Actually, the A4 Quattro rocks in the snow. It only took me 5 extra minutes on what is normally a 22-25min drive. I'm damn glad I fixed the ABS two weeks ago or it may have been a VERY different story this morning. At least on the unplowed neighborhood streets.

I read quite a few reviews on the HTR+, while they rate 9th overall, they seem to have a good following and must be be quite a bargain. If you read the last 10 or so reviews by the Audi drivers, they say these have soft sidewalls and make some tread noise after 5000+ miles. The Bridgestone did rank #2, but at $35+ cheaper per tire, the HTR+ seem to be a reasonable choice for the frugal minded. Especially if you have to replace one from pothole damage.

After reading the reviews from owners of AWD cars, I would pick the Bridgestones hands down. Remember, you get what you pay for.......

I love recoil and newbs. I have personally witnessed two idiots, who each said they'd shot a 30-06 before, end up with scope wounds requiring stitches around their eyes. In 2006 I set a new personal record: 106 hours of OT in two weeks (Memorial Tournament). Salary, no OT pay, but got a nice bonus check. Being a salaried manager, I have averaged almost 64 hours a week for the last 15 years. That equates to over 1200 hours of overtime per year. In 1993 I averaged 79 hours a work week. Effectively 1560 hours of overtime. NOTE: It is a very bad thing for a person on exempt salary to track your worked hours and equate it to hourly pay. Example: In 1993 I made $5.83 an hour.
