Saw a group of Bikes, 6 or 7, getting on the highway. I looked over at my friend I was with and told her "Look at all of those idiots". Most of them were wearing only a helmet, some gloves, but that's the most any of them had on. So we drive down 270 a little further and they are getting in and out of it, playing around a little with each other. I get into the fast lane and set the cruise at 74. Next thing I know, a few of them are racing. I hear someone revving pretty high but holding the rpms. I look in my rearview mirror and see a black blob and headlights pointing to the sky. I roll down her window and tell her to look over, she had no idea the bike was coming up. Bike rolls by us doing ~10mph faster than us doing a stand up. Pretty cool looking, but pretty dumb too. We were getting close to 71 and we had to go south. I bet if she were driving she might have came over into your lane (or anyone else who might not assume what you guys were doing). There was actually one more bike back further and I was really hesitant about getting over because I wasn't sure what he was going to do. We definitely enjoyed the show, just be more careful next time. If they are on here, I'm sure it's falling on deaf ears though. Oh, and if you’re such 1337 riders my lowly S4 shouldn't be able to catch up to you guys on the 270-E to 71-S ramp.

Could be, but that won't show up on a pressure test either. Mine are starting to go bad, I have a pair of 710n's sitting ready to go in though. Can you hear the 'bov's' when you shift (at high load, high rpm), you really shouldn't hear anything. If you hear anything that sounds like a weird noise, almost like an uber whoopoie cushion, they are going bad. You would defintely hear it when you shifted. Yes I was. I live on the westside of town but it only takes me about 25 minutes to get to that spot. We could always meet somewhere inbettwen off of the high way. Just make sure it's sometime there isn't going to be very much traffic so we can just go out on the highway.

That's simply the torque/power curve in these cars, a lot of guys don't even shift at redline because the power starts to taper off. The car does not taper off boost at high RPM's. It's also not the K03's 'fault' because they are only pushing 8ish#'s on 1.35L a piece. The S4 absolutely will not feel like a stereotypical turbocharged car stock. The way they control the boost with the boost control solenoids and the throttle with the throttle by wire system during spool up causes this. This is something a chip does get rid of to some extent. You also should not hear the turbos very much in a stock car. Like I and Audion19's have said, they get very loud when they are going bad. I'm only postulating here but some sensor is sending the ECU a 'bad' signal causing the car to pull boost and timing. I've been under the impression that if something is so wrong to cause this to happen you should get a CEL, but I could be wrong (you can have codes tripped and no CEL if you have certain 'soft' codes). Take it to the dealer, or like Audion19's said, Auto Assets and have them take a look over it. If all else fails we could 'compare' my car to his. I'm not even talking racing here, have everyone sit in both cars and do WOT pulls through second and part of third. That should give us a good idea. Maybe you guys are just used to cars being quite a bit faster and this feels slow comparatively (you are turboed in the integra right?).

They have always came during the day to our house. You just put everything you want them to pick up on the front pourch and write KF on it and they will take it. They tell you what day they will come so you know when to put it out.

Any check engine lights? If so obviously check for codes. If they turbos are bad (and they won't produce enough boost), or if any of the piping has a big enough of a rip in it to cause such a pressure loss that your not getting full boost at the engine, you should have a CEL. More than likely if you don't have a CEL the turbos couldn't be so bad that you aren't getting full power. Especially if they aren't making any kinds of noises. These turbos are notorious for making loud whining noises if they are going bad/have gone bad, especially under load/full boost. Some people have described it like a siren in the distance. Rig up a boost gauge on it and make sure you are getting boost. Try to unhook the ECU and let it reset (I'm not even sure how long this will take, I've never had to do it). It could be tripping something that makes the car pull back boost and timing? If you can get a hold of a VAG COM you can log the boost, check any codes, reset any codes. I'm not sure which block it is though. They aren't that fast stock... 14.x lowish at 97MPH would be normal. It's a torquey motor, but you only have about 19xHP to the wheels in a 3600lb car. It defintely shouldn't feel slow though (as it is a torquey car so it should at least 'feel' fastish). He could always go and say "Hey what the hell is wrong with my car, it feels dog slow" and they might check a few things. I'm sure that wouldn't hurt.

I prefer roll right now because my only running car is my daily driver, awd car, and I don't want to break anything in the drive-terrain. I feel like it's easier to get off a race just piddling down the highway at 3am too than trying to find a good spot to dig race. Going to a track is pretty cool though too. I'll take the DSM there once it's back up because it doesn't matter nearly as much if I break it, even though it's slow right now. I prefer road racing overall but this post wasn't about that. In the end if you’re at least a decent driver you're always going to want a faster car in a straight line. Every car is eventually going to seem normal. This doesn't happen in road racing, there is much more room for personal improvement and every track is different.
