Do you have any interior shots? What about the underbody? Any rust?

It's a shame the SCCA decided to leave a world class track for a flat track in the middle of Kansas. It's awesome that NASA decided to have national championships and run them at M-O.

I can attest that driving a high HP FWD car with an LSD provides pretty bad torque steer in first and second gears. I'm interested to drive this to see how much slower it feels in first and second, but overall I think this is a good thing. It shouldn't be hard at all to make this car AWD then. Swap the MS6 drivetrain from the transmission back.

uhhh...it already is a turbo... Modifing a direct injection engine is asking for trouble. There are so many more parameters that go into tuning a DI engine vs. port injection that you could easily screw things up. It also depends a lot on the fuel system and what they use to drive the pump. (accessory drive, cam lobe, etc...)

No matter what school you go to, make sure you do a co-op or internship program. It's worth so much more in the end. Just ask me or Berto.

But see, that's the exact thing...You'll only get out of it what you put in. If you try really hard and do well professors will get to know you and they can help you get a job where you want. Not only that, but most of getting the job that you want is name recognition and contacts you make while in college. Yeah, you may get the same degree from CSCC that you get from any other college but you won't have the same opportunities that other college degrees allow you. I think Berto said it pretty well.

And how long has it taken? Some people want it done, done right, and done quickly so they can actually drive it. Good job. You put a lot of labor into your truck, but that doesn't make you, or it, better then anyone else. These type of threads piss me off because honestly, who gives a fuck? Where do you draw the line? Ok, so you could install a suspension on your car, but did you design it? Build it? Did you even choose the spring rates? Why not? Oh, right, because people with experience can do it better. Who cares who put your engine together besides you? But still, you would have just assembled it. You didn't design and machine the rods and pistons yourself. You would have just ordered it out of a catelog. That's lazy. I can't believe you paid someone else to work on your set up. If you want to see real cars that people busted their own asses on, go to the Grassroots Motorsports $2006 Challenge. You'll have show quality vehicles that were put together for less then $2006 and they'll run as low as 11's in the quarter.

Honestly, who cares? When you're spending a lot of money on parts to go fast it's best to take it to the people that are most qualified to put it together. Then a) it runs properly the first time and b) your car's not down a long time. A lot of people have 9-5 jobs and don't necessarily want to come home to crank in the garage all night while their wife, g/f, etc. bitches at them. That said, I did all the work on my Mazda and I am doing most of the work on my Saturn. But it doesn't fucking matter.

I need to cast some aluminum pieces (intercooler endtanks). I need either an SLA part made so that this other place can make the mold and cast it, or I need a place that will make the mold. I have a quote from a place in MI, but let me know if either of your companies deal with this type of thing.

To make a pimp looking mid engine car that handles well and looks exotic for a lower sticker price. And it's not exactly re-badged...it's a completely different car. That's like saying the Mustang is a rebadged Lincoln LS.

Guys, it's a test vehicle, it's not a show car. All the black is probably either tape or it's painted matte black for other reasons (camo, etc). The red on the back probably isn't production either...or the Gallardo wheels...

The Impala SS didn't get the front suspension updates the GXP got in order to combat torqure steer. If you haven't driven one yet you'd be in for a suprise. It's not the same as your GXP.
