  1. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/member.php?u=226 You're User 226.
  2. You're getting worse than Jones. We get it, you like Saab's. Everyone on the board has read you posting about it a dozen times. No need to remind us again.
  3. Just got some to drink tonight. They have 6 packs of this and 2 others from Kona Brewing, can't remember which ones, at Savor. I might only have 1 though, it's national Vodka day so I'm sure I will drink some of that. Might even have to go back out and pick up a bottle of something new to try. Any Vodka recommendations? I have every OYO they make, and my favorite every day, go to is Titos. I'll probably get some Watershed as I've not gotten anything from them yet, unless someone has an amazing suggestion.
  4. I've been waiting for this to be distributed here. It's my favorite beer of theirs. Thanks for posting about it, will have to pick up a 6er soon.
  5. I won't disagree that the way he put it is in poor taste. But that has little to do with the subject matter, it's just how he comes off regardless of what he's talking about, on CR at least. Maybe I have a little different take on things. I have a theory that some people that are bad with money because no one will talk about it due to our puritan roots. I respect if someone doesn't want to talk about it, that's their prerogative. Though, I think if we talked about it more as a society we would be better off.
  6. I LOLd picturing the dog running around down in the moat pissed and confused.
  7. EDIT: Seems like my ideas have already been suggested. Get in between their dog and your dogs, their dog goes to 'attack you' shoot it in self defense? How about non-lethal 'weapons', animal grade pepper spray, taser? Is it legal for them not to have control of their dog? Can he call the police or animal control when it happens? They might not do much of anything the first time, but if a pattern emerges they might. Or worst case something happens to you, or someone else there is a paper trail that it's negligent on their part and not just a one time issue.
  8. Maybe not exactly what you were looking for, but probably a good deal? At any rate probably much less than you would spend retail on 'exactly' what you want. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113940
  9. I missed the part where you said steak, go to the Elevator and have her get the Rock Filet. Make sure to walk around and look at everything there, the architecture, stained glass piece about half way back, everything is gorgeous. If you like pool, play on the tables in the back; period correct from the late 1800s when that place first opened (not as the Elevator). Last time I had a beer flight there it was a great deal. You can get all 12 beers and split them between to two of you to try all of them. Really you could do it on your own since it was 3 oz per tasting if you wanted to but splitting it makes it easy to try all of their beers. They had a 6 beer flight too.
  10. I thought there was some unspoken rule, or maybe even actual law against good restaurants on the east side? Obviously no idea when her bday is, but dine originals week is next week and you probably can't go wrong with anything on the list. http://www.dineoriginalscolumbus.com/dine-originals-10/ For BBQ one place to try is Gallos http://www.gallosbbq.com/
  11. Am I the only one who hates the new 'nose' on the BMWs?
  12. Don't the b5 chassis have a space in the rear deck for a sub? Maybe that idea won't exactly give you the bass you are looking for. But if its done right it will probably get 90% of the way there and get you all of your trunk space back.
  13. Window unit in the kids room as a band-aid? Just an idea the help with that issue, sorry I can't help you about the part. Maybe take a picture of the cap and post it on here? We might be able to help with a secondary source, know which numbers are pertinent.

  15. Is a 'TSA' approved lock ok for stuff other than regular luggage? I know quite a few years ago they stopped allowing locks (even TSA approved) on regular luggage. Any TSA approved locks I've seen are pretty much a joke anyways. http://www.my-self-defense.com/images/tsa_accepted_locks.jpg When they still had the bomb sniffers out front, they always asked if they luggage was unlocked. IIRC if you put a lock on it, they will just break it to get in. Again, this is what I understand with regular luggage, not sure if there are different rules for other types. I travel with test equipment sometimes, if checked it would be nice to be able to lock it up with the knowledge that it can only be unlocked in certain situations, maybe under supervision. It's one thing if TSA goes through my undies, but a whole different story with something more valuable. If they would accidentally break something on my way to a trip, it could be a big problem.
  16. Kevin, every time I see an FD you worked on finished it makes me want to get one just so I can bring it to you.
  17. Wags, you know if I’m at a track it’s not usually going to be a drag strip, but I would love to come support you once your car is up and running.
