Best timeslip: R/T - .118 60' - 1.954 330 - 4.925 1/8 - 7.313 MPH - 102.58 1000 - 9.397 1/4 - 11.178 MPH - 126.03 I was having launch issues ALL day...I made 22 passes and my best 60' was a 1.8x. I guess that is to be expected for my first time drag racing the bike. My uncle jumped on and took two passes; his best being: R/T - .282 60' - 1.846 330 - 4.646 1/8th - 6.933 MPH - 107.79 1000 - 8.936 1/4 - 10.636 MPH - 132.15 There is about a 70lb difference in ridder weight, and about 30 years of ridding time. I feel like I faired pretty damn well to be honest. My highest trap speed of the day was 128.9mph, so if I can learn to launch the bike hard without bogging I feel 10's should not be too much of a problem. I also beat Mike's best time and MPH so I'm happy. -Marc

I just got off the phone with Norwalk, if you are on a bike and run slower than 9.99 in the quarter all that you are required to wear is: Leather Jacket (i'm sure textile is fine...just has to have armor) Full Helmet with eye protection (Face shield is good) Gloves She said those are the minimum requirements; she still suggests wearing leather pants but they are NOT REQUIRED IF YOU ARE RUNNING SLOWER THAN 9.99.
