Thanks Jay, hope you enjoy it. 1) Sony Head Unit. Part of the 'Xplod ES' line. Mondel- CDX-CA760X. 3 line outs (front, back, sub), 4.5V/5.5V switchable. Normal amount of power, never knew because I never cared, always used amps. This thing always had a problem playing CD's that were very scratched. It also had a problem with the screen connecting electrically when it got really cold. Nice head unit. Other than that I liked the way it sounded. Worked fine other than that the last time I used it. Obviously a detachable face, remote control. Paid $300 new a few years ago. Asking $50. Info I found on net says 8", actual speaker measures ~6", w/Suround ~7", with frame ~8". I know they do weird stuff when measuring speakers sometimes. 70WRMS I think I bought these for ~$100 new a while ago, retail for $175 now. Want $40. Work fine, sound decent. A few nicks from age. Nice, natural sound. I have a smaller set of these speakers and I LOVE them. I just don't use these as I use the smaller set with a sub. You'll find all kinds of good reviews about this line of speakers. I have no idea why they stopped making them. These things have nice gold plated 5-way binding post on them. 70WRMS Have no idea what these went for new, bought them slightly used for~$75. Werd, I never got a worthwhile IM. It was always stupid shit of people mass IMing everyone. Anything that was pertinent people always seemed to PM me. You get pop-ups for PM's so I don't see a need for IM's.

Actually that's not what I was referring to. RS4's look different on the outside. You can get a custom wide body kit for ~$6k (iirc). Then they still have different cams, intake, maf, some piping. That's just stuff that might matter power wise. There are probably more parts I don't know/am not remembering. Different seats. Not to try to take anything away from the car, a well running stage 3+ car is way bad ass. I'd love to eventually do that to my car... except for I'd buy reasonable priced parts and install them myself because his bill was about half of what I made in a year (before taxes) from what someone told me. Despite that, it will never be an RS4 just like an AE86 (sold here) will never be a turreno, etc. It's an S4 with quite a bit of upgrades, nothing more, nothing less. That was my main point. They only made RS4's in those years in wagons.

No they didn't... not anywhere close actually. The number I've heard thrown around was 400hp. Either # is a prety high estimate. I bet it has low 3xx to the wheels at best... but that's still good for 12's. (320 hp to the wheels would be ~400crankHP).

His picture is within 'regulations'. Your POS old monitor is just too small.

Those are nice looking cars, for sure. S4 and you wouldn't have to deal with that stigma at all. NI as in National Instruments? If so, I'd love to get a card that has some analog and digital inputs and outputs for data acquisition on my car, and maybe some simple controls. graemlins/thumb.gif

I try to be much more responsible than that when I'm driving. I've almost lost my life a few times in a car and I've seen (indirectly) too many people go down on bikes lately. If I were to do that and the guy wrecks and dies, not only would I feel morally responsible for it (because I saw him). But even if I had no idea he was over there, I would have a bullshit civil suit from the family.
