  1. Someone really needs to get one of these and make a Tang (drink) donk car out of it.
  2. Leather seats can help a ton too, from what the families I work around tell me. You'll never get a smashed banana out of cloth seats. Leather cleans up better and is more durable, especially if you take care of it.
  3. Or you could say it's a tech war. He who can get to the highest specific power with everything else the best (response, driveability, FE, etc.) wins! I like that spin a lot more, and that is progress IMHO.
  4. To me it seems much more plausible that the people that work at that small used car dealership are all scum than that this is some kind of scam.
  5. Dude should definitely refuse any money from the dealership and use (some?) of the money from that campaign to put out negative adds against the dealership.
  6. I'm not sold on it in blue yet. But if you don't think it looks amazing in the Gulf livery, there might be something wrong with you.
  7. Well, if the original didn't already look like a hot wheels car, then there is this ^^^^
  8. I'm your huckleberry. I'll buy you one if it's less. It wouldn't surprise me that much either way, and it's just 1 beer.
  9. Release at NAIAS said mid $15xk for the NSX. I don't think there's any word on the GT yet, but since the last one satarted at $140k, and went to $150k (in 05 or 06?), I'm guessing $200k+
  10. It does. http://www.autoevolution.com/news/next-honda-acura-nsx-will-have-twin-turbo-v6-twin-clutch-gearbox-photo-gallery-71358.html
  11. I'm interested in this for, well, everyone. I'm wanting to get a system but am curious what others are using and what they like/dislike about it.
  12. I think all of the new hyper cars, the La Ferarri, P1 and 918 are all quicker than the Veryon. Real world races are usually different from paper, I realize that saying this. But I'm surprised the difference wasn't bigger (more of a lead for the Ferrari). http://image.motortrend.com/f/roadtests/exotic/1405_2015_porsche_918_spyder_first_test/70072915+w644/bugatti-veyron-mclaren-p1-porsche-918-chart.jpg I know the Ferarri isn't on there, but I imagine it's similar to the P1 & 918 http://images.thecarconnection.com/med/ferrari-laferrari-versus-mclaren-p1-by-the-numbers_100421050_m.jpg
  13. Wags is all about that nitrous life.
  14. I was going to say you need a bigger oil cooler, but I like Linns suggestion more now since it will be probably much less than a new oil cooler, will positively affect, reduce, both coolant and oil temps. Maybe easier to install. I also like that you will still be using your OEM oil cooler at this point, since it's probably been very well tested for durability, mechanical robustness.
  15. Has anyone integrated a touch screen stand alone GPS & one of these radar detectors together? It seems like they would have a lot of overlapping tech in them and it would be a better device than either could be on it's own.
  16. We have used http://www.jamisoncpa.com/services.html for our personal income taxes for a few years now and been happy with everything. After the first year we can just send everything electronically, they prep and mail them to use, we sign and mail them back and they finally send them in. The whole process couldn't be any easier. We went with them on the suggestion of my wife's aunt, who uses them for personal & business (she consults full time now doing project management so she has her own business doing that). Her aunt is a very astute business woman and very anal (in a good way) about things like money, book keeping, taxes, etc. If she's happy with Gail in that department, I'm confident in suggesting her to anyone in this area.
  17. I am not an expert? Is that higher (coolant temp) than normal? It sounds to me like your coolant temp is hovering around your t-stat opening/closing point. So I wouldn't expect much of a change there. You would see more with a lower t-stat at the same time. Then you are asking for more out of your radiator, which might make the water & water wetter, etc help. What if you just run a high % water with coolant? Since you are at warmer temps, but it will still give you some protection from freezing but higher % water for better cooling. My understanding is that the purpose of water wetter is to give pure water anit-corrosion properties, but you get that with some coolant, even 20-30%. I assume your car uses a oil/coolant cooler for oil cooling. You could put an external cooler on in, and sized right that should help a ton. But if you don't put a t-stat on that, it will make your car warm up slower. I honestly don't know/remember what's good/bad for oil temps. You could cool it too much and get out of the efficient operating point for your engine. I'm sure someone has driven these cars on the track, alot, and figured out solutions to issues that are out there. I didn't look into this at all, but it pops up on some quick interweb searching. http://burgertuning.com/sport_oil_cooler_valve.html
  18. Something similar happened to their estimates on our home last year. I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in it. Probably just a 'glitch' in their equation, maybe someone very close to you with a very comparable house defaulted? Also, no way they can know about the improvements you've done. %5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=563&pictureid=7973
  19. Would have posted it, but they just closed their doors. http://www.columbusunderground.com/deepwood-restaurant-and-the-oak-room-have-closed-rw1 I'm really glad we randomly went there again a month or two ago.
  20. Both places I would and (Lemongrass) have gone back to, which says alot with me since there are so many places I want to try and haven't been to yet. M @ Miranova for a really nice, anniversary worth dinner. I've heard good things about Lindeys, but need to make it to there. You should visit the Elevator sometime, but when you want a steak again as the rock filet, their signature dish, is a ton of fun. I can't say enough about the interior of this place. Lots of original parts of the building from the late 1800s. Tip Top has really great food for reasonable prices. Dirty Franks is NOT some place you go on anniversary, unless you both hold hot dogs so dearly in your heart. But if you do like hot dogs, you do need to go sometime. The Pearl is good. http://www.columbusunderground.com/best-fine-dining-of-2014-lindeys-bo2014
  21. Is that you or just a video of some weightlifter that you rub the spot where you used to have a penis to?
  22. You've never had one start to yaw at all? That was a pretty long event with basically 0 correction, steering or throttle. It maybe even sounded like to engine spun up, maybe from lost traction, or maybe from increased TH. I'd be really surprised if it hasn't happened to you, you just felt the car starting to yaw and gave it a little steering or TH correction before it got out of control.
  23. Awesome, can't wait to come see it! Hows the next few months looking for you?
