  1. That was a pretty small 500-600lb bomb even by WWII standards.
  2. I go to the Praxair downtown at like High and Whitter St's. For me the rods light easier and don't splatter much.
  3. Sweet see if the ghosts will throw a nice HP laser print in my truck for me. Oh and a toner and case of paper would be cool too.
  4. I've only gotten this email every couple months since al gore invented it.
  5. I have 2.2 and it was buggy the day after I installed it, ie wouldn't dial properly and had to reboot to correct it. The last couple days I've used it exactly the same without any trouble so I have no clue. The only thing that I might have done differently is I've played around with my app killer settings a little. Doubt that I fixed anything though, it would be plain luck if I did.
  6. you might have luck on my companies website http://www.mtbt.com or call the numbers on the page. Otherwise I'd try cartridge world also.
  7. I watch the shows sometimes because I love historic places.
  8. I just got a droid X. Love it and its nuts how much power they pack into a handheld device these days. Myself I wouldn't want to deal with a smaller screen, but as mentioned in my thread a few days ago I need all the screen I can get for engineering drawings and tables.
  9. If you can send me the highest res version of the photo that you have I'll see what I can do to help it out. Unless the photo is crap I should be able to get at least 2X enlargement without any problems. I do this sort of enlargement all the time and it can be done if the file has enough resolution to begin with. Or if its a print, simply scan it with a flatbed scanner at like 1200dpi then send me the file and I'll clean it up and send it back. email - evan@photographybyevan.com
  10. Yeah your 650kbps is actually awesome. Especially considering that most ISP's would consider a 20% variance as good enough. With tweaking you can usually get close to 100% so your doing good.
  11. Good point, I'll also note that now that we have really good crime investigation systems there don't seem to be people disappearing at "haunted houses." Now with the news media we get the misfortune of hearing about every disappearing person, death, and injury that occurs all around us. We put out hundreds if not thousands of people to find a missing camper/hiker. So I have a feeling if a group of kids were to go into a haunted place and one gets lost we'd have crews tearing the place down board by board and checking every inch for any hair/skin cells to find out what happened.
  12. I tried tethering for the first time last night using easytether and had 1.6mbps down and 0.9mbps up.
  13. I have centurylink DSL, at my current house. I've had it since 2008 when it was EMBARQ and it doesn't give me trouble. I have 3mbps atm and dslreports.com speed tests consistently rate it at 3.2-3.5mbps. The upload however is around 0.9mbps, but the only time I wish it were faster is when I'm sending an entire set of wedding photos to my client gallery. I've never had roadrunner so I can't compare it, but I had WOW for a bit and it was clear that it didn't connect to sites as fast, but otherwise was fine.
  14. I was just thinking of taking profits on my sirius position again for the exact reason stated. All the good news lately has been planted for election season and theres gonna be corrections.
  15. Looking at their 5 year chart you can see they've remained pretty flat and likelly will continue except for winter 2008 which I believe was a release of a lot of games, namely call of duty which I read on wiki did very well and likely did much better than expected to cause such a movement. The chart also shows they would have been one thing in this bad economy to put money in to be pretty safe compared to even index funds and other things which is pretty funny. I guess people will find the money to buy video games even if they lose their house.
  16. Do you have anything else to add to "not surviving without him." IMO If they renew his contract they will just reduce their bottom line. I didn't really think he was that big anymore, but I really don't know anything about Howard other than he's not my cup of tea. They are at around an 80% churn rate from car sales and I have a hard time believing that even a large majority of those subscribers care if he's on the radio or not.
  17. If a person had really good knowledge of the trends in consoles, tech, future games/developments they could do well swing trading those stocks. I do not have that knowledge so I'd be simply guessing. I can tell from what little I do know that the call of duty series has been very successful so its likely that the new release will be helpful, but lots of times its already been priced into the stock. I'd rather put money into a console maker, but then without good knowledge of the tech and trends your guessing/hoping one is successful vs another maybe having recalls and such.
  18. Here's a better link from the State that also shows $3K http://www.fcmcclerk.com/forms/smallclaims.php Hehe yeah mechanics lien law. Business owners should know it and its very interesting reading in the ORC.
  19. That is a tiny wind generator if that's what it is really for. The ones Monongahela Power have out in WV are massive. They make a good bit of sound as the blade cuts through the air.
  20. As long as your fiance isn't also an alcoholic you can at least escape it on a day, week, forever basis. If she has a problem it might be best to address it before your married because I can almost guarantee that it will be far worse for you once your hitched. If her family is very important to her than it will be annoying having to deal with that. I deal with not drugs, but white trash/criminal inlaws and thats bad enough.

Size isn't a problem, I've always used a belt clip or holster anyway. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pick up a droid, but just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I'm missing. I did look into the fascinate a bit, but it seems less business oriented and has much less internal memory.

Not to take my own thread off topic to much, but that is a smoke blowing lawsuit for PR from what I can find on it and I like news like this as it helps in my investment hobby. This stuff comes up all the time and won't likely go anywhere unless for some reason they want to tie up courts for awhile.

I'm getting a new phone very soon and have no clue whats out there. I'm with verizon and am very interested in the droid X. I've read reviews of all the latest droids and I think the X fits best for my needs. Is there any other phones I'm over looking? I like the big screen since I will be using it constantly at work for maps, emails, texts, spreadsheets, PDF drawings, and internet access. I know its been out a few months now and know how technology moves fast and don't really like buying new stuff often, though its probably much more capable than I'll need. NO IPHONE STUFF
  24. A V8 in a wrangler ain't gonna hurt the value. Especially if its not a hack job.
