  1. I'm getting the 2.4L. Redline's won't be out until the fall at the earliest...most likely won't be able to get one for another year. I haven't heard anything about clunky shifters, but I have heard of a rear end clunk.
  2. No, the Aston went off at a different spot.
  3. WOW! It looked like the passanger compartment wasn't damaged at all, so did he walk away? That's crazy. You can bet M-O will be changing that section soon. Imagine if that was you FV or an F500 car that hit that.
  4. That's because they are Factory Five Kit's that use Fox Body Mustangs as the donor car for the kit. Those are the most common wheels you see on them.
  5. No it's a Factory Five kit that uses C5 corvette suspension, engine, brakes, etc. as a donor car. They used design elements from a lot of different cars, but IMO it looks like a disproportioned Ford GT.
  6. No, it's a Sky. The car will be used for development of some go fast goodies. More details will be coming out during the summer as projects are completed.
  7. There will be plenty done to mine after it gets here.
  8. That's the Noble XBox sponsored for the Car&Driver Cannonball One Lap of America. It happend earlier this year. You can find more pics and vids of the event hosted on http://www.lake-effect-racing.com
  9. Sad to say, but I will be a Saturn owner sometime this week. At least it's a cool Saturn.
  10. Yes, it would, IMO. In order to 'grow' the clone they will most likely be using an artificial uterus. As the fetus grows there still has to be some way to transfer food and nutrients to it. There will still have to be an umbilical cord of some sort. Plus, what would Tom Cruise eat after his next baby is grown?
  11. Woman finds that dead body is the source of her steering problems A young woman from Ecourse, MI was driving through Detroit at about 1AM on Friday morning when she noticed that something was wrong with the way her car was handling. The teenaged driver pulled over into a nearby service station, thinking that she had a flat tire, when it was discovered that the problem was indeed much worse - a dead body was wedged into the vehicle's front suspension. Apparently, the deceased was the victim of a prior hit-and-run, and had been left lying in the road when the second driver came along and snagged the corpse with the undercarriage of her vehicle. It's estimated that she drove about two miles with the body dangling underneath before realizing that something was wrong. She will not be charged for any wrongdoing, and the perpetrator of the hit-and-run is being sought by police. [source: Detroit Free Press]
  12. I've had no car payment for the last 8 months and I agree. It's awesome. Although in a short time I will be picking one up. 8)
  13. A little different...Kellen Winslow was popping wheelies in a mall parking lot, Ben was riding down the street obeying traffic. (As far as we know ATM) I still don't understand why you wouldn't wear a helmet. You wear it for football, why not wear it for something a lot more dangerous?
  14. Yeah, I think a neck brace and a helmet are a good idea if you are worried about safety. It's been 2 days and my neck still hurts if I turn to the left.
  15. I rode one yesterday and I think it will be pulled from shelves soon. The speed it takes to get you up varies depending on the riders weight. I'm ~140 lbs and it didn't take much at all. Another guy is around 200 and it took more throttle to get him sustained air time. I was able to stay 4-6 feet above the water for a very extended period of time. At that point I would shift my weight to try and hold that altitude. Sadly we had some cross winds and while airbore the raft got extremely squarrily. I held on the first and second times it came down badly. The third time I was fucked. The raft was flapping around and i touched down on the side, raft caught air for another second, rolled over, and hit the water upside down (peeling me off at ~30mph). I knew it was coming so I held my breath as I was coming down, but I hit head first, then skipped a couple times. The rest of the day it felt like someone punched me in the back of the head and my neck still hurts. It also helped that my friend towing the boat had watched (and follows) the video that came with the raft and knew what to do with the boat to help me regain control and set down safely. When you cut throttle it sets down immediatly. However, the wind took me so fast there was little time to react. Earlier in the week the drivers g/f got it up 20ft on a calm day.
  16. If you want hours of amusemnet watching your cat, buy a laser pointer.
  17. Stop snapping your head around to look at all the hotties you pass on the bike trial.
  18. I completely agree. No one was injured, the damage is minimal, why turn it in to insurence? To get them to raise your premiums? I would do exactly what they did. If you get all the money for repairs, who cares how they get it?
  19. I think he was trying to put it in chronological order. (Tarantino jumped around the timeline ni the movies) But a few of them are still misplaced.
  20. Sounds like a Steven Segal movie.
  21. no, but putting the JDM parts on you USDM Civic makes it a JDM spec Civic, which is the same thing this guy did.
  22. Not sure why this is funny...Toyota sells the Cavalier overseas so there is a JDM version of the car. Not exactly funny, but the guys an idiot for spending all that money on a Cavalier (just like most others that want to be JDM).
