  1. I understand these principals with regard to high performance/high boost vehicles, but dropping an octane point or two on a boosted grocery getter has never presented a problem for me In my A4 1.8T, which "required" 91 octane, I ran 89 octane with no problem/knock. I would knock like hell under hard accel with 87 octane. The Kompressor runs flawlessly on 89 octane as well. Of course this from a guy who wouldn't run under 94 octane in the FD. Pot, meet kettle.
  2. No 12 volts with an Amp load longer than 4 seconds, no chance to start. The one thing I hated about rotaries. I can't remember how many times I push started.
  3. Oh snap - rep. I'm shedding a tear. Punch your english teacher for me. ...and I know nothing about Skylines. Just ask my garage: http://usera.imagecave.com/Rotarded/Skyline1-copy.jpg Information: The RB26DETT was more than proven. I'm not a fan of the new engine, yet.

  5. I personally find that offensive. The man has an affliction and cannot control his movement, shaking constantly. Are you suggesting that his hands could not hold still enough to do porting work well? Maybe you are right.....I'd bet he'd give a good hand job though!
  6. The links show what they can be used with: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/Navigation/Accessories/CNDV-70MTP http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/Navigation/UpgradeDiscs/CNDV-80MT

  8. Where's mine? I know I haven't Nazi'd on you in some time.... Jesus wept!
  9. Where on the leak do you live? We use to own own the gray house, 2nd from the Dam, on the right. the one with all of the decks and the two tiered dock. It was deep enough right off the shore to dive of of the upper deck, which was 13 feet off of the water.
  10. I worked at Advanced Imports/The RX7Store for 2 years building engines and modifying cars. It was very enlightening to see all of the fucked up kits, and correcting butchered installations which drove me to engineer better ways. As most who know me will attest, I was very meticulous when it came to my car. I went so far as to put a blown up shortblock on an engine stand and test fitted everything prior to installation. I never spliced in wiring, instead I created harnesses with connectors at each end so they could be removed and/or reinstalled on the side of the road should something malfunction. I did the same with my fuel system routing all of my lines so that they could be changed easily, which did come in handy when changing a leaking hose on the side of Bethel road. While I did do a fair amount of parts scavenging and whoring, every item was exactly what I desired and not a cheap chinese knock-off.
  11. No hotness. My discs are 2004 and just a bit outdated. They would get me to Apple Valley via Findlay. Don't feel like spending $175+ for stuff that's out there for free.
  12. I am looking for pioneer discs CNDV-70MTP or CNDV-80MT navigation discs. Burned copies are ok. Downloads are available on bit torrent sites, but I'm a computer moron and would appreciate anyone who could download and burn to disc the converted files. Hook a brotha up?
  13. Dear Johnny, I can't go with you after all. It seems I'm still banned for life for that purple thong I wore last time we went. I knew I should have shaved more than my back! Regards, Rotarded
  14. I have had good experiences with Ruth's Chris. Tonite I am trying out Smith and Wollenskys for the first time. Review to follow. It's called dry aging. Most of your high end restaurants either dry age their own meat, or purchase it already aged. Dry aging occurs while the beef is hanging in a refrigerated cooler, at a specific temperature and humidity, for 10 to 28 days after harvest and prior to cutting. When beef is dry aged two things happen. First, moisture evaporates from the muscle creating a greater concentration of beefy flavor and taste. Secondly, the beef’s natural enzymes break down the fibrous, connective tissue in the muscle, tenderizing it. Most of the tenderizing activity occurs in the the first 10 to 14 days.

So you go on pecking away at your filthy keyboard, as you keep slowly detaching yourself from reality. You rule. Rep to you. Mr. Columbus Racing, flame war starting, internet guy.
