  1. I like the idea too. The Eyes On Design show has been doing this same thing for a while. I would probably stick to naming it some variant of Tuner or Modern Classics. However, if you say Model Classic, they shouldn't be covered in wings and body kits.
  2. Why are people so f-ing stupid that they STILL take their cars to this guy? Why would anyone take their Ford to CTD instead of PPC?! Both these guys sound like idiots.
  3. I think they did a good job on this car, and the fact that it's the third highest scoring car at Consumer Reports (only beat by the Tesla Model S and BMW 1-series) speaks pretty highly.
  4. Before the front and refresh, no, I would nite crank up the 4 cylinder boost. After, I think they got more stout. I would probably still look at the V6 instead.

Duh, they already do. (Probably not for a Subway job though)

Do you want American, cheddar, or fromunda? Extra mayo?
  7. Very nice looking Vette. What's the displacement? 5.5L?
  8. Thanks! My thoughts exactly.
  9. LoChirco is not the builder of my home. The rest of the house seems up to par, minus small issues, but it's still in progress.
  10. They are MLC windows, which after reading reviews are complete shit. It's happening on every window that is a slider. The casements and fixed panes appear fine. It looks like a common problem with this company and people have problems trying to warranty them. MLC stands for Mike LoChirco, and LoChirco is one of the larger home builders in the area. Looks like he started a window company so he could sell them to himself and now a lot of the other builders are using them too. Seems like we might just get fucked on this one. There are people with two year old homes that have water coming into their house, drywall damage, wood rot, etc. and they still won't warranty them. There was an entire development of 54 homes trying to band together in a law suit.
  11. CTD - First twin turbo lambo to be pushed into an airplane hanger. Aspires to be featured in rap video. UGR - twin turbo Lambo's that dominate racing video's, racing events, and parking lot meets.
  12. Dear No Spill Jill, I spill gas all the time, will you check my nozzle? Firmly press the near the base of my nozzle and check for spillage.
  13. Scooby Outback? Definitely lesbians hiding massive amounts of dildos in roof storage compartment.
  14. I'm buying a house and have some concerns about the windows. They are vinyl (guessing just vinyl-clad) and several of them have rust coming out of the weep holes. The weep holes are plugged, with what I'm assuming are supposed to be hinged doors, in order to let condensation out. However, these are stuck shut. I don't know if this is improper installation, a manufacturer defect, or what I should be expecting needs fixed. I'm assuming the condensation holes have been plugged since install, and the entire inside of the window is covered in rust. See pic below. Thoughts? The house is a new construction, so everything is 'brand new.' Haven't gone through final inspection yet. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h92/mallard1055/2013-07-16185203.jpg
  15. Passed an old man on the freeway riding a Harley with no helmet and no shirt yesterday. He was at least in his mid-70's and all his skin was flapping in the wind. It was disgusting.
  16. You can't walk fast, you can't walk slow, and you can't beat the shit out of someone while they lie on the ground. What is this world coming to!?
  17. Would it really short cycle or would it run longer and at a higher back pressure? If the thermostat is on the first floor it will take quite a bit of time for the cool air upstairs to make it down. I've also heard that the increased back pressure can kill the blower motor quicker.
  18. I currently have a 1.5 story split level on a basement with the same issues. There's no way to get around hot air rising, and this is at the root of the issue. Do what others have suggested and play with the dampers so that you push more air to the upstairs. Check for leaks and crushed ducts, but that's about all you can do, aside from installing a zone system. We've had it 74 downstairs and 81 in my sons room. We've adjusted the dampers to push more cool air to his room and keep his door closed and that helped a bunch. Now theres only a 1-2 degree difference at most. We finally found a ranch we liked and are moving in 2-3 weeks.
  19. Saw a green one this morning. Looked pretty dam good to me.
  20. I've seen them in blue, red, yellow, and silver and I think they look good. Yellow with black wheels would not be my first choice though.
  21. Pretty sure whirlpool makes the Maytag, as it's also available on the employee/partner discount site. Sometimes they strip some features off for the lower models, but I ASSume they are similar in construction.
  22. Good deal. I have a log in, but the partner discount isn't that good.
