  1. Someone is getting a very nice car here. Congrats. What color vette
  2. Thanks. Still has some more in it for sure.
  3. Update. Went out last night on 27x11.50x15 Hoosiers. First pass I either had water in the wheel wells or the tires weren't ready, because it went hard to the center line and I had to let out. Each time down I raised the launch RPM, but it was still bogging. Last pass of the night, which was the 4th pass in 45 minutes and the the 3rd pass was 7 minutes before this one, was the best ET. Brought it out at 5200-5500 and it went 60' -1.647 1/8 - 7.19 1/8 mph - 102.08 1/4 -11.19 1/4 mph - 125.10 Car picks up 26-28 on the big end when it's fully cooled and intercooler box iced, so it was definitely not optimum cooling. Here's a quick vid that unfortunately missed the first part of the run. http://s205.photobucket.com/albums/bb37/98grdpoundr/?action=view&current=IMG_00281.mp4
  4. That's what happens when you buy a BMW......
  5. Too bad it isn't this Friday. Weather looks awefully nice for racing.
  6. I've been on both ends of the table. First time was when I interviewed with the company where I still work now and the second time was to help hire a few more people. As far as the panels that I have experienced, it's the same as being interviewed by a single person as far as the questions are concerned. We would each take a certain part of the interview and ask those questions to each candidate and depending on responses or random thoughts by the others on the panel, they may have follow up questions. Each person will pay attention to your answers and "grade" you based on them. Be prepared for the usual character questions and make sure that you have examples to back up the answers. Example of that. Question asked is "Have you ever been involved in a situation where you felt like you knew more than your boss about something?" Have a reply with an example. More questions would be along the lines of strengths/weaknesses and ability to work as a team or an individual if need be. If you haven't prepared for these types of questions, do so now. I'll assume that this is for a job in your "field" so you should get these style of questions. Don't try to impress with fakeness or lies. Be yourself and answer confidently. If they like you and you are a good fit you are in. If not, examine the interview and think of what you could have done better. I hope this isn't too much.
  7. 4 jackstands and the hit.....when is it going to be ready? To the OP, saw the car at Kilkare last year and again at the dyno day on Saturday. Very nice and I never get tired of the sound of that type of blower idleing away.
  8. Holy crap it's a Buzz sighting. Will you be at the track day on May 13th?
  9. Saw it on Saturday and I wouldn't mind driving it.....I can't believe I just said that .
  10. Don't know you, but quit gaying up the Maker's. That is all.
  11. I don't think that you have to worry about it. Rain is coming
  12. Looks like NTR is living up to their rep as a has been track with scheduling over our rain date. They need to learn how to run the lanes and have people at the starting line with a clue among other things. I don't know how many times I put the back tires in the water box and do a quick spin to get them wet before the burn out, only to get the asswipe working the line flailing like an idiot for me to "stop doing a burnout". I'm not doing a burnout. I'm getting ready to. Never have that issue anywhere else. Rant off.
  13. I can take either day off. So, it's doesn't matter to me.
  14. Weather doesn't look too good now. Hopefully it magically changes by then.
  15. Was that on a tank that spray was used with
  16. I don't think so, but who knows.
  17. So, rain early with a break in the morning? Come V8Ganahl. Fill us in!
  18. May 6th. It's the day in case Friday is rained out.
  19. F'ing rain!!! I guess you won't be there for the 6th, assuming that the weather guys are correct
  20. I quick rev that doesn't risk throwing a rod is fine for that. Not bouncing off the limiter until it lets go.....If it was the friendly variety I wouldn't care. The I'm a hard ass stare was too much for me. I couldn't help but laugh.
  21. It's about time that you saw this. When do you leave?
