  1. You sure its just trailers or gvwr? It seems to read gvwr. That could include a lot of 1tons with utility beds.
  2. And to think I'm getting real serious about buying either a duece and a half or a 5 ton.
  3. cool idea. getting late i may send you something tomorrow.
  4. Yeah I know what your saying, you can totally tell I don't know anything about design.
  5. I read it and what I get out of it is non commercial vehicles can ignore it. Things will be getting a little more annoying for light commercial vehicles though which would even include small owner/operator landscaping businesses. I would say that if you have sponser logos on your tow vehicle you probably should remove them to avoid the hassle of being pulled over and have to explain that your non comm.
  6. I need help, I'm a total noob at designing stuff and I need a custom business card laid out. I've been using a crappy template from vistaprint.com but so doesn't everyone else;-) I messed around with it awhile back and came up with this so far. Any ideas? http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/EWhytsell/Wedding%20ad%20photos/Businesscardexample.jpg
  7. If your a real nerd you'll play EVE-Online. Theres a good number of local people playing and they even have a gathering once per month for the extra dorkyness.
  8. Stay away from me, I don't need any of that;-)
  9. stay away from the first few years of the trail blazer. the transmissions go out constantly and if you don't believe it do a google search. I was looking at them when I decided on a jeep because I like GM (well old GM anyway.) The newer trail blazers where okay, but I wanted to stay below $5-6K so they were ruled out.
  10. I bought a 1999 grand cherokee 4.0L last summer for my job. I needed more room to haul parts and equipment. Its one of the nicest things I've ever driven. I spend 60-70% of my day in it (so much that I even have a laptop mount just to give you an idea) and I'll say its very comfortable. `99-04's still have solid axles in the front and rear so they do still ride a bit like a truck, but jeep did an excellent job of making that easy to deal with and I doubt mines ever had shocks (142,000miles) now. I got it because the engine/driveline is very reliable and its very easy to work on and cheap to get parts. Down side is gas mileage being in the 17-21 range, but thats comparable to any 4x4 vehicle including small things such as Chevy Trackers and toyota pickups. I paid $3800 for mine and so far its been very good. Just small maint items that I noticed it needed. As for the comments a few replys ago about rattle trap this one I bought is great and I pull U-turns off the pavement all the time, hit or jump curbs, drive long distance in construction sites (we do a lot of work with kokosing) and I've never hear a rattle or had a dome light flash on (some do this.) Also you gotta appreciate that the vehicles original buyer was well into the middle class, the vehicle was high price tag for the SUV market of the times and it is a flag ship vehicle for Jeep Corp and you get them used very cheap now.
  11. I used my circular saw to cut an exterior door down to size for my observatory. Chopped about 1 ft off no problem.
  12. Yeah 1" of gravel isn't likely enough. I've always seen my dad do at least 4" as well. I used to see rebar a lot more, but now days I do see a lot of wire mesh being used instead. Since its just a patio wire mess would be fine. rebar is better in places where if/when the concrete cracks you still have a large piece of steel to hold things in place.
  13. If it was a "communication device" in a charlie chapman film it wouldn't surprise me. Its a communist conspiracy!!!
  14. These helpful? http://www.hockinghills.com/trail_maps.html http://www.hockinghills-oh.com/oldmanscavemap.pdf Not great maps, but Its about all the park service has.
  15. Thats pretty high mega pixels which isn't completely bad. I shoot with a 10MP canon DSLR and I can print to 30x40" easily. I even have 5MP photos I've enlarged to 16x20 that look perfect. So the downside to really high mega pixels is that you end up needing larger memory cards and you fill your computer up with files that are much larger than necessary. So pretty much beyond 5MP is wasted expense so don't just look for the largest MP you can get.
  16. I like canon, but there all about the same these days. Really the only major feature to look for is a good optical zoom. Digital zoom is ugly.
  17. I love living in the country, leaves are just fun here.
  18. Go to the track that parallels rt23 by lewis center.you'll see a train every give to ten minutes.
  19. I know this info exsists.just don't know where to point you. Try the marion oh train club.
  20. 50k+ per year is more about who you know then just having a degree. I guess it depends on what degree your thinking about. Besides a few of the professional degrees your gonna be sadly surprised when you finish school and make 35-40K with your degree starting out. I know you didn't act for my opinion, but its the internet so you get it anyway:-) Start a business if you want to better yourself. Degrees are becoming a dime a dozen.
  21. I'm normally a pretty hard line conservative, but I will say that Strickland is an old school democrat so he isn't that bad and it could be much worse. Not saying I'd vote for Strickland with a good republican candidate in opposition. I think I'll go with Kasich this time.
  22. I drive around here so much that I gave up caring what people do and just get out of the way. People change lanes without looking and others stop at the yield sign on on ramps and wait for a clearing. Tailgating is normal and I just ignore it though the spraying washer fluid thing is a pretty cool idea. Now days though I'd rather not find out that the dude I spray is unstable and get into a mess I could have avoided.
  23. This. Though I just do a walk around at every fill up. Also as the weather changes everyone should check their pressure and anti freeze.
  24. Yeah, I'd start with a photo, use a goofy HDR filter to make it look cartoony and go from there.
  25. I fix wedding photos as needed and enhance some photos, but thats about it.
