until I had Titos. Way better.
  15. Just saw a red one driving down 33 going towards Columbus yesterday on my way home from work. Amazing that I could tell what it was just while driving up behind it. Some older was guy driving and another guy in the passengers seat. What looked like some sort of temp tags on it, but they didn’t look like the regular temp tags I’m used to. They were doing ~65 in a 65 so I’d guess that it wasn’t the guys car that was driving it. I slowed down and honked and gave them thumbs up, absolutely no response out of them. I bet you would get so much attention driving something like that
  16. Free alcohol>>any other kind of alcohol. and Titos>any other vodka.
  17. I'm so glad I saw this. We live within stumbling distance and know one of the bartenders. That rocks. What’s the deal with that, how do you get free beer once you are there?
  18. Post the god damn link! Awww ni$$@ aww, awww shitt!
  19. I can't stop laughing about how racist that could be taken.
  20. Yeah, I'll admit I don't know as much about what you want in a car to make it go fast in a straight line as I do in a car that you want to make corner fast. I honestly didn't know if a dry sump system would help with any oil starvation issues due to accelerating G's (or if that would even starve this engine of oil). I know it couldn't hurt to know that your engine will be more likely to get oil (in odd situations). Exactly what I've been wondering since the specs came out for this engine.... although if the World Block stuff is everything you and some other people are cracking it up to be, it does sound like a 'better' route.
  21. Off Topic and the Tone video is a video that’s gotten passed around there a lot, a funny little clip of some porn.
  22. Someone who's on OT post the Tone video here for me. I can't search on there because I'm not a member and I want to watch it. Sounds quite humorous. TIA! :woowoo:
  23. I didn't know that was the design on those? Even if they did use those, I think it might be a case of bad press from the past. Maybe it's not necessarily a bad design but they got a bad rap from pervious engines where they were poorly implemented. Anyone know what the pistons in the 03-04 Cobras were, or Supras (MK4), just wondering?
