Does anyone know if a TBI spacer is at all helpful on a GM 5.7L engine? Would it require reprogramming to be effective or just a reset of the ECM? Evan

I can see why so many would have arrests of some type on there record. alot of them are/where extremist in there day and some still are. I could see a young Robert Byrd getting busted at a KKK rally or something. He still gets himself into shit every few years anyway.

make sure all the fittings are seating properly. I put a new slave cylinder on once and it had a slightly deeper hole so the fluid would leak out every time I'd try to bleed it. Evan

12v common ground electrical systems are kinda neat in how they will react. Evan

My company does contractor work for the US Defence Department's Department of Finacial Administration Services on E Broad St. I've heard a few times on the radio that its probably going to be closed down in the next year or so? Anyone on this board work there or have relatives that work there? I'm just curious if its true or not and what the real timeline is. I'd kinda like to see us out of there anyway I hate that place and the contract with have with them totally ties are hands. Evan

I drive 700+ miles a week on my job. I see so much stupid shit all the time its pathetic. I will say I don't use turn signals, but thats because I gave it up years ago. If you use them people will just speed up from behind you and pass you on both sides for some reason. My biggest thing is people who think the 10+ over the speed limit is to slow so they won't pass they just get less then 5 feet from my bumper and turn on or flash there high beams. When that happens to me its an imediate 4 wheel lock up and I try to either run them off the road or get rearended. I've got hit a few times up here and I've been paid $1000 each time so WATCH OUT ASS HOLES! graemlins/slap.gif hehe Evan

Nice. Not as good as the bug on 35" swampers up at delaware.

someone fucked up a year or so ago at Rome-Hillard and Roberts Rd Shell station. It was 0.47 cents a gallon. everyone from work ran to there cars to get in line. It was pretty funny. I had just got gas at the speedway down the street so I missed it. Evan

I've found PB blaster great for loosing bolts. Also if it needs turned you can use a large pipe wrench to grip it. It will work even if its totally round. I had a bolt on my toy that the impact wrench rounded off and the pipe wrench saved the day.

What octane does the owners manual say it requires. When I had the 22RE in my `92 toy the manual said 92+ was required. It did stumble and ping on <92 too. Have you checked for any TSB's related to the P0440 code or related systems? I'm not fimilar with the engines and related control systems for vehicles running OBD-II systems. I'll help out with what I can though.

Yeap most service stations will patch a tire for <$5.

I totally agree that all politicians area liars. I don't trust any of them very far. I vote for Bush since he is the least harmful to me personally. He probably does try to help business out as much as he can. I want him to. healthy businesses hire employees. If you don't believe that look at that hugh fake internet bubble. Alot of IT people in this state had jobs that were bullshit, but paid a little to much. I know I had several during that time. He is also the most likely person to fight E-Check and other enviromental bullshit laws that prohibit us from enjoying life. I for one have alot to lose everytime an enviromental protection law passes. I'll definatly be voting for Bush. Evan

And I thought someone on here said RWD's are no good for drifting. Evan,

I'll just say that women, especially young ones like to think of it as a damn game. Kinda sucks, but I agree sounds like she'll end up on Jerey Springer with like 10 screaming kids and 3 ass holes fighting over none of them being theres.

I don't have a camera and if I did I'm too brain dead in the morning to use it. I usually only see the car for about 2 to 3 seconds and it clicks that its the car after I've already past it. I'm totally dumb in the morning. We gotta track this thing down though the pictures would be well worth it. I'd guess the person works a night shift somewhere since I see the car going into my neighborhood in the morning around 7:50 to 8:10. The wife says she's seen it going outbound at around 5:15 to 5:30. I'm usually home by 4:00 so I miss it going out.

Somebody's got some time on there hands. Or there completely insane. They must live somewhere close to me because I pass it every few days, but its in the early morning and I'm way to tired to do anything but thing damn there goes that crazy car again.

I wish I had a camera, but I'll try to explain. I've never gotten a good look at it, but there is this car that I keep passing on or around Dempsey Rd and Westerville Rd in Westville. I can't even tell what type it is with all the shit thats glued to it. Looks like toys or something. It is a convertable though. Anyone care to explain it? Used to be a guy down in Marietta that had a car that he did a hole battle scene on with army men and tanks and stuff glued all over the hole car, but this one in westerville blows that away. Evan,

It even has a flux capasitor. Thats probably more guy then the star wars car that dork made. Oh well gotta respect the amount of time involved.

The chevy 350 is actually smaller than my 22RE was. Theres way more room to work now that I have it in my truck. Don't know how much room you would have for a 22R in the car though. The height would probably be the biggest problem. Toyota wasn't kidding when they said it was an over head cam

All W, G, and R series transmissions will bolt up in that case. Those are truck, celica, and supra trans.

Thanks guys. I already went through the all data stuff and found that it looked kinda common. As usual domestic car forums aren't nearly as good as the Japanese import ones for know anything about troubleshooting, but those links you provided looked good. I'll pull that panel and recheck and clean everything. Maybe I'll do some solidering also. Looks like a new panel cost $100+. Might have to rig up a new panel.

Let me know when your going sometime. I didn't get the tranny I was going for saturday because it wasn't what I needed. I did however find out how to fix the one I have so if I can put it back together I'll be running again. Can't wait to pull a ford again. I miss all the whinning
