  1. But god hates you, so he lied to you. He just told me so in a dream.
  2. Ben, simply math doesn't do anything. Gas prices have been steady for the past 19 years until recently, adjusted for inflation. This graph shows gas prices adjusted to 1979 money. http://www.randomuseless.info/gasprice/gasprice.png You can kind of 'ignore' what happened prior to that on the graph because it was during the gas crisis. I'll actually go look for a graph that goes back before then, because I bet it was the same before that too.
  3. There have been a few posts that degenerated into 'the worst movie ever' post. I'll say then just like I've said all of the other times, it's pretty obvious none of you have seen The Bridges of Madison County. It is by far the worst movie I’ve ever seen. That piece of trash about John Malkovich is up there too.
  4. Yeah, I've heard Trcquest is expensive, on top of the fact that MO is already an expensive track to run at and you end up with prices like that. I'd much rather do a NASA day and plan on doing a NASA or other (less expensive) club day later in the season there. I really want to do that track too, it looks fun. graemlins/thumb.gif
  5. That situation would piss me off too. File a formal complaint about the Woman.
  6. Werd. It was a beautiful day out and there were some very nice cars out. Thanks to everyone who came out. graemlins/thumb.gif
  7. First nice day out that I feel up to doing something. I'm there. Too bad I don't have time to wash the car, it's dirty.
  8. I got my wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday. I'm still not at 100%. redface.gif Fuck that! graemlins/puke.gif
  9. Happy Brithday. If I'm up to drinking anything tonight I'll drink one for you too. http://www.columbusdsm.com/forum/images/smilies/beerchug.gif
  10. Werd, Talons too. I'm trying to figure out which one though. He says 91-92 and the body changed from 91-92. I bet the parts are for a 90-91.
  11. Damn Dan, that's crazy. Glad to hear you didn't get hit. I woulda cried like a little bitch. graemlins/cry.gifgraemlins/lol.gif
  12. Good to hear. I've been looking forward to this movie since I saw the first comerical. graemlins/thumb.gif I will be going and seeing it sometime this weekend when it won't be too busy or next week though, just don't like going and seeing movies on opening night.
  13. [cartman]beefffcakeeee!!!![/cartman]
  14. Lol. But it should have been Egyptians>Jews>Catholics Ohnoes, where are the loafers at?
  15. Wow, how did that happen? He even had someone else check it too.
  16. If you run a turbo far out of it's efficiency range it will not hold the boost you set it at all the way to redline. It will be fine at lower rmps because you aren't flowing too much air. But at higher RPMS it cannot keep up that boost because the airflow would be too high. This happens alot on stock turboed cars because companies have a tendency to put small turbos on them due to turbo spool-up time issues (what most people equate as lag, but that's not what it's really called). That turbo is probably pushing alot of hot air. Some companies will play with the boost levels up top or down low for different reasons. They might start low then up it at a certain RPM, this also makes the car feel like less of a turbo car. This is the way the WRX's are setup. Then some companies will limit the boost up high due to compressor efficiency issues and/or fuel. I’m going to guess that his car doesn’t do this though and it’s simply that he is trying to push the turbo too hard. I’m not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, he might have done the research that says the car can handle it fine. There are a lot of places that could be the weak link on any car that would make me err on the side of caution as to why to not do that though. Especially when it’s my daily I’m making payments on. E.G. my S4. Chip=$600, 40-60hp gains and 50-70ft-lbs. BUT there is evidence that the stock turbos can fail at stock boost levels, and fail more often when chipped. I’ll keep it stock for now and put that money into my Talon. This is all while other wise keeping stock reliability and gas mileage, and it gets rid of a few nasty things like a speed limiter and the throttle delay (these are TBW cars and the stock programming has a half second throttle ‘delay’). Why wasn't it boosting like it should have stock? I'd figure that out before I went to uping the boost.
  17. I'm sure anyone who could get rims in general can get rims for that car. Tirerack, NTB, etc. Tirerack seems to have a good selection of rims in general, and they can superimpose them on the car, gives you an idea of what it will look like. I've also found that forums specific to the make, or even model, are a good source for pictures of what other people have. Also there are usually posts about which ones people like and dislike for looks AND build quality. People posting about rims seems to be especially true with higher end ‘luxury’ vehicles such as the one you posted about because people seem to be more looks oriented. In summary, do your research and figure out what you like within your price range, then figure out where you can get the best deal at.
  18. I want to start riding again, still have my old bike. Where are the hot spots around town? Just wondering if anywhere I used to go back in the day.
  19. Not really, I took a sip of it and it upset my stomach really bad, to the point I didn't drink very much more that night. Not really sure why either, but that's probably the last time I'll ever drink that.
  20. No way. Free air subs usually sound 'loose'. It's a great option for space saving considerations. My car came with two 6" free air 'subs' in the back deck and they do a decent job. Just sounds kind of boomy. You'd be able to get much tigher and deeper bass from a nice 8" sealed sub. Space saving and relatively cheap? I really like Infinitys Basslink. You can find them for around $200 on EBay, new. It would probably take up as much room as just about any home built box with an 8" sub and amp. You can check them out here. url=http://www.infinitysystems.com/caraudio/product.aspx?ProdId='BASSLINK'&Ser=BSL&Cat=PSU
