Ok, nock that 13k down to 9500. I had assumed from what the owner of the car posted (about being 25) it would be significantly more.
-
I doubt it will ever come back out. If it ever does, it will be very far down the road from now and will be nothing that any previous f-body owner would want. i.e. v6 fwd POS. Your first point is an excellent point. People are running around acting like the 07 Camaro is some kind of prediction from Nostradamus and there has been NOTHING official about it afaik.

Do you not think an 03-04 Cobra cost alot more to begin with and to insure than an 01? Per Edmunds. Price of an 01 Cobra, ~$17k. Price of an 03 Cobra, ~$25K. Assuming base hardtops on both. Let’s assume he gets a loan for 4 years at 5% and his insurance is ONLY $100 more per month. The cost of the insurance plus the extra for the loan would be $282 per month. That adds up to a grand total of $13,536 over the next four years. Or he would have to make $3384 per year or $1.63 per hour more to be able to have the same quality of living as he does owning the 01 if he would have bought the 03. I'm sure if you would be willing to give him that for the next four years, he would have been more than happy to buy the 03 instead of the 01. Having said that, it's his money and he can do what he pleases with it. Cool car, congrats.

You just proved the point of my post. Duh, sell them to restaurants who will make them into chicken. Yeah, I went there.

That’s Homorific! Although I don't agree or disagree with the idea of hunting cats, this is just stupid. A cat is higher up the food chain than a bird, they eat them. Of course there are going to be more birds than cats and they cats are going to eat multiple times their numbers. That's just the way nature works. So if I like a songbird more than cats it should be ok for people to hunt cats? Or if I happen to like cats more than song birds I should be happy that the cats eat the birds and want people to not hunt cats? People have some weird attachments to whole species of animals for no good reasons.

Forgot about both of those, cool cars too. If the feel of the 300C is any resemblance of the Magnum, and I would assume it is, they drive incredible nice. It makes my car feel like the chassis was designed on the cheap. Absolutely amazing. I've driven a few WRX's and I really like how fun they are, but not exactly how they were designed inside. When the 92x came out I really wanted to go test drive one, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I really need to go do that, although everyone has told me they drive exactly the same. Don't see why they wouldn't, but I just want to see for myself, and check out what they are like inside. I was actually actively looking for a WRX wagon some time before I decided on my car. Deal as long as it's reciprocating. I already have this pact with another friend of mine from college. I figure if I make it with enough people and I actually get one, someone will have the balls to follow through. That way some day when I have a wife who tells me we need to get a minivan I can tell her we can't or my friends will kill me, and I won't be lying.

Need cage put in my car. Who can do it?

I'll second how nice your engine bay looks. BTW, I'm the kid you meet out at Hooters weekend before last. The engine bay is only going to get better?? What tricks do you have hiding up your sleve? I don't know what else you could do up there. I'm going to reiterate the fact that you should be worrying about your brakes just as much as a cage. I remembered later that day about another possibility. I remember someone who had some turbo 3si brakes on their 1g, they told me there was a website out there for info on the swap. It might have just been the front, but it's something to think about. I would think that would be a fairly inexpensive route as compared to the 'other' swap I told you about. Can't remember how big your rims were, but I would think you'd need at least 17's to fit those brakes underneath of them (IIRC they are 13.x” rotors, 4piston oposing). Don't know how big (or small) you were wanting to go on your rims. That should be PLENTY of brakes for straight line racing just about any DSM, especially one that weighs as little as yours does. Good luck on getting your cage done this weekend. Does anyone do SFC (sub frame connectors) for our cars? Just something I’ve been wondering about. -
I'll kill Eric for his own good if he ever buys a Minivan. It's what any good friend would do. I can't believe you hold minivans above wagons. http://www.canadiandriver.com/news/01images/wrx4_h.jpg http://i9.ebayimg.com/02/i/03/31/cd/7b_1_b.JPG Maybe I'm just a little too utilitarian, but I like wagons if they are fast.

Shut the fuck up. -
Those are both very good times for you cars for your first time out. You both looked good out there. I came out towards the end just to watch, wish I would have know who you two were. I would have came up and said hi, next time I guess.

Usually it wants to be connected to ground, just check in your manual. It sounds like maybe in your case those two wires want to be connected to each other. But I'm just making general conjectures. I know every time I've had car radios with any kind of interrupt wire (usually for a phone mute) it says in the manual what they want to 'see' in order to work. So RTFM. Or you could call the place where you bought it, unless you bought it off of an individual. Any 'store' that won't give you simple advice on how to use products you buy from them is worthless and I would never shop at. -
Glad to see you’re on here and liking it Rob. graemlins/thumb.gif

I was just asking because you didn't state what school you quit, I just assumed it was High School from the way you type. I guess wherever you went either didn't give a shit about teaching you or you were just too dumb to learn anything. Or is it cooler to use 2 instead of to, maybe I can repeat words repeat words too? 1m 1337 y0, sorry if you don't understand all of what I just typed, I tried my best to type in retard like you do but it just didn't work quite like I though it would. I'm going to go slam my head into a brick wall a couple of times to try to bring myself down to your level of intelligence, or should I say lack thereof, so you will comprehend my next post better. p.s. Keep being cocky all over the board and you'll be getting this treatment from alot more people than just me.

Thanks Eli. graemlins/thumb.gif

All joking aside, that's pretty stupid.

No there wasn't. I'll say there wasn't even that many bikes.

Haha, that was you! That was too funny. Thanks for having us out there Sam, hope the turnout was as good as you could have hoped and you can help turn that place around. graemlins/thumb.gif

Oh dear god, I spelled Altezzzzza wrong. I'm sorry MS Word didn't pick that up. I don't have the Japanese Domestic Market language package installed.

graemlins/lol.gif I didn't want to jump to any conclusions. I mean there was a very slight but improbable chance that he had swapped in an M3 engine and turboed it. redface.gif I bet those clear corners make it fast, I know John's old 03 Cobra got slower when he took the Altezas off. graemlins/nutkick.gif

Sick... I've really been wanting to get back into BMX, stuff like that makes me want to do it even more, even though I mostly rode dirt. That guy’s style is very effortless, I like it. -
What do you have done to a 93 BMW 318is that it can keep up with a single turbo Supra, even running at 8psi? That is assuming you were in your car and not another one. Just wondering.

The town where I went to school is called Ada. Someone once told me in Russian it means Hell. I believe them. It's always at least a few degrees colder up there in the winter than anywhere else in Ohio and it's always windy, usually very windy. The design of the campus acts as an air tunnel, I think those rat bastards did it on purpose. Obviously the wind makes it feel even colder. The weather sucked up there.
