  3. Dear Mr. Disco, That has to be the worst way I've ever seen in attempting to get a job. You list no qualifications, you refer to the job as a gig, and you do not even use your real name. Even if I had an opening (which I do not at this time), or knew of one elsewhere, I would not have even considered you for a split second after seeing this post. Bartending requires a certain set of social skills which are demonstrated in an ability to socialize/network with the thousands of people you meet on the job. If you indeed have those skills, you should utilize them in a better manner than this. How about you give this a more professional, less lazy, try? Michael

  7. No. What he is saying is that the use of the word "seen" is incorrect and it urks him, much like it does me. I saw the movie last night..................... simple past tense I have already seen the movie................ present perfect tense We have seen too many accidents............ present perfect tense No one had seen him at the party.............. past perfect tense See how the word SEEN has a HAVE or HAD in the same sentence. I learned this in 6th grade. What makes it more annoying is the lack of capitalization when stating the name of the movie. Thanks for your attention in the matter, A Grammar Nazi!
  8. +1 for any of the El Vaquero's (Riverside, Shawnee Hills, Polaris, Hilliard Rome). Authentic Mexican, served EXTREMELY quickly, and great prices.
  9. Yeah those pushing those apex seals back in with the motor assembled is a real bitch. Worse if it's a turbo! All kidding aside, I can assemble a 13b REW long block in less that 2 hours, by myself. It's actually much easier than a assembling a piston motor. There is very very little difference between a 12a and a 13b short block, other than the size of the components (non-interchangable).
  10. Can I have all of Howard's possesions after Jesse exsanguinates him? Can I have Jesse's sister after he is sentenced to life in prison for killing Howard?

  17. Yeah right. Looky what I found........... http://autos.yahoo.com/usedcars/detail/index.html;_ylt=Ak5_RDPE0T8QGNyeAAZcoVAFEcUF?cid=automobiles-177736660&dst=62.02&rsr=c2JyPW5jLWVhc3RfYmVuZC1tYXpkYS1yeC03 ....and the Yahoo ad states the car is located in Wisconsin? I wonder if they'd have a Somalian address to send the check to?????????
  18. Asking some of those questions can be argued, in court, as illegal. The following guidelines, called the Fair Inquiry Guidelines were established by the EEOC, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, in order to provide specific protection from discrimination in hiring certain protected classes. Subject: Relatives Marital Status Unlawful Inquiries: Whether the applicant is married, divorced, separated, engaged, widowed, etc. "What is your marital status?", if over 18 "What is the name of relative/spouse/children?", "With whom do you reside?", "Do you live with your parents?", "How old are your children?" Lawful Inquiries: "What are the names of relatives already employed by the company or a competitor?", other than that specific question, NONE. I'd have thrown those right back in his face. "Do you ask illegal questions of all of your prospective employees?" "Are you aware of the penalties set forth by the EEOC?" "Thank you for wasting my time. I choose to work for superiors who are properly educated and prepared for the general work environment"
