  1. If it happens, I would assume it will be the Edge w/128gb. I can't see them charging much if any more than a 'base' iPhone 6 for the normal w/32gb. Regular iPhone w/128gb is already $850 and the plus is $950. $650 iPhone (base, normal w/16gb) is $200 on contract. I don't remember for sure, but I would assume that's what the S5 was on contract at release?
  2. All of these are possible correct answers. If you answered any color, please go jump off the closest bridge.
  3. I really never thought I would see someone call either of those cars small or light. :lolguy:
  4. And then he hit that girl and his life and career were over, because he got high.
  5. I mean, I love S2000s probably more than most people on this board. I like Miata's too. I think the S2000 is just like a Miata, only better. But I think the Miata is the better choice if he want's to go 'real' racing.

  7. Just curious about how your company defines 'healthy', what kicks you to the lower or higher premium? I've seen a couple try and they are 'ok' at best, bad in some cases. A previous company started doing cheaper ins premiums for yearly check ups and not smoking. But if you were 'unhealthy' by the results, that was still ok. They had talked about having one of the criteria be anyone 'overweight' by BMI standards paid more. :dumb:
  8. They could just point which direction the course is going? :gabe:
  9. So, intsa family & religion all in one fell swoop? In other words, did you get into religion due to the new GF? At any rate, whatever makes you happy.
  10. http://reviews.mtbr.com/12-awesome-value-mountain-bikes-under-3000 With most of those prices, you could get the bike + tax, pedals, shoes (even if you go with flat pedals, you'll still need to add pedals and shoes at this price point), and maybe a few other bits of gear (get a pack or a saddle bag and tools if you don't already from road riding) well within your price range. Yup, if you are going to spend that much and don't know the market really well, I'd go to a bunch of Local Bike Shops and ride as many bikes as possible.
  11. I would have to drink if I worked at a company like that too. :dumb:
  12. Seems like it would be perfect to mount a turbo lowish in the back, stick an air-to-water IC back there and pipe it straight up into the intake.
  13. Not exactly my cup o tea, but it's a nice looking watch. I've been digging around a bit about a nicer watch to buy. So I'm sure it's nice to make the plunge, congrats on the new watch! I just haven't found anything that makes me really want to jump. This is my front runner at this point. http://weisswatchcompany.com/
  14. I think you're the perfect candidate for a g-shock for those uses. Things are supposed to be indestructible and not too expensive. I've got a really strange lust for one of the GPS based watches, probably with solar too.
  15. So, if I start wearing dress flip flops at work, does that mean you won't hang out with me there anymore?
  16. Yeah, you can wear whatever you want here, except for open toe shoes/flip flops, but are supposed to wear safety shoes if you go into the shop areas. Some people wear dress shirts (below the uniform) & dress shoes, most just wear some random t-shirt & tennis shoes, boots or safety shoes. Uniforms w/on site laundry service is pretty amazing, 0 thought or money into my professional clothes.
  17. Basically stock engine, etc? Any ideas around what power/tq do you think it will put down and how? I assume custom intake & exhaust? Stock ECU w/tuning or just stock? Could definitely be a fun little car with that weight! Can't wait to see it out running around.
  18. Growth potential in the engineering field has to do with how good you are/how well you work with others and the growth potential in the company. But that's probably true for most fields. If you aren't good at what you do or are at a bad/too small company it can hinder growth. But otherwise they sky is the limit. Associates (2 year degree) will usually cause issues with starting point and/or growth potential in most fields that like people to have degrees. I think you are better off either running with what you have, or getting a BSxE (4 year degree) if you are looking towards engineering. If would hope you already having a 4 year degree could knock out a lot of the basic classes and reduce some time for you getting your degree.
  19. Basically, everyone here wears tennis shoes or safety shoes.
  20. This is probably the biggest thing you can do, be a positive role model in the kids life. One of my best friends has some real winners for siblings. Their kids, but especially the boys in the family he is sometimes able to set straight when they do dumb shit despite their parents due to him being a good example in their lives. Be a success story for the kid, show him what happens when you do the right thing and work hard. Also, don't neglect the situation between your mother and your sister due to being blinded by how bad things are with the kid. Do what you can with your mom to make sure your sister can't take advantage of her. If she hasn't already, she will eventually come to your mother with her hand out with some sob story to scam your mom.
