  2. Joe, you know I'm not knocking you at all, just the 'advertisement' at the track. I thought the sessions felt short last time. I'm paying for 10 minutes and the fastest cart can finish 10 laps in under 7 minutes. I know they can't cater to the slowest cart, but at least be honest about what you are selling. Also, does that mean if I'm in the faster group I actually get less time than the slower group? :fa: I seems to me it should be easy to program the system for 10 actual minutes, but they feel the can get more sessions per hour at 10 laps and make it seem like you are getting more time than you actually are calling it 10 minutes.
  3. I'm LOVING the cold and snow. I wish it were like this all of the time in Ohio during the winter. It feels like a real winter. I spent about one and a half hours outside yesterday shoveling the driveway, sidewalk, clearing off the cars, and taking a walk around the neighborhood. I would have attempted building a snow fort in the backyard, but we had commitments all afternoon.

  5. Clearly your shift key isn't broken and you aren't too lazy to use it, so I'm not sure why you aren't capitalizing the first letter of the first word of any of your sentences. More on topic, when I used USPS tracking it was beyond a joke. It said the package was somewhere in their system. It didn't even give a hint of where, just that it had been received by them, but not delivered. I ordered it, and I don't have it yet, so I already knew that. Troll package tracking technology at it's finest. Maybe it's different now?
  6. VR38 engine, no shit. This will decimate all AFTER you put about fifteen grand in it or more, and if we have to, overnight parts from China.
  7. Craig and Stacy Moock. Craig used to do maintenance and Stacy... she does something on the business end.
  8. Do you work out of Smith Brothers? I have 2 friends who work(ed) for them. One has went back to minestry, the other is on Maternity leave, but that was very recent.
  9. Which one does he work at? I'm at the 161 location way too often. Glad to hear everyone likes the Harbor Freight boxes so much. I think I'm going to buy a new, bigger, nicer box soon and was highly considering these.
  10. So, what are everyone's thoughts on a C7 ZR1?

  12. I don't know anything about their specific models, but I was thinking pretty much exactly what Grant said; you would look good rolling in a big body car. I've heard the IS250's are 'slow' compared to the competition, but this is coming from someone about to be DDing a Civic, so I can't really call it slow. :lolguy: The ES400 with the V8 seems intriguing. IIRC there is a supercharged one that comes out to C&C.
  13. I'm up for whatever, let me know and I will be there if I can. Will be great to catch up and see how Japan was. Clearly it's influenced you considering the picture.
  14. Agreed and was exactly what I was thinking when I posted the 'we'. About spreading the word around work, other car friends who maybe don't know about CC&C or for whatever reason haven't been out yet.
  15. We should target a big kick off date for Cup O' Joe, confirm via weather a week or so before hand and promote as much as possible. I think there is some tipping point, where if a bunch of new people come out on the first nice spring weekend and there are 150+ cars, they have a ton of fun, tell all of their friends and the event will grow by leaps and bounds. If we can get a few nice weekends with big turnout I think that would be huge.
  16. There's going to be an REI there. i.am.excite
  17. Phil, let me save you some time. How every CR focus group will go. THIS CAR IS SHIT COMPARED TO MY CAR!
  18. We were able to watch a game last (Bama/Oklahoma) night with an AT&T UVerse login. I imagine you should be able to do the same with TW, I think they are on ESPNs list? You could check and make sure sometime before the game starts.
  19. I really want to do a quick weekend down there. Not much taller or bigger than Mad River, but way better/steeper terrain. That and a big casino in the little town you stay in and how close it is would be a winning combo. Many other places worth driving to would need a long weekend to really make it worth it; or at least take a half day on Friday to head out.
  20. Umm, Marc is a boarder. :gabe:
  21. Would you say you are better or worse at skiing than hiking? How about driving?
  22. I would call around to places like I posted above and see if they would do some non-audio work.
  23. If you don't know what's wrong I'm not sure how some place that just works on 'electronics repair' is going to fix it. They won't have it as a full working unit (dash needs to be in car to 'work) to diagnosis... maybe when they look at it, it will be obvious. Is there anything obvious? Electrolytic caps (the ones that usually fail, usually cylindrical in shape) can puke their guts out, sometimes also damaging the board. Places that work on old stereo equipment come to mind. Those guys are usually very good at repairing electronics, as they usually have to repair rather than replace. This place is down the street from me, but I've never used them before. http://stereolabservice.com/ My dad's had Needle in a Haystack work on his old equipment a few times. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Needle+In+A+Haystack&hq=needle+in+a+haystack+columbus
  24. The definition of a defective, non working consumer device is going beyond not working to not working as expected. So a smart tv with a shitty interface that's hard to interact with is defective.
  25. Trish, would you mind removing anything that says last names/initials on here?
