  1. I just about lost it the first time that guys cod piece light up. MTV2=<size=>t</size>eh win
  2. Listen to Satan, he is your master (at linux).
  3. So, I'm dumb and didn't pre-order one. Anyone know anywhere that has any? I figure they won't be 'in stock' for a few weeks. But if anyone hears of anywhere in the future that has them on the shelves, please let me know! You'll get a cookie for you efforts. graemlins/thumb.gif
  4. I'm sure he will be ok with that if he gets to molest your boob in return. graemlins/supergay2.gif
  5. No, MTV2 was good at one point. I used to watch it five or six years ago quite a bit. Showed good music videos. Don't know what they are like now, but if they aren't already regular MTV crap, sounds like they are going that way. graemlins/thumbsdown.gif
  6. So, they are starting to (have already?) ruined MTV2, like they did to MTV a long time ago? Fucking great, I'm glad you are happy about this.
  7. From the little I've looked at different TV's, I'd definitely have to agree that I like the way DLP looks the best also. That's going to be a problem with most any higher resolution 'TV'. The delay problem is a bit surprising, most of the time I've just heard the picture looks washed out. Unless you spend $$,$$$ on a TV or projector, the internal scaler won't be very good. You'll see this on DVD's too, unless you have an HTPC or one of the very few DVD players that you can chose what resolution/freq. to output at. I know of some good scalers in the sub $1k range. Edit: my bad, the one that will upconvert to 720P for you is $1200. The $700 one will only do 480P. I also know of a progressive scan DVD player that's ~$200 that you can select what resolution you want it to output at (so you can match it to your TV). Let me know if you want to talk more, or just go check out www.avsforum.com, I've learned alot from that site. [ 22. February 2005, 12:08 AM: Message edited by: Neo ]
  8. Very sweet Doug. How do you like it so far?
  9. You got what, that exact TV, a DLP rear projector, or a front projector?
  10. They had one of these for $2800. Great deal on what seems to be a very good TV if someone’s looking for a (very) large TV. For the price I would get a front projector, but those aren't as practical for some people. I didn't see too many other things that seemed like great deals though, except for the candy, which I don't really eat so that didn't help me at all.
  11. My brother is going to be pissed; he loves that book (Fear and Loathing). Not sure if he's read any of his other stuff though.
  12. It's on West Broad about a mile from I-270. Or just East of Gerogesville Rd. It is on the North side of the road next to Kohl’s. Across from Delphi. There is a Golf store and a T.J's right in front of it. Hope that can help a few people find it. I live about 5 minutes from there; I'll have to go check it out. Too bad I really don't have any money to spend. graemlins/cry.gif
  13. I'll come over for the entertainment. I can only assume it's pretty funny watching me fall every time. graemlins/lol.gif
  14. Haha, me and Marc were just talking about this on Sunday. We went up to MRM and he told me about your rails, but didn't know if you just waited for snow, or had a snow maker or what. Good luck with that, I don't really know very much about them. Tried e-bay yet, or maybe call around to some local 'mountains'? I know back when I was in high school, MRM used to have almost all portable snow makers. Then got some grant or something, and put in all of the permanent snowmaking they have now about four or five years ago. I don't think they use very many of their old portable snow makers, might be worth a try. Speaking of rails, I tried to start hitting them again on Sunday. redface.gif
  15. Do you want to come up with a new joke or just keep using the same one over and over again that wasn't even funny in the first place? I guess I shouldn't expect any more out of you though. Shut the fuck up or it will be your Christmas I ruin next year by making your mom cry from t-bagging her on Christmas eve.
  16. How's that snow treating you? tongue.gif I washed the outside of the car and cleaned the inside really well, it needed it inside. Didn't have enough time to wax though.
  17. So, Eric is a savage because he is complaining about people not speaking proper English, and not using words correctly? graemlins/wtf.gif [Mowgil] http://www.wowway.com/~shawnjones/617.jpg [/Mowgil]
  18. They probably parted the shit out of it and are trying to get a few bucks out of what is left, maybe a junk yard? I would think you could get easier and maybe more money out of it for scrap metal.
  19. Umm, depends on which ones. I have the ASX's and they are fine, but they are designed to be an all season tire. Over half of Kuhmo tires that Tire Rack sells are called "ECSTA" something’s, ranging from racing slicks to summer tires to all seasons. Welcome to the board.
  20. I have the Pilot Sport PS2's for summer tires on the S4 right now (well, as of this moement have a set of all seasons on) and I really like them. [ 14. February 2005, 02:23 PM: Message edited by: Neo ]
  21. Duh, because he isn't moving anywhere. That gauge has an instaneous and a peak feature. Way to try and bust him out, try again some other time. Glad to see you’re having fun with the new car, I bet it's a blast to drive. I always hate to see someone go from a fun car to a not so fun car. Granted this car is quite a bit different from your old car, but still fun to drive. graemlins/thumb.gif
  22. I hate the be the bearer of bad news, but being mad at a few people who happen to be of a certain race and saying "That race can't drive", is racist. That's in it's very essence what racism is; stereotyping according to your (or even my) narrow experience of the world.
  23. Yup, I owe a net of $71. Owe $253 federal and get back $182 state. That's not horrible, but I've always gotten money back up until this year. I got almost a grand last year, this is a big change. Granted, it's the first time I've ever worked all of the way through they year at the same pay rate. My parents owe ~$2k on their federal return, haven't done the state yet. They have two less dependents this year (me and my brother), only have my sister left as a dependent. Sucks to be them. My dad claimed 0 the whole year, and my mom only claimed 1 on Federal. The most messed up thing about them owing that much is they get charged a penalty for owing so much. It's only a few bucks, but still, talk about rubbing salt into the wound.
  24. Why not just buy a stock 1g bov? They work just fine unless your running very high boost (and at that, you can crush it). I'm assuming that's not the case since you're saying any bov. Oh, get a recirculation one too. [ 11. February 2005, 11:04 AM: Message edited by: Neo ]
