  1. Very well thought out points Eric. Very informative too and I definitely agree that the exec making big bucks has less of an effect than the 160 works in the local economy. The main flaw is with "the rich guy investing." You say he doesn't invest it all and even gave some numbers. If by that you mean he hides it in his mattress or in a safe deposit box then you'd be correct, but I'm willing to bet he's got savings and checking accounts. If this is true than he's investing much more than your accounting for and growing the national economy much more than your accounting for since once his money enters the bank account it becomes numbers. These numbers then get used by what economists call the "smart money people." These guys have the job of studying and investing smartly all day long. A lot of small time investors even watch these guys moves to see if they can spot a bargan. It also looks like your saying that everyone should make the same amount? Care to tell us what amount that should be? Care to explain why anyone would bother to excel in their job/life if they only get that amount determined by you? I think I'd take the job with the least possible responsibility and get paid the same as surgeons and smart money guys because it wouldn't matter. I bet they all would to and I"m sure they wouldn't take their jobs seriously. Myself I believe in a 100% free market and "Buyer Beware" should be lived by, but thats just me and I'm nuts. Evan
  2. That was pretty cool. They do big courses like that at tough truck comps. Not something I'm into with my trail truck, but if I had a $100 pos thats what would happen to it. Evan

    I feel old

This is the truth. I do like Spongebob, Invader Zim, and Farly Odd Parents. Though the last one has the most "Gay" stuff in it. Very clever cartoons if you pay attention to the jokes. I ROFL quite often when watching these. Especially Invader Zim. That is one very odd show. Evan
  4. Oh now he's driven at least 50,000 miles in 2 years and probably isn't out of school yet. You must drive back to Kentucky every weekend I bet:-) Hehe you left it open for me and this is a truly great topic. Evan
  5. Wow guys look at faces? If you don't like her face put a paper sack over it and stop being so picky:-) Evan
  6. Can't believe I'm the only guy to catch this one so far. Wow you are stupid that your still doing stupid shit if you really were "unable to move for 2 weeks." And you say you were a dumb shit at the time. WTH? Your 17 and been driving for 1 year so 1 year ago you were a dumb shit and now your not, but you still do dumb shit stuff? Again Wow. I for one can say that I have done and do dumb stuff in my trucks. My car on the other hand I drive so much that at least once per year I end up spinning it around on a wet ramp or sliding to a stop in traffic, but thats just life as a field service tech in central ohio. So far in like 12 years and calculated 700,000 miles of driving I've never been cited for any accidents. Can't say I haven't been in any, but the people always hit me:-) I do agree with you though about people who call the cops or follow people around. I totally understand following someone or calling the cops if someone is actually doing something to threaten you personally like throwing stuff at your car or trying to run you off the road, but not for just simple lame stuff that everyone except a soccer mom would end up doing at some point. Though I've called the cops on people for "drifting" through my neighborhood before. I don't mind if there just playing in the snow, but when its a hot summer day and some jackass thinks they can go 40+ through westerville streets and slide there car through intersections they are going down. I had always hoped I'd be close enough to the road with a brick some day, but I moved instead. Evan
  7. Wow I like the idea, but I don't think I'd want my meat anywhere near her. She could probably cut your dick off with her PC muscles if its for real. BTW She's definitely hot for a British chick and curvy is the best. Evan
  8. Sounds just like Fifth Third. My wifes is a manager there and she gets the same pissed off story 10 times a day. Evan
  9. I've seen them hit them wipe out doing that before and I just recently saw one hit there breaks, pull over into the grass, fish tale all over, and cause an innocent car to have to make severe maneuvers to get out of the way. This was late in the evening on I-71 just south of Delaware exits. Just more reasons I don't like/trust police. Evan
  10. Lol I was thinking the same thing:-) Evan
  11. Wow why you mowing this time of year? Subdivision bugging you or something. Evan
  12. Lol wow. I'm all for blowing up animals, but not in the house. I think I'd have opened a door and let him go outside before I blasted it. Evan
  13. Hehe to be honest I don't watch TV at all besides some star treks and a few cartoons on NICK. I'm just being paranoid, but I guess if they wanted to they could do anything they wanted and it would always be their word vs ours. I think we'd all lose that one. As for putting a few rounds in the cop. Thats what I'm meaning. You go to jail for ever and probably get the death penalty. I guess we could stand up for Honor and whats right, but in the cases I'm talking about we only end up taking the bad guy down with us. Life isn't always black and white I'm afraid. Sometimes we just gotta suck it when they say suck it:-) Evan
  14. Lol you don't fear that they could decide you had drugs, assaulted them, and other stuff? They could even take you out somewhere to have you preform sex acts on them and you would be completely powerless to stop them. I call that way to much power. Evan
  15. I guess my fear of police is a good reason to have many many more traffic cameras. At least they can't attack me or mis understand anything as hostile. Evan
  16. Lol CPD will probably say they saw 2,000lbs of weed in the back and decided he needed a good beat down because there dicks were feeling a little short are the moment. I hate the power the police have over every single one of us. There is no defence against them and it scares me any time I talk to one. Its almost like we need a lawyer and a camera man with us at all times. Evan
  17. I mostly swing trade regular stocks and yes its work for sure. I only go for a couple hundred profit per trade usually thats only around a 2% gain, but thats a major rule "never swing for the fences." Its when you get greedy and hold on to long that you get hit. Evan
  18. The 2nd amendment was not meant for hunting or entirely for protection from criminals, but was created to make sure the people were armed and the government could not force upon them taxes and laws which were unfair. Throughout history the first thing governments do when wanted to force upon the people unfair things is make sure they cannot fight back. Look at the old sword laws of england and the laws of the far east against weapons and the martial arts. In the US we have already given up all our rights because we might as well be armed with water pistols compared to what our government could use against us. I don't care what kind of gun fanatic you are you and 100 others like you don't have the means to go up against the government for any length of time. All you'd get is maybe to make media headlines for a short while except that if it came down to things getting that bad I doubt the media would give an unbiased report of your story. Evan
  19. Also check out http://www.investopedia.com to get a lot of good info about all types of investing. They also run a real time real market simulator that I use to test trades. http://www.superiorinvestor.net/ is also a great forum and they have an options trading section that might have answers for you. Evan
  20. Well options are risky enough that you have to get cleared by most firms like scottrade to trade options. You really gotta know what your doing to do well and even for most day/swing traders they are much to risky. If your trading stocks a few times a week and doing well you might look into it but get practice with them first and read a lot of info about them while your at it. Evan

    Need a Loan

No clue where you'd go. In your situation really parents are about it for a small cash loan. If you had good enough credit I could tell you a simple credit card "feature/exploit" to get a quick cash loan at a nice low credit card rate. I guess there are loan sharks who deal in your type of unsecured loan, but you'll pay a major interest rate and its probably not worth it unless you only need a loan for less than a month. Evan
  22. Hehe let the whining begin. Evan
  23. Well your car would most likely lift a tire driving only one side of it onto my trailer. That would probably be about the only thing a car could get up on without hitting body parts first. Or you could try out the clubs RTI ramp (30 deg angled ramp about 6 feet high used to measure vehicles flex) That would be interesting:-) As for the WJ's they are still part of the real jeep family in my book. TJ's, XJ's (the best IMO), and ZJ's (the old WJ name) are the good ones remaining. The Libertys (KJ) so far doesn't seem to live up to the jeep name at least not in the models I saw on the beach. They were the things out there with 1 wheel spinning out of everything else except for Subaru's and the occasional BMW car (yes car.) It was quite a show watching people try getting onto the beach with cars. Funny part is if they'd just gunned it and got out of the 1/4 mile of loose stuff they would probably have been fine till they had to get back. Evan
  24. Well actually my brother does, but I'm helping him look. Basically we are looking for corollas or camrys. I think he'd like a nissan something too. Needs to be a 4 door car for the wife and kids and at this point he's not looking to spend much less than $1000 would be perfect though I think thats a lost cause for the "reliable" part unless he lucks into something. If you know of a car let me know on here, thanks. Evan
  25. Lol good now lets see it work with a tire off the ground because that would be pretty cool and would then be effective offroad, but you'd wear the shit out of your brakes, trans, and really over work your engine if used for any extended period of time. Though for its intended purpose of driving in adverse conditions I know it would be very nice. My `05 Taco has a good bit of electronic stability control built in and its neat seeing it work during breaking, but if the rear diff locker is engaged it turns off all safety features including the ABS and airbags to ready itself for some real offroad work.
