  1. It's 6. I thought this was a thread with college football fans.......
  2. Did you find all of the dumb ass Cobra driver's? Jesus. No excuse for him being behind at all on the N/A runs. Just shows that it doesn't matter what it makes, it matters how you drive it. Let's just assume for a minute that the car was "heat soaked" as everyone says. That means he might be around 550 wheel. Still should have been enough to outrun you, key word being SHOULD. This video makes me want to find these guys and run them in my ported eaton car
  3. That body kit makes me wonder what the hell they were thinking. Saw the car in one of the mustang magazines and thought it was a joke. Motor and blower....yes. Rest of the car....NO.
  4. I felt sorry for the car before the work. That thing looked beat.
  5. I'm sure. I talk to him whenever I see him at Kilkare. His car is putting down around 100 more rwhp with the new setup and E85, so it's definitely a quick one. Just don't know that he was the best 03/04 to compare to. I'm guessing he may have gotten one of those "Here is your dyno sheet and then have the tuner take some out of it" deals. He brought that car out on slicks and only a driver's race seat one night last year and I think it went 125 or so. I think he said 127 out of it was the best at 570 or so wheel. Just saying.
  6. Doesn't matter either way, just thought maybe it was one of you guys. No need to throw a name out for my sake.
  7. Anymore?.........His car was getting it done with the N/A setup too! Either way, 10.xx is moving for a stock bottom end anything. A little, I mean a little, shit talk never hurt anyone either
  8. Same AJ that trapped lower with the whipple than I do now? Guy with the Busa as well? Not a great example of the capabilities of the 03/04's if so.
  9. Whose car was that? At first I was thinking Tilley, but it's clearly his C5Z in the video. Was it Kirk?
  10. Fast....144. Quick? Well into the nines.
  11. My friends cammed C5Z06 has gone 120 or 121 with about the same rwhp, so I know what they can do. My car made 481rwhp SAE two weeks ago. Went 126.88 last night, so what the hell is wrong with that 550 wheel car? Heat is the enemy of the 03/04's, but still.
  12. Very nice. Definitely more in it with better 60's.
  13. I believe that there were 3 cars in 10.5.
  14. The 500whp # is extremely dependant on where you rev the motor. If you keep it under 6K, then it should last longer. If you are running a blower and the crank is getting yanked on every time you get on it, that is another issue as well. Plenty of guys who ran a stock bottom end with loads of spray, but didn't rev to the moon who kept them together for awhile. Personally, I would build a motor with a good block if I was going for that hp #, but if that isn't an option just be smart about the build. I killed my 302 when it was probably 350 flywheel because I revved it to the limiter all of the time and spun a bearing, then the crank took a break. At 500 wheel it's a crap shoot honestly.
  15. Trails is open Friday night. Kilkare on Thursday. Anyone else going or are there more excuses?
  16. Maybe you should stick to cigar critique's.....haha!
  17. He has plans for a nicely built transmission for it. Unless that has changed.
  18. Have them on ebay now. Ending soon http://www.ebay.com/itm/OSU-vs-Toledo-Sat-September-10th-Section-38B-Row-32-/300597542704?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D2663412263116856984
  19. I hope the weather holds for this. I wish they could get some more cars for this. Used to be a lot more. Still worth watching.
  20. Make an offer on these. Need them gone.
  21. I have a pair of tickets to this week's OSU game. They are in 38B, which is the south stands, row 32, seats 29 and 30. These are my alumni tix, but I have some other things going on this weekend and need to sell them. I am asking what I paid, which is $150 for the pair OBO. Send me a text at 614-395-0027 if you are interested.
