Copperhead is right on the money. You don't wanna go offroading especially in a fullsize vehicle unless you plan on denting every body panel and if its not a 1 ton you'll probably break axles and u-joints pretty often just trying to lug all that weight around. If you still want to come out and play check out our novice ride which will be comming up in August. We are requiring pre registration this year due to having over 100 rigs show up to our last event. It is definatly going to be a NOVICE only event from now on and all drivers will be espected to have little or no offroad experience at this event. Hopefully this will bring it back to being more fun for the participants since the trails are so easy I idle around 99% of it in 2wd. You could always come up to my place and get stuck in my backyard:-) So far a CASE 750 dozer and my mud truck are the only things that don't get stuck. I've had to pull my wifes truck and a 9,000lb skidsteer out a few times. Also we are talking with a guy that has like 100 acres around delaware that lets some people do some wheeling. Its private and invitation only so no promises from me. Evan

Who cares if your going bald. Don't let the TV/radio ads get to you. Nothing wrong with it from my point of view, but I never give a rats ass what people or I look like either. +1 for the mullet wig that is just awesome Evan

Buy one from Detroit. Much better strength than any others on the market. Still weak IMO so I welded my 12 bolt. Evan -
Hey Tim, I noticed your first pic has one of the problems alot of indoor pics of mine end up with unless I"m careful. The REDs and the stained wood parts of the picture ended up with to much red in them. What do you usually do to correct for this? I find it happens most when I leave the camera on auto and let it do the thinking. I fix it by going to one of the manual settings and thinking for myself. I did just notice my S2 has an indoor setting on it. I'm going to try it out next time I'm around alot of old wood work. Evan

I use a Canon S2 for astrophotography and general use pictures. I really like its low light capability, AA batteries (I use rechargeables and if I need more any store will have them,) and SD card media format (I like them because there very common though I think CF flash cards might have a higher write speed so they'd be better suited for high res videos.) Here are some examples from my Blackwater falls trip last weekend. little froggy http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/EWhytsell/Picture106.jpg the water fall http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/EWhytsell/Picture119.jpg seneca caverns (shot no flash, shutter speed around 1/8 second in a lit up area of the cave http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/EWhytsell/Picture076.jpg caverns (shot in a much darker area at more like 1/2 second at F2.7 http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/EWhytsell/Picture062.jpg These were just me wandering around in the cave playing with settings. I usually snap the shots then take them home and the file has the shot details in it so I can learn what works and what doesn't. Photobucket compresses them so if anyone wants to see more detail the 2592x1944 original file really brings out much more detail. Evan

I filed through H&R block and the state snail mailed it to me within a couple of weeks. Filed on the last day possible too:-) BTW never again will I use them. Cost us over $200 to have them tell me exactly what I have always figured out on my own in the past. The wife never likes my anwser and always thinks I"m doing something wrong because we don't get huge checks back every year like others she knows. Now I'm proven right and I can go back to doing it myself again. Evan

Outer Banks, NC. Best beach IMO. Much more scenenic and historic than the rest of the popular beaches. Other than that I'd have a hard time spending a week doing any one thing. I usually end up doing the beach for a couple of days and then going to the mountains to play around in streams doing whitewater and just exploring. Evan

official word, blackouts illegal in ohio?
Tractor replied to Slimpsy1647545505's topic in Passing Lane
Honestly the rules on vehicle lighting is pretty clear and measurable. It is a distance from the vehicle that your tail lights must be visable. I want to say 1000 feet. I guess if someone wanted to they could argue about it and if your lights can be seen at the required distance I doubt there is anything the law could do if you desired to waste time proving it. Apartment Lease is up soon, need Help with not getting Screwed
Tractor replied to integranator's topic in Dumpster
Yeah I can assure you my wife and I didn't mess up anything in our apartment and they claimed all kinds of stuff was broken when we left and didn't give us our deposit. I figure its just normal procedure for them to do so and didn't worry about it. Not enough money to even care anyway. Evan -
Oh great now people take there pets shopping. I suppose they whine and cry until they get to pick out a toy now too. wow its been awhile since I went in a mall. Evan
-
Yeah the wife and I went for a weekend once. Its kinda boring after you see it from all the angles. Oh and Canada sucks though the butterfly conservatory was definately one of the better parts of the trip if that says anything about it. Evan
-
Yeah I vote for real. Thats about how anyone would walk in the gear while trying to aim their dick. Evan
-
Hey good ideas guys. thanks. I'll try those places. The one in delaware would be cool since I'm installing it in Marengo anyway. Evan

I need to buy around 1600 feet of 2" SDR 21 water line. Anyone know where to get it? I'd prefer that it came in 100 or 300 foot rolls rather than the 10 foot sections. I tried all the normal DIY stores, but the ones that even carry it have the 10 foot sections. Evan

wow 1989 cars still cost that much? must be a nice one. Evan

Lol you guys are great. Come on tell me more. Ask anyone that knows me personally. I love all animals (except spiders.) and they always love me. Even the ones that they owners think are hard ass old dogs that bite people. I can't help if some animal runs out in the road. Same with a kid. sure it would be sad, but if I raised a kid dumb enough to run out into a road then oh well let the strong survive. Evan
-
lol It would cost me more in time off from work to fight one than its worth. I've never fought a ticket and don't plan to. especially since I'd have near 0 chance of winning. Its definately a racket. cops should be out doing real work instead of collecting taxes. I find it funny that I see severe things happen all day long on the road and no ones ever around to ticket them. Something needs to change, but I doubt anything ever will. Evan

Yeah I stopped reading/watching/listening to the news ever since I realized that its 99% bad, evil, stupid shit that most people on the earth would be much better off not knowing about. The same shit has been happening as long as there have been humans on earth. Its just that today we have the ability to know about it almost instantly from anywhere on the globe. I try to focus my attention on the good that comes from life and people around me. For one example I listen to WOSU 820 radio most of the day while I"m in my car. It at least has 99% informative, useful, and inspiring talk about many topics. Definatly worth it if your tired of the awful crap in mainstream media like I am. Evan

Well with all the tornados hitting trailer parks down there I"m not suprised. Evan
-
Yeap, you know I like pissing off hippies. Its a hobby. Evan

You could always put them in trash bags and let the trash man take them. I always did that when I lived in westerville. Its kinda funny the guys will actually take car batteries and 31" tires if they can't see them. Evan
-
Its a dog who gives a fuck. I got pets, love them and all that shit, but when it comes down to it there not a human. At least you didn't hit some dumb kid trying to save there dumb dog. I jumped my truck over a nice hill once and landed on a dog on the other side. the poor fucker never had a chance and it sure was funny hearing it squeak as a tire landed on it. My wife laughed so hard I thought she was going to pass out. I've had countless animals hit by cars where I used to live. I've had them run under the lawn mower and about any other way they can die, but oh well. I can say that the ones that got killed in true Darwin style weren't the best and brightest of my pets. Evan

I'm interested since I'm building a house and have a 1600 foot driveway and alot of land to take care of. If you find a buyer definately sell it. I won't really need it for a few months, but we'll see. Evan

ouch... I dont remember brakes being this expensive.

I've tried it all on my 94 corolla and I like the cheap ones the best. They last just as long and I've had many chances to test those theories since I drive it daily and our family has put 280K on it. Evan -
Agreed. I've hated that car from the first time I saw it and will never like it until I flop it over and park my truck on it. Evan
